Free trading now! Sell that sh*t!
KUSH spinoff shares are now free-trading as WEDG. Sell that sh*t while you can!
KUSH spinoff shares: My KUSH spinoff shares, from 6 years ago, were converted to WEDG in 1:9 merger of some sort. Thank Dog! I wonder what’s next?
Interesting how they keep the cash coming in by repeatedly issuing Convertibles for a very lucrative discount. Again, and again. I would guess this sweet deals go to “friends and family”. (Page 10+ https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/66600/000147793220005243/mmmm_10qa.htm )
Yeah, about 2 1/2 years. They could take it public, if they wanted, but they're having too much fun picking the pockets of CBDS "investors".
I thought I read somewhere that DTC can cancel the shares after 3 years, but I can't find it again. I hope they can go public early next year. I at least want a nickel or dime per share!
I like that rumor, but where did you hear it? I have not heard anything, going on 3 years.
(Is there a 3-year limit on DTC allowing dormant shares in an account? I started researching it and hit a dead-end.)
You mean "KUSH"? In deep storage, until someone wants to take it public. I wish we could find a way to get them to move on it...
It's a pump-and-dump trading tool. Yes, it's at 100x it's intrinsic value. Roll the dice, catch a wave, or stay away!
The 20 year lease mentioned above is over now. What next?
Ask your broker if you can get a paper certificate or can transfer them to someone else at Interactive Brokers. A buddy of mine is short a bunch of shares and would pay for yours if they were actually transferable in some way...
I was hoping that since GRWC is approaching zero, that those scamsters would take KUSH public soon
Smokie, Any further thoughts on CBDS? I still have my phantom KUSH shares, and a bad attitude!
The KUSH spinoff is still a private company. It sits in your Brokerage Account until they decide to take it public. I wish they would, but they're probably having too much fun milking CBDS...
Gary Johnson could be getting rich, if he stuck around to milk this cow!
Smokie,
I really wish the SEC had the resources to investigate dog shit companies like this, but they don't.
Sad!
Old news, but there's not much else to go on, except Kubby's Facebook post that KUSH now is headed by Carl Sanko. Hopefully he'll take it public as GRWC and his other "projects" become less lucrative ??
Take your initial investment out of the market and just play with your profits. You need to consider worst-case. Sleep well!
I feel the same way and am out for about the same amount of money. Thanks for the info...keep up the good work. My expectations are low...I feel pretty powerless
So I guess the law firms you talk to think it's unwinnable or there's not enough money in it? (Are you looking for criminal prosecution, a class action, taking over the company(?)... not sure what I want, except honest SEC filings and responsiveness to shareholders!
I'm thinking that Sanko and Tobias will keep KUSH in their back pocket until CBDS, GRWC, etc become less lucrative for them. Sooner, than later, I hope!
Thanks Smokie! I've also sent e-mails to them and I follow Kubby on FB. I should pick up the phone and see if CBDS' IR contact is useful, or see if there is contact info on their domain registration.
Smokie,
I'm doing some digging on this and KUSH. Can you tell me who is under investigation and how you know FINRA did not receive their application?
Also, does anybody know what other companies, besides GRWC, have the involvement of Tobias and Sanko?
Thanks!
I wish I knew how companies like that die. I think it's up to DTC, but they are impossible to contact. IB mentioned Colonial Stock Transfer, but I don't know how they fit into the picture. I'm hoping someone else knows. I've spent hours on it. (At some point, some of us may want to see if declaring a tax loss is possible and legal)
No mention of KUSH here recently. Has anybody tried contacting the supposed new owner, who is involved in GRWC? I wish I could get a share certificate for a souvenir (and to get them out of my account so I don't have to stare at them.
I'd like to ask him what it would take to take KUSH public.
We're coming up on the end of the one year KUSH restriction. I wonder if my broker (IB) will automatically remove the restriction?
Does anybody know if it's possible to privately buy/sell KUSH shares while it's not public? (...or remove it from a brokerage account and get a paper certificate?)
5 years is a long time to sit in a brokerage account without an IPO or any public filings. Anybody know how/when a brokerage, the IRS, or anybody else, could declare the company worthless and defunct?
I'm curious how you know about the KUSH employees? I don't know how to get any info on this steaming pile of... (If they don't go public, I wonder if there is a process with a broker to declare the shares worthless?)
...by being short CBDS on the KUSH spinoff date!
KUSH IPO cancelled according to a new Facebook post by Kubby. How the heck do we unlock our $$$ from this POS? (...and I know someone who is short and wants to close out their position, as well.) Is there some sorta gray market for non-public shares?
BTW: when is the one year restriction over? August?
Ugh!
Mike Gravel vs Gary Johnson. Would anybody, with more knowledge than I, care to compare Mike and Gary? On the surface (PR biographies) they are both former politicians and are pro-cannabis. Beyond that, are they skilled at building a company?
Does anybody have reliable info on how long the Kush spinoff shares will be restricted? Also, Kubby is claiming April 20th IPO, but wonder how reliable that is...
I'm a bit overweight on Kush and think I'll sell a little each month and see if he really builds something out of this...hedging my bets helps me sleep better!
Thanks. Good info. My guess was about a nickel, too. Any idea when the IPO is? (e.g. Shares available on the open market?)
Pre-IPO 0.05(?) Can you tell us the source of that info? Sounds about right, based on CBDS current value.
(I've also left messages with IR asking about when non-restricted shares will hit the open market and to confirm the lockup period...anybody have any secrets on getting a live human on the phone or an e-mail reply?)
Can someone summarize KUSH situation for me?
I'm digging through SEC filings and this board trying to catch-up on the KUSH situation. I've been out of CBDS for awhile, but my Interactive Brokers account is now showing "CBDS.RSTD" (as in "Restricted Shares")
(a) I understand these shares will soon be re-named KUSH and be restricted from trading. Until when?
(b) Will KUSH shares be available on the open market soon in case I want to add? Interactive Brokers tells me it is a "private company" right now.
(c) Lastly, this 1.5x CBDS divvy: what's the Date of Record for that?
Thanks from a CBDS fan who was caught by surprise!
Thank you for posting that. It's confusing at best...I now have no idea which of my shares will qualify and how/when we can put a value on KUSH shares.
It seems that IR will answer e-mails, but not return calls. (I left 2 messages with my phone number). I wish their Annual Meeting was closer to me. I think I'd attend and be a bit "vocal" about shareholder communications.
I left messages with IR yesterday and the day before. No reply. Looked for Gary Johnson on Twitter and failed. All the excited longs are licking their wounds, I guess, and maybe moved their money to $MDBX today...
I agree. No paperwork with the SEC as of yet. When a company fails to do what it says it's going to do and Investor Relations is asleep at the wheel, the price takes a hit...
Chased it down below $3 and unloaded part of my position. Nothing on SEC Edgar that would indicate yesterday was the "date of record" for the spinoff.
Getting out before it drops below $3? It indeed has been a good run, but until I hear something from the company I need to protect myself.
