Probably just bag holders dumping.
There's nothing new with HFBG. It's dead and has been that way for a decade!
Waters
It is dead
New to this stock.
Looks like the number of outstanding shares has increased YoY.
Is their primary mechanism for raising more capital in the form of flooding the equity markets?
Are they diluting, heavily?
25M volume. How is this trading? Very strange.
How is this still trading?
Lol! The SEC finally caught up with Ross and his criminal friends.
Waters
They all belong in prison.
Waters
There was no partnership with US Foods or Red Robin.
Excess tea from the lone production run was sold off to discount retailer Big Lots.
That's the only place the tea was ever seen.
There were no major distribution partnerships, despite what the HFBG scam team claimed.
Waters
HFBG was a scam. It has been dead for years.
Waters
Is HFBG producing and shipping any products? No.
Are there any ongoing business activities associated with HFBG? No.
It is dead. Doesn’t even have a management team!
Waters
HFBG died about 8 years ago.
I witnessed it all unfold during that period on this board.
Waters
A fire will not be lit here, again.
Most of the people holding worthless HFBG shares would be millionaires right now if they’d invested that money in Bitcoin instead.
Waters
Looks like Mr. Calvin Thornton resides at
Calvin Thornton aka Ishmail Ross
3431 Fair Oaks Ave
Altadena, CA 91001
You can probably dump all your shares on his front lawn.
As a matter of fact, HFBG bagholders should all pay Calvin a visit to say hello!
I hear he’s very friendly!
Waters
Of course they’re not going to poke their heads out.
They took the money they raised via scam and ran.
HFBG has been around since 2009 or so. Before that, the same crew ran another scam called OG Nation.
So, yes, stock selling schemes since before 2008 = 10+ years!
Waters
This scam has been dead almost 10 years, now.
Calvin Thornton, Larry Johnson and the rest of the scam crew took the money and ran.
Not even sure why this forum is still active!
Waters
I tried the tea as well. It was a solid product and could have been successful.
Calvin, Larry and crew were more interested in scamming than they were interested in running a legitimate company.
That's the story of HFBG, unfortunately.
Waters
When they first released the tea, I gave it a try. It was actually a solid product and could have done well.
But, the leadership behind HFBG were a bunch of scammers, so the company failed.
Waters
Where is this volume coming from?
Waters
It had a few pumps, but never really had any real substance behind it.
Staged photos with Larry Johnson, fluff press releases, etc.
Waters
Larry Johnson is long gone.
Who is buying? And why are they buying?
There is no product!
Waters
Stay tuned for what?
This thing is dead.
Waters
HFBG has no product and is largely dead.
Not sure where this latest volume is coming from.
Nothing justifies it.
Waters
HFBG has no product.
Is Calvin Thornton in prison yet for the HFBG scam?
Waters
Just think: back in 2010 when HFBG was really pushing its scam, some innocent people were fleeced by Calvin Thornton and crew.
Some of those same investors could have invested a fraction of that money in Bitcoin at the time and would be multi-millionaires right now.
Waters.
Calvin Thornton should be in prison. That's a fact.
Calvin and friends stole a lot of money from innocent people.
He'll get his punishment eventually.
Waters
I think people have been trading.
Just not really a market of buyers and sellers at this point.
HFBG has no product, no story. Nothing.
Waters
You might just have to write those off as a loss at some point, if possible.
Waters
It was dead for a number of years.
Waters
He seemed like a good guy. He was a true believer in the company.
I hope everything works out for him.
Waters
Just think about all the people who threw money at HFBG from 2009 to when it folded.
If they'd invested that same money in bitcoin, they'd be filthy rich by now!
Waters
Doesn't Brady Godfrey own a ton of the shares?
Waters
I remember all the shady activity with Larry Johnson, Calvin and crew.
I'm simply commenting on the quality of the tea. It was actually pretty good.
I'm not sure where HFBG goes from here.
Waters
I agree that Calvin was nothing more than a con artist.
If HFBG still has rights to the tea, it should pursue production, again.
No major marketing needed.
Just get it on shelves. Even the discount store approach works.
The people who shop at those stores would be more likely to buy than those shopping at Whole Foods, Kroger, etc.
Waters
Not at all. That was no laughing matter.
What I was saying is that Calvin and friends were a bunch of charlatans. They are still a bunch of charlatans.
But, the company itself could have have a winner on its hands with the tea. I grabbed a bottle from a discount store.
The tea was actually pretty good.
It's a shame Calvin and crew wanted quick money as opposed to building a sustainable company.
Waters
That old HFBG crew was pure comedy!
They could have really had a solid, profitable company had they played their cards right.
Waters
LOL! Good one.
There was definitely crud at the top.
Let's see what happens this time.
Waters
I'd be interested to see if they revisit the tea idea.
High margin business if run the right way.
Waters
I doubt the same players are around.
It appears they are long gone.
