BRLC: Whacked last week due to CFO leaving and disappointing results. Still a growing force in the industry and expected to turn a solid profit for the year. Hoping for a rebound heading into the seasonally strong part of the year.

TATTF: Falling knife recently but their interest in LIMC, which was spun off, is worth more than the market cap of TATTF so the remaining cash/assets/operations are valued below 0. Paying a .40 dividend next month which is bad as far as this contest goes.

SMTX: Slaughtered after recent results but perhaps unduly so. May report .15 or more next quarter when the mark-to-market stock unit charge works for them rather than against them.

RCKY: Shoe maker disappointed last quarter but is still claiming they will make 1.30 for the year which is a P/E of under 8. Sadly (contest-wise) jumped .50 after I submitted my picks Fri.

JCTCF: Delivered record quarter recently despite their traditional wood business. PR said "This reflects the rapid growth in our non-wood specialty products like dog kennels, our proprietary gate support systems, perimeter fencing, and greenhouses coupled with seasonal strength in wood products like fencing and landscape timbers. The record earnings are all the more impressive given the fact that our industrial wood segment, while profitable, continues to struggle." Mr. Boone concluded by saying, "The outlook overall for the fourth quarter looks good."

PLUS.PK: Wildcard. Company catching up on filings. I'm hoping they catch up in the PSL7 period. Trades below book and should show nice profit for last year due to litigation victory. I wrote this up here:
