The vapourware may have just evaporated. Or it never existed in the first place,
You forgot to mention that the CEO Mr Tassiopoulos has been busy brokering a deal for another company in the cannabis business and receiving a $500,000 fee. It strikes me as odd that a company with such exciting technology as Sphere 3D would offer its senior executive so much free time to broker outside business deals.Read more here: https://www.aleafiahealth.com/uploads/2019/05/Aleafia-MDA-Dec-31-2018_FINAL.pdf
Miracle Max isn't bringing this back from being 'mostly dead'
Hey, has this POS reached a $billion on sales yet?
Ah yes, Dell. These clowns certainly leveraged that story to profitable effect. I can't tell you how many investors I spoke to that were hanging on because of that story, and it was a fantasy in every way.
Drop me another private message with your email so I can send you those documents we discussed. You know the ones provided to me by a Utah resident proving that there was no product when a certain CEO said "we are tired of development, now is the time to sell, sell, sell"
So, this is how a pump and dump stock promotion finally dies. How many millions did "executives" make from this scam?
Sorry to know that many fine people were duped into gambling, and losing, their life savings so some sleaze bags could live the high life.
Is that price drop the reason they include "dump" in "pump and dump"?
I'm thinking of gambling on this one..Is it like the pump and dump ANY? Where is it in its cycle? Thanks
Why is this post still up? We all know it doesn't work, never did and that it was all a fantasy intended to separate investors from their cash.
Your dirty socks would have more value than Glassware ever did
People will continue to believe its real. Its what pump and dump artists do so successfully.
The end of the pump and dump, not pretty.
I am watching the story of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. Another story of hype, and bs tech promoted by a scam artist(s).
When will people learn?
PS I told you so
Or didn't want to sign the financials
You could just republish anything printed by the Primate over the last five years
Yep, its puzzling how Mens kew it would pump up and dump down. Almost like its a pattern or something.....
I was speaking to a former staffer. He says this was the company motto and theme song:
How does the SEC describe Sphere?
https://www.sec.gov/fast-answers/answerspumpdumphtm.html
Again, too funny. I have to wonder how many of the pro AMY traders are really insiders. It worked before when Sphere was the next big thing so why not now.
Yeah, sure. Reminds me of Q1 2014 when they reported "surging revenues" and then had to reverse those sales when they merged with Overland Storage. Over 180 days, and not a penny in revenue recognized through they claimed a million is sales in their first quarter in the market with their "game changing"Glassware etch.
Common thread: Eric Kelly was Chairman of both entities, and the revenue was wiped out.
There was never any revenue, but suckers goosed the share price because of the revenue ramp. Rinse and repeat.
Tell me one thing this company has EVER said that came true re product deliverable, sales, or for that matter full financial disclosure about loans, warrants etc, and then tell me one reason product related that indicates success going forward.
Just one single thing
"Seems" like a pump and dump scheme? Seems? Too funny. Cant believe that there are new "investors" chasing this POS. How stupid do you have to be?
Wasn't it PT Barnum that said "there's a sucker born every minute".
Whomever said it, he told the truth. There is a Greek and a Pondering Primate that have made a living following that truth.
Hey Mens, time to catch up. Give me a call
At this point in time, can we all just agree that this is a scam, a classic pump and dump scheme that is in its final death throes.
There's always more with money to lose. It's what casinos know, and it's what pump and dump artists know.
There is a sucker born every minute.
Pump and Dump. The suckers never learn
Mens, Im no expert in the field. But I assure you, it didn't take an expert know this was a product of imagination.
PS Every single tech expert in the field that I know, including some that were approached by Sphere to join their Technical Advisory Board (including the inventor of the hypervisor tech that runs Amazon AWS), and a well respected Computer Science professor at CalTech that engaged Sphere and its pumpers on Twitter, said it was all bs, all the time.
All you had to do was read the SEC warnings about Pump and Dumps on their web page.
And ask a few simple questions:
1/ if this technology is so incredible, why is no one using it (including the clients Sphere claimed was using it)
2/ why could they never demonstrate it
3/ why did they steadfastly refuse to let anyone test drive it
How do you spell Sphere 3D in Canada
"PUMP AND DUMP"
If Kelly had a machine gun....he would shoot his foot off. His continuing track record as the most unsuccessful executive in tech remains unchallenged.
Of course, that assumes running a successful company was the objective. Just ask investors that were fleeced for their views.
Sphere 3D is now worth just marginally more than a penny a share (pre reverse split). I know a lot of good people lost money on this, but I know a lot of axxhats lost money too.
And of course, the promoters made millions.
At this point, can Hugo and I say "we told you so"?
Hey Gorilla, now that Sphere 3D is worth less than a penny a share (pre reverse split valuation) can you tell us what happened to the multi-million dollar ATM market, the end of the Apple toll booth, the only way to migrate mainframe apps and data to the cloud and of course, the Citrix killer that will destroy VMware?
Look forward to your feedback.
I assume you are using VMware local desktop virtualization solutions for either Windows or Mac. Frankly, those solutions are toys that VMware essentially gives way for a minimal fee.
I suggest you research Horizon, a platform that competes directly with Citrix's core offering, XenApp.
I agree with all of what you say about the players. Simply criminal scam artists.
However, the product never worked. Period. It was not a hypervisor, (and was never marketed as such).
There is ZERO evidence from the company they had a working product. Never mind a product that delivered economic value or could compete. Your would speak to people like the Director ofIT at New Caney.
And Citrix is nowhere close to being the largest virtualization vendor. They lag substantially behind market leader VMware.
PS I still chuckle when I recall the conversation I had with the CTO of VMware at the time of the Horizon product release. Man, was he surprised to learn that Glassware and DCO were embedded in Horizon as Bookman claimed.
PS2 any guesses why Bookman deleted that tweet, and that was the last VMware marketing announcement that included Sphere execs?
Are you suggesting its not already in every server? :))
Hey, I noticed that "Glassware was tested, and it works" is still a highlight post on this forum.
Aren't we all just little past the point of believing that? It's more proof that Sphere 3D was a well orchestrated pump and dump scheme. They truly have no shame.
"Bookman has tweeted some blockchain stuff"
You just have to laugh.......
Hugo, why would you say such an awful thing....about potatoes?
When you work at a pump and dump scheme you know when the end is near. A penny is better than nothing, right.
I wonder if Microsoft finally were able to give Tassiopoulos a usage report for Glassware consumption on Azure.
Still a surprise to me that Tassy was the ONLY customer that Microsoft did not give those reports to, or even allow him to log on to an Azure portal and see for himself.
Could it be that the Greek wasn't completely honest about that?
Na, could never happen......
