OMG I wish there was a "LIKE" button on this board. This one cracked me up! Thanks DBrown.
Hey All ..
I've been here since day 1. Bought in on that first day at $3.50 and averaged down through the tough first year. Watched and read all the talk through the bought deals and the "new floors" which inevitably didn't hold. But like a lot of you I stuck it out, believing in the future of the industry. Crazy to see where we are today. I think my best buy was at $1.70 or something like that.
Many thanks to the long timers who have provided a lot of DD over the years, including Engage, TMI, Yoda and Dbrown among others. I didn't post much but I was pretty much a weekly (and sometimes daily) reader. Great community here.
Thanks!
Pretty good run happening here. Anyone else following this besides me? Seems to be gaining ground as the cannabis industry as a whole moves upwards.
Lesson learnt : I'm not smart enough to be day trading this stock.
Sold my stake at $3.40 thinking it had hit its peak. Took some nice profits but it hurt to watch it continue to climb to $4.20, especially since I've been following this since day 1. Back in now at $3.80 and I'm just going to let it ride. I'm thankful for the bought deal so I could get a piece of the rocket ship again. It's been a fun/crazy couple of years. GLTA!
Looks like you got your wish! $2.67 and climbing.
Not specific to CGC, but here is an article on CBD research to treat Schzophrenia.

Congrats TMEvans and all the other longs. I've appreciated your insight and DD over the past year. Finally we are seeing the return from being patient.
Lovin the VOLUME!
Well written article in my local paper this morning :

Congrats to all longs like me who have been here loading since the IPO. There have been many times I thought I was crazy but the long view paid off. Best purchase I made was at $1.60.
Looks like the volume is back up again, which is good for the SP. Yesterday was a weird day in an otherwise stellar week (in terms of volume and sp). Glad we're on the ladder up again today.
Don't know if I'm reading this right but it looks to me like 400k shares traded in the first 2 minutes. Wow. Volume does not seem to be our problem any more.
OMG I just lost my shit on that "doritos" comeback. Very funny Ms. Surfer.
Don't know if someone already mentioned this but there's some new swag on the Tweed Merchandise shop. For those of you who have been asking for a tshirt, they have one with the Tweed Logo now.
Tweed Merch Shop
TWD just broke through the average volume for the day, and it's 9:50AM.
Canadian dollar has been taking a beating against the USD because of the low price of oil. Interday USD/CDN doesn't look too bad, but maybe the TWJMF ticker doesn't account for currency fluctuations properly until the end of the trading day? Just guessing here.
Ouch
My take on his statement is that his "revenues" are higher. Revenues are the top line number, not taking into account his cost of production (or cost of goods sold in his case, as he is purchasing product for resale). It may well be that Bedrocan has more revenues, but he won't be able to touch the 70% margins that Tweed is talking about until they start growing their own. That's my take on what he said.
So I took the board's advice and placed a sale order at $4.20 (hehe) on all my TWD holdings, so that my shares can't be used to short the stock. Thanks for the advice. That's 25,000 shares that are locked in with the longs. Go TWD
Elections are scheduled for November 2015, not in 2 months. Just FYI.
Article in today's Globe and Mail ..

'Low barriers to entry'?? Requiring a licence from Health Canada, of which less than 20 have been issued isn't a high enough barrier?
Anyone else think that in the runup to the Fed election at this time next year that all Cannabis stocks will see a bump so long as the Liberals are in the lead? Might be a fun ride as opinion polls start coming out. Or do you think it will have minimal effect?
BTW I've blocked both Awesome and Green and my forum experience is *way* better.
Ya sorry, long time lurker.
Just called my insurance provider. MM *is* covered if prescribed by a licensed doctor and supplied by a Health Canada licensed grower. Go TWD!
CustomCare is our insurance provider at work. They are more liberal in what they cover, and I was pleasantly surprised about the MM.
Holding long on this one with 19,200 shares.
