76.1% RE-PARTICIPATION FROM PSL6 TO PSL7:

There were 88 contestants in PSL6 (less Mr. Sheep). 67 of them are in PSL7. That is a 76.1% re-participation rate! PSL1 had a re-participation rate of 78.9%, PSL2 was 78.4%, PSL3 was 78.4%. All three are amazingly similar. The re-participation rate from PSL4 to PSL5 and from PSL5 to PSL6 was substantially better! Of course, PSL6 to PSL7 is much closer to the first three. I'm going on the assumption that the August scare has caused some people to sit back and watch the markets for awhile.

We have 3 newcomers (Rookies) --- (LT MATT, SWICK984 and NORTHERNLIGHT). Let's give them a big welcome.

Naturally one would wonder if the re-participation rate for PSL7 was correlated to where they finished in PSL6. There usually is a small correlation, but not this time. In fact, oddly, the group that finished 71st through 80th had all 10 return. Also, the group that finishes 31st to 40th has the worst (by far) re-participation rate. I suppose if one does well, they are excited to continue and if one doesn't do as well, they want to prove something. Maybe those in the middle don't feel they have as much reason to participate in the next contest.

Shown below is the first group of 10 in the final PSL6 rankings and how many of them (8) are participating in PSL7, etc. Re-participation rates by groups of 10 are based on how each group finished in the previous PSL contest.
