Looking better. Too bad the 300:1 reverse split reduced my holding to near nothing.
Had the same experience - no info available until release approved. Person I spoke with said he received many calls with same question about qualified loss and had no idea why some got answers and others did not. More waiting.
Thanks DG!!
"will be an insignificant amount"
Is this because:
a) the original settlement amount was insignificant
b) there are so many people/shares even decent payout is divided into very small fractions
c) lawyers & fees ate up most of the money
d) other?
Pick one. SIPC success will be based on:
- CBD beer
- Navy strength gin
- Tequila
- Texas & California
- Sleek's Super Salami Mania
- All of the above
(need to know what to tell prospective investors)
LOL That's funny! Here is a multiple choice business plan...
(a) absolutely nothing
(b) print & sell shares
(c) create convoluted inter-company asset swaps with sister company to help with (b)
(d) give away the only remotely viable product to Scamin' Karl Riedel
(e) announce [fill in the blank] new CEO, product, org structure, share structure, etc.
(f) some combination of all of the above
This volume can only mean one thing...
...they rehired Karl! LOL
BLEG? Bungling Less Equity Group?
What stage of mania is this?

Get in the game Tew!
On the globalbx listing of SIPC for sale, Ted's reply when asked "Is this for real?" was:
"Absolutely not! We have no idea."
Wowsers!!
It's not just CBD that the FDA (Feet Dragging Authority) is dragging its feet on
https://www.foxnews.com/health/too-many-rules-fda-restricts-coronavirus-at-home-test-kits
Any provisions in the $2T stimulus bill to stimulate the FDA to stimulate the CBD economy with guidance provisions?
Wasn't Mitch supposed to get it done last October? November? December? January? February?
When Big Pharma is ready, then Mitch can jump up and take credit for it.
Scene at the Cheers bar during the COVID-19 season (no doubt everybody was drinking a Major Hemp)
CBD beer would obviously help peeps cope with the stress of pandemic isolation. The FEDS should budget buying all that could be made and distribute to all.
Stay well, everyone!
Meant to add to that - stay well, everyone!
An event like COVID-19 limits income, transportation and therefore discretionary spending. Which limits profits. So in a perverse way, just to help infuse cash into the consumer spending machine, this pandemic could motivate Big Pharma to allow their puppets Mitch & the FDA to approve & release guidelines for CBD. Greed innoculating itself.
I'm GLAD MH IPA gets good reviews.
I truly WISH we were currently or even recently actively producing.
But an occasional decent review only proves the drinker liked it and says NOTHING to dispute the Church Street Brewing Sales Director statement that the last run was in September.
If anyone here, or Ted, has PROOF otherwise, please, do tell!
"Well it tastes good so they must still be making it."
Yes, of course!! In fact with careful extrapolation of average review scores, aligned with just the right pinch of pixie dust, applied properly to logarithmic palette variables, indisputable proof can be calculated that beer is or was or might be made. It's all plainly there in the taste bud fractals analysis.
As an example, three 5 star reviews in row OBVIOUSLY means the beer was produced next week. The beauty of it is that there is no requirement for PRs, or communication or filing or anything since the brewing that hasn't stopped is in the future! Brilliant!
Stay tuned for another exciting episode of "Why I Like CANB" to see the amazing 30 bagger in action. As previously established, we're following the TLRY pattern where they went from $20 to $300. But wait! That was claimed when we were at $2, meaning we would go to $30 on a similar 15 bag run. Now that we're at $1, it will take a 30 BAGGER to get us there!! That's the amazing thing about the TLRY hypothesis: the lower the pps, the higher the bags! Who wouldn't like CANB?
The only comfort I have here is knowing this is the way TLRY did it...or so I'm told
Yes, I foolishly stayed in as I was already upside down and did not want to lock in those comparatively minor losses then. Now down bigly.
But...if cautious optimism will produce a 15 bagger from here as it did for TLRY, taking us to $30, then I'm good. And it would take just about that. Is that due to happen this year or next?
Are you kidding??!!
Quote: "The split cannot make it much worse.
