hillzman, I agree that the $3k fee is not much. I guess since I am a small business owner I have been looking at this more from a small business owner perspective than the investor perspective.

Yeah, it would definitely be nice if all public companies have public records available. However, isn't that the reason we have the different levels already here and available? Seriously though... there is already the Grey Market, Pink Sheets, OTCBB, then a bigger board. As the company grows it can move up the ladder so to speak. Why add yet another level of bureaucracy... especially one where never ending FEES are paid to a money making entity? If a company wants to go through the expense of reporting, might as well just go to the OTCBB are my thoughts. So, to me, this whole thing with the symbols that is coming and the fees being charged to the companies LOOKS to me to be more of a money maker for the IMPLEMENTOR than something being done to protect the investor. I could be way off base on this and completely 100% wrong but these are my initial thoughts.

I guess it just rubs me the wrong way that while this is, of course, an "optional" item for companies to do, it is also something that could be viewed as being forced, so to speak, on the company.

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this and many probably think this new new rating systems from pinksheets.com is going to be the best thing since sliced bread... and maybe it will be. I just looked at it not in a great amount of detail and to me, at least on the surface, I have to question the true intent of this "program".

Oh, also, please don't take any of my comments as me thinking Hemi should NOT do this. I think it would be great if they did just do it. After all, I think with the Wilshire thing happening in the background right now I'd be willing to bet they'd have the necessary financials already put together and would only need to file them. My comments on the entire deal have been more to the side that I think it is being done more as a money generating machine than something which will truly help the investors.
