No, it's most certainly less than this.

I think Ronster is mixing up some specs. The revealed yield of Barcelona according to a slide presented by AMD is 0.5 defects/cm2. According to the ITRS (International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors), 65nm processes should be at 0.22 defects/cm2 in order to be at world class yields.

Based on these yields and a Barcelona sized die, we can expect Barcelona to yield around 60 good die per wafer, which is 30% yield. If AMD gets their defect density down to world class, they would yield about 115 good die per wafer, which is 55% yield. 55% may seem small, but it's expected for a die the size of Barcelona. Of course, AMD already claims their yields are "better than expected", but at 0.5 defects/cm2, the numbers speak for themselves.
