OOohhh...name calling. That will fix the underlying fraud...no doubt.
Maybe it's his nickname for his new cellmate? #Dreams
Based on all the information on this site and a few other resources, given that I do not speak nor read Chinese, the best I can tell is that CCME was a going entity but was not turning any profit - instead was the money laundering entity for the Lin brothers. I may be way off base here though, it is just what I believe to be the case.
Ya, probably nothing to the whole renaming IDCN Sidewinder when Sidewinder happens to be the location of the mine of his...sorry, his nephew's other company. Pure coincidence. Nothing more. Wild blink luck.
Let's also keep in mind that regardless of who at CCME was behind the scam, certain individuals on this side of the pond greatly contributed to it's success. Even after they were halted I received several PM's about how there was first hand knowledge that PWC was in there, etc. etc. and that any day they fully expected to be vindicated. I for one did not buy based on what CCME said - I bought based on the interpretations and recommendations of others after reading what I believed to be sincere DD. I was wrong.
But had someone not attacked Terry with as much veracity as they defend Ken this would be trading and worth something...just sayin'.
And while based on the numbers the shares should climb, early indications today are that the party ended too soon.
FINRA approving a name change and the FBI and/or SEC investigating Ken Ash are not by any means mutually exclusive. Space, your argument is like trying to say DMV won't renew your driver's license if the IRS is investigating you for tax fraud. Trust me, government agencies are just not that tightly integrated. Your entire rationale for why there can be no investigation into Ash is completely off base.
Zima is a joke. Have received a half dozen replies from him none of which said anything. Left a VM on the other number, no return call yet. Not expecting one due to language barrier.
If you Google that address you will see that numerous businesses come up. My guess is that it is a registered agent, or something similar, and that the person that answers the phone there is nothing more than a message taker.
That said, I hope I am wrong and that someone can get some information. I intend to call tomorrow to find out.
$XIN - While noting is every certain, this is the only Chinese stock that has paid dividends that I actually received of the several I have invested in. Odd thing to do if they were a fraud...but hey, I was in CCME so what do I know?
It would appear that the party is over.
It would appear that the party is over.
Any guesses on when that $20M buyback may kick in, or is it along the same lines as the old CCME buyback?
Honestly with the pop over the last couple of days I expected it sooner. Given the continued volume and movement this clearly has not been written off. Lets see what happens...
$CNEP - Trading on decent volume again today, up 38% to $1.20. Never saw this coming. Was waiting for a small bounce to close my position...now the tough choice between greed and reason.
I love reading the great mining developments with PIPI. It's a rerun though. Go back like 3 years and read the same updates on Hockey Stick or Belle mines from the exact same guy. Oh, I know, I know, this time there is a permit someone paid for. Like I posted earlier though, permits are a matter of public record and should be on a web site or at the very least a phone call away to verify. So I am waiting to see this...
This is trading with much more volume/frequency than I would have guessed. Looks like a few at least still believe...or at least a few daytrader vultures playing the bounce. May get interesting here...but I will be totally shocked to ever see pre-halt prices again anytime soon.
Here is to hoping I am wrong.
Permits are public record, so please post a link to this one.
If you are looking to just make day trades, at this price it takes very little movement to make 5%+. As you noted, the difficulty will be in liquidity unless volume picks up. Obviously a very different mindset than my answer as a long term investor.
Best of Luck
I am assuming that it is an honest question, so here are some things to consider:
1) ANX has 3 drugs in trials and can absolutely one day be a rock star. Essentially the identical odds to completely fail. It is a huge risk, with a huge reward potential. That said, there will be no revenue stream for 3+ years. I explained this ad nauseam in a few previous posts.
And clearly the website was built by the same pathetic designer as the official IDCN site. Same templates, same use of ripped off images (though I like the Asguard from Star Gate).
Wait! Isnt this Space's well know address...???

So in your opinion current shareholders would retain their shares and they would be transferred to the Chinese exchange?
I agree that is certainly a possibility. My question was your original post seemed to state this in a positive light. I may be 100% wrong here, but it was my understanding that this process simply cancelled all existing shares and essentially IPO'd on the Chinese exchange. This wipes out all existing shareholders (not that they are far from that now...). Is this correct or do the shares get exchanged?
Not sure if they still do, but iHub used to do free users can PM on Fridays.
You may want to check your archived PM's. I have a dozen of them.
If they relist in China or Hong Kong and you have shares from when they were listed on an American exchange do you not still lose everything? Or do your US shares move over?
My very first bit of DD was actually a PM from YOU stating that you knew Ken and Jeff and that this was a great company. I still have the PM.
Makes the damn fuzziest rum and cokes I ever had too! My IQ has gone from 154 to 185, I have grown 3" in length, won the PowerBall and my 3 gray hairs turned back to brown. This thing is amazing!
Yes, Oxygen Orchid is 100% real. You can go to their web site and place your order and get your product RIGHT NOW. Have been for years. They have public reviews, articles, etc. Now, is it the next billion dollar thing? Probably not. It's a mom and pop shop that uses overseas manufacturing and hopes to get lucky on the right niche, or right exposure to make it big (something like a mention on Oprah, etc.). No idea what their numbers look like since they are not yet, never have been public and to my knowledge never disclosed.
Reality is if they made $10 it is $10 more than IDCN ever realized on it's bottom line. They have a real product - something IDCN never had. They are real people that will answer the phone and talk to you - something IDCN would never do unless you were in their inner circle of people taking advantage of the fraud.
The blatant abuse of his new position and violation of the court order may have been what caught the SEC's eye, but the years of complicit fraudulent public statements will be what the FBI focuses on. They could give a crap about a stock or SEC rules - they are interested in one thing and one thing only - did he commit fraud? They can look over as many different companies and situations as they need to - and they can look at anyone else that made a profit based on any information provided by Ken but not public. I have reason to believe this is about to get "real".
A) FINRA is not a law enforcement agency they are an administrative agency. If you fill out the right paperwork and pay the right fee you get the service. Why do you equate a FINRA approved name to clemency? Nothing could be less accurate.
B) Why do you continue to state that Jeff's sister being indicted means absolute guilt for Jeff, Jeff's wife even existing means absolute guilt for Jeff, but Ken appointing his nephew as a puppet CEO of his other stock is absolutely legit.
I would say the vast majority. I know of at least 16 (that have contacted me). Granted, there were hundred on record, so who really knows?
My experience as well
The simple fact it is on the gray market will prevent it, IMO, from ever seeing over $1 again. I say this because most brokers will let you close your position, but not take a new position. That makes buying very difficult.
