I spoke to Drew about the Platform problems today.

When phoning iFinix Friday afternoon, I caught Drew more or less by accident. I didn’t expect him, and didn’t have any good questions planned in advance, so I started with what I was calling about. I mentioned that I was being charged an extra $20 on the start of another month of my free subscription. Drew said that that is a general problem that they are aware of, and that it will be taken care of for all people affected shortly.

I felt badly wasting his time with a clerical issue, so I asked if he had received any of my messages, as I was concerned that they weren’t getting through. He confirmed that he had, and that the technical issues submitted through the Customer Support people do get through to him. He said that the observations and ideas are appreciated, and that they hope to have most of the issues raised dealt with within the next 2 weeks (no he didn’t set a deadline or guarantee this estimate in any way).

If you do see a new problem with the Platform, or an old one that you think that they might not have heard about yet, please do contact them through the Customer Support people.

That was it for the phone call. I was off the line in under 2 minutes.
