MAA update, you do the math:

- BNP Paribas is the financial adviser for the financing for the Kouilou project http://bnpparibas.ca/en/home/default.asp

- SNC Lavalin International Inc. is performing a phase II bankable feasibility study (BFS) http://www.snclavalin.com/

- Consolidated Contractors International Company SAL (CCC) http://www.ccc.gr/ is contracted to assist with the completion of detailed capital cost estimates for the installation of the Kouilou potash plant

- preliminary potash marketing agreement with Ameropa AG of Switzerland http://www.ameropa.ch/ Ameropa, a leading distributor of fertilizers worldwide, has also indicated its interest to acquire an equity stake in the project (recent million share cross at $2?)

- MagMinerals has been drilling and installing commercial scale solution mining wells at the Mengo development site. The conclusion of this drilling phase is expected to result in a National Policy 43-101-compliant reserve estimation

- MagMinerals expects to be the only greenfield potash supplier to come into production in the next five years and would definitely be the lowest-cost supplier to various key southern hemisphere markets (Brazil).

- previous exploration and development have indicated that the potash resources are in the billions of tonnes

- former producing underground mine to be exploited using modern solution mining techniques

- MagEnergy division is rehabilitating the Inga II Congo river Hydro power facility. Inga II currently produces about 350 megawatts but has a total generating capacity of 1,424 megawatts

- MagEnergy is preparing feasibility studies for two additional hydro sites in the DRC. They are: Busanga in the southern Katanga region and Zongo II near the capital of Kinshasa. The successful implementation of MagEnergy's projects is deemed to be critical to the successful development of DRC's burgeoning Katanga copper belt

- MagForestry division has begun the construction of a 500,000-tonne-per-year wood-chipping plant on its harbour-side lands located in the Atlantic port city of Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo. Annual revenues from chip sales are expected to be $30-million (U.S.), which, in addition to log sales, could bring MagForestry's annual sales to about $40-million (U.S.) in 2008