2) The R/S will quickly be forgotten when the sector heats up and finally takes off again, along with the filings."
Do the math. Peeps calling for dime or quarter pps at pre-split sub-penny levels sought 10 to 25+ x their current balance. Not unreasonable at all in pennyland.
Post split, which included a net drop in valuation, it would be super phenomenal to have even 2x or 3x gains.
So the POTENTIAL, for holders of reversed shares, is down about 10 to 25 or even 50 times what it was, based on potential percent gain. Not quickly forgotten.
For the life of me I can't figure why those who continue to talk this up ignore this fact.
And if I'm the one missing something here, PLEASE 'splain me cautious optimism.
Congrats to all the superpumpers & other insiders that held non-splitting shares - well played!!
For the rest of us, well, that's what comes of wandering into hell looking for a glass of water.
If the beer doesn't work out can we get into CBD hand sanitizer? LOL All the stores are sold out!
There is (or at least was) obviously more than just a PR machine here.
Beer WAS produced.
Licenses WERE obtained.
Distribution & sales (at some level) DID/DOES happen.
The beer DOES get pretty good reviews.
The question I'm trying to understand is WTF happened that a nascent but promising & actively going operation just stopped and went silent.
As to your rather one dimensional diatribe about grow lights, I'm no expert company historian, but wasn't that before Ted's time?
The assets being a registered otc ticker (ready-to-use for selling shares) and a bunch of existing bagholders (to keep the forum board alive)?
A "where's Waldo?" rainy day exercise:
Lookup Ted Jorgensen on LinkedIn - (here's a head start: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ted-jorgensen-032b00116)
Now scroll down to see all the entities for which he is listed as CEO or president (other than Major Hemp LLC):
Canadian Green Inc
Amerivest Real Estate LLC
American Hemp Brands LLC
Jorgensen Properties
Now for the fun part. See if you can locate Ted at any of those places and post your findings & his direct contact info.
The first one to find Ted gets to share WTF he's doing.

Did they elope? LOL
The question isn't when will FDA allow VATE to succeed, but why VATE is not already among "the proliferation of popular non-pharma CBD products" as found everywhere in "a store that has a “huge stand for CBD products.”
Cape Canaveral, Florida - NASA announces partnership with Texas brewer Nine Band to build brewery on Moon. "A small step for hops, a giant leap for beer drinkers", claimed Ted Jorgensen of Sipp Industries, whose Major Hemp IPA will be the first lunar brew.
Just kidding ;)
Quote: "we have to be open to the fact that there might be some value to these products. And certainly Americans think that that’s the case"
...too bad the FDA represents Big Pharma and not Americans.
Too funny - 1 of 2 greens on watch list this AM - go figure.
Didn't say it sucked. Said it needed massive change.
Or we could stick with the hoot of ignoring the reality of the lack of performance and just blither on about exciting reviews of last year's beer. Yawn indeed.
EXACTLY!! Nor the kind of guy who would begin a new round of production of his only product (beer) and just mysteriously stay quiet about it.
??? I'm sure there must have been a point here - it just got lost in translation.
I was referring to the need to change a few facts.
To borrow a phrase, it is an inconvenient truth that we are not currently producing beer and have not for some time. Whatever supplies are left will run out, regardless of how it tastes, if we don't produce AND market more. And the same character claims that say no way Ted will let this die would also cause him to announce production - if there was any.
Just as inconvenient is the stop sign, which hinders both new investors and no doubt brewer partnership negotiations.
Something needs to change here - massively. Just celebrating last year's beer is a dwindling proposition.
So, yes, I would love to see the tasting notes continue - by the dozens per week - on sales of on-going, current, expanding production.
Maybe Mitch & Ted will pull a rabbit out of a hat tomorrow and good news and explosive pps growth will start. But, right now we are where we are, no point pretending otherwise.
Mods, please sticky Zig's excellent summary of the SIPC experience.
Quote: "It all depends on the FEDS."
Wrong. It all depends on Big Bev, Big Ag, Big Pharma...Big $ will activate the FEDS when it suits them.
