Wow. Clear your schedule for a couple hours...

Here is the opinion of Ike Chidolue (O.J. Chidolue's second cousin). I am posting a link to the article he is commenting on following his opinion. It is a very long read, but absolutely the most detail I've seen about Emeka Offor and Nigerian politics. It's worth the time to read it.

"Friends,

Well, I too have read Gary's piece, and will equally need to digest and hopefully give a valued response sometime this weekend. However the politics of OG&C (Oil, Gas & Chemicals) is quite intricate; with the "BIG-OIL" ever ready to stop at nothing to discredit newcomers into this field. I will not attempt to hold brief for Sir Emeka Offor, nor any of the Nigerian local players, however it is disturbing to see the US government leaving no stone unturned in trying to prosecute EHRC over this $100K-allegation of bribing the Sao Tome president, while at the same time playing-dead, deaf & dumb when the issue was leveled against Halliburton and their satanic operations in Nigeria, (I hear that the allegation against them runs into $$$ millions of dollars). Gary is a US citizen (I suppose), and he had equally mentioned in a previous article how he was party to bribery, & some dirty-cement deals, etc in Nigeria and other parts of BlackAfrica, and perhaps the said US Foreign practices law does not affect US citizen/individual doing businesses in Nigeria

ExxonMobil could not fathom the possibility of a relatively unknown BlackAfrican corporation daring to deal in a field that is the exclusive reserve of "Big Oils" & "White Corporations"....
Well, like I said I need to digest the content of this article, (I have been trying to digest it since yesterday when I read it on Sahara Reporters' webpage under the title "How Emeka Offor ruined the ..."
The movement of monies by some of these privileged Nigerians is mind boggling to say the least, and I will need to comment on certain of these activities. Gary Busch has quite a good repository of information were he draws from, which leads me to wonder if by any chance he may have some information on say the alleged missing $12billion oil windfall under our 'respected statesman' & past ruler-IBB, and certain multi-nationals' activities during that period and beyond? or perhaps more information on ExxonMobil's 'power-operations' in Nigeria...
Another reason why I will need to sleep over this issue is because O.J's name is mentioned here, and O.J is my 2nd cousin, and our relationship may becloud my judgment but the monies mentioned here and the operations of it, has unsettled my inquisitive mind, so I will not plead the “Fifth” on this matter. Though I do not hold brief for O.J, but since my family name was mentioned here, my initial reaction was along the lines of "self-preservation", O.J is a principled man, and our Nigerian community here in Houston may be willing to attest to this... however, on this issue, I will not hold-brief for any of them, I will attempt to take a parallax-snap at these allegations, the movement of monies, the new OG&C frontier, the new-comers in the business, the "Big-White" concerns & the new re-colonization of BlackAfrica, our oil, & other natural resources.

Finally, with respect to seting up a commssion of inquiry, such commission should not be limited to OBJ's administration, lets go as far back as is possible, we do not have such a short memory.
Still respectfully yours
