Took a gingko, and now I remember my picks...just don't ask me why I picked them! OK...it's slowly coming to me...
JADE - not a believer in the reasoning behind the selloff; the growth and macro case are there; looking for about 40% before I freeze it. In my real port, I'm holding for 100-150%.
SDTH - see JADE reasoning. Currently my largest position in the real port.
CPHI - I like the sector and the growth rate. 20-40% seems do-able.
SGTI - unknown Chinese biotech play with cheap fundies. Expecting -10 to +50% on this one
AGX - late entrant to my list due to me not being aware of the stock! Nice earnings and outlook; tons of cash. Expecting 25-50% once discovered.
OEGY - had to have a solar play in here, and so at short-term lows, all I need is a good newsletter pump for this one to give me the 20-25% I'm looking for.
If my estimations come to fruition, I should end up with about a 25% gain for the contest (good enough for perhaps a top-15 finish). But I'm sure that I can make transactions to end up in the negative!
Solid DD combined with timeliness and conviction is a recipe for profits.
