Miss your S-8 plays,
are you posting somewhere else?
I would ask myself: "What Would Jesus Do?"
And govern yourself accordingly.
I have had posts removed (way too many with no recourse) I have since cancelled my membership but I want a refund for the remainder who do I talk to I refuse to pay for the " privilage" of posting only to have on topic posts removed with no recourse
Interesting thoughts, I know of whom you speak, I see their copied posts on many boards. I stopped watching those boards, since I found nothing that I would be interested in trading, which are mainly pinkies, which I decided long ago after a couple of bad experiences to just forget them period. There are plenty of other options out there, but I must admit I was surprised to see these people pumping, when they should have been in jail.
Not only was your good buddy Greg given the Boot, I heard he was kicked unmercilessly until his urine was the saffron-yellow of a dialysis-patient going into renal failure.
You've got some nerve criticizing Management, after they went to such lengths to test out their new Boot on him:
Click Here: You can now find Greg operating the Tilt-a-Whirl at Joey's Traveling Carnival.
...you GO...my brother !!! :8^)
I could careless what mgmn't. does around here, because they do
very little at that.
They close their eyes on big issues; atack the little
guys around here on minor one's.
Mgmn't. closes their eyes when the big boys pump, but
when the less known guy does it...they end up in jail,
or get da boot for the samething the big boys do.
Many of long-timers or well known membermark
individuals are many of the culprits around here.
It's all about money-flow and subscribership.
If many of the big boys go...so do their following...thus,
lost revenues.
But, if you run a business ethically and professionally, that is, treating everyone the same no matter whom they're...
I-HUB would be a much better place, and business would
grow normally.
Mgmn't. needs to open their eyes.
The siesta needs to end.
Comprende?
Hey Matt...have U ever received an e-mail from a long time
subscriber that you were ready to boot, but accepted their
money as a paying member instead?
Would U call that selling out?
Taking money instead of making a right and ethical decision and
kicking their arse out for the better of I-HUB?
I know U have.
You have sold out.
Comprende Senor?
Joe
Wow, did I miss the memo?
A new loss prevention team in place? LMAO
or
A new form of wire tapping?
Geeze...It just gets better all the time.
:(
greg, I regret what has happened to you !
I hope that Matt will reconsider !
It really shouldn't have come down to this !
Sad indeed !!!

It's the same folks that always complain.
The good part is, the iHub faithful seem to like the idea, so I am going to do it.
They will be anonymous as you suggest. I will be the one dealing with complaints. Everything will appear as if I was the one who removed spam/etc.
There really shouldn't be any complaints about them, though. The more complicated stuff, me/dave will continue to deal with.

Matt corrected the above post after it was pointed out that Koikaze recommended the Patron Posse should not be anonymous:

They will be anonymous, at least for now. I will be the one dealing with complaints. Everything will appear as if I was the one who removed spam/etc.

EDIT
waterwisp, please feel free to contribute here.
I feel this is a very important topic, even if mgt. thinks our input is, to some degree, irrelevant.
(Edit) I notice the ticker symbol for the board has been removed (iHubSS) (which, BTW, stood for Secrecy in Site Administration. Assumptions can be a very dangerous thing in making admin actions).
...well said excel ! I completely agree !!!
Nice idea for the dedicated board, greg !
I don't have much else to add beyond what I've already said over on the Q&A Board :

----------------------------------
I'll be reading every word here.
Will be interesting to see people's thoughts about this.
That would certainly be a start.
I think they should start by booting current board moderators that abuse their authority. And there's a whole lot of 'em.....
excel,
re: People say oh but Matt or Grub will look at all deletions. Really?
I agree. If they don't have enough time to do their jobs now (and have to resort to the sleazy "anonymous member police force"), I seriously doubt they will have time to review all the deletions of their secret police.
Amazing that mgt. is too cheap to hire the needed resources.
I don't like it. What happens on the cult boards like RSMI?
I have no problem with them getting help.
We been asking them to do it for years.
Yet, fact remains secret people gives way to biased deletions.
If one has to be secret in order to carry out their job then one must have no conviction behind their actions if they are afraid of being questioned about what took place.
People say oh but Matt or Grub will look at all deletions. Really?
In a perfect world it happens.
This isn't no perfect world.
Lot of times I've had posts deleted that were restored.
Problem was they were restored long after everyone had read thread.
The restore lost it's use.
The site needs help but make it help that is accountable beyond Admins!
I'm on other forums with free help.
They all are VISABLE!
There is a reason for that!
o.k., again thanx. it does well and will get good messages here.
i do like the click to stuff. thank you. you always give good info.
Nah, mick, that's OK. This is an unmoduherated board.
greg i didn't read the ibox. delete my message if you want to.
No, Mick, nothing to do with secret society stuff. It has to do with Matt's plan to use unpaid volunteer administrators on the site (NOT board moderators, but rather people with some of the powers that Matt currently has for administering the site).
waterwisp and I are on record over at the Q&A board stating that we think this is a VERY bad idea. I thought it better to take this discussion to a dedicated board rather than continuing it on the Q&A board, lest I find myself a victim of moduheration
hi greg, i did the click to.
very interesting.
would this have anthing to do with the secret society stuff?
One question: When one secret admin moderates another secret admin, does anyone hear the sound?.
