Bojangles stock falls 5% after analysts unleash neutral ratings
Published: June 2, 2015 10:04 a.m. ET
Shares of Bojangles BOJA, -5.39% fell nearly 5% on Tuesday after a post-IPO quiet period lifted and analysts served up mediocre views on the restaurant chain. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs both initiated coverage at neutral. Bank of America set a $30 price target, while Goldman set the bar lower at $23. Barclays initiated coverage at equal weight and set a $27 target, while PiperJaffray set a neutral rating and $27 target. The analysts were mostly positive on the restaurant chain despite their middle-of-the-road ratings. Bank of America analyst Joseph Buckley said his rating reflected a positive view on Bojangles' outlook, tempered by the stock's high valuation. Jefferies was even more positive, initiating coverage at buy on a $32 target. Shares of Bojangles are up 40% from their IPO price of $19 a share. However, they've fallen 2.8% since their first day of trade on May 8 and traded down 4.5% to $26.83 recently.

Quiet period end 6-17-15
This is a 40+ stock sooner than later. Quiet period ending tomorrow. Woohoo. News will skyrocket this company. To where it should be priced.
Typical friday profit taking and absolutely nothing to be concerned about.
As noted in previous posts, look for positive analyst BUY/ACCUMULATE recommendations when the 'quiet period' for the company and underwriters ends in two weeks.
I think we're looking a a 'new' rocket to take off with BOJANGLES, given their outstanding fundamentals. Just look at the $70.00+ share price for Shake Shack, which doesn't begin to come anywhere close to the revenues and earnings of BOJA, nor have the menu appeal.
BOJA stock is clearly going to be a big winner.
We're sitting on a 'rocket' soon to really take off share price wise, somewhere between $35. to $50., based on so many factors including the BUY recommendations that will come in June from lead underwriters, Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo. Doesn't get much better than them.
Revenues are exploding and about 3 times that of Shake Shack which is trading at a dramatically higher share price, which clearly says to me, BOJANGLES is soon to explode share price wise because as sound and impressive fundamentals become known, as well as their incredibly appealing menu from breakfast served all day, which others are falling all over each other to expand in that niche food area.
After one does some due diligence, it becomes so obvious Bojangles is incredibly cheap, will explode price wise in June when the 'quiet period' ends, to somewhere between $35. to $50. a share and clearly continue upwards in 2016 given their revenues and exciting and new investment appeal. Mutual funds will be loading up and the retail trade will quickly follow.
Next month and as the year progresses, we'll look back on today's cheap share price with amazement. Time to BUY.
Absolutely.
More than just playing it, as BOJANGLES looks like a real winner to me. Fundamentals are very good. Business plan is great. As they expand revenues will soar.
This is definitely an area to be invested in, as one looks at all the success stories from Yum Yum to Chipoltes.
It's so new and with so much potential, it will be heavily accumulated by the mutual funds (herd instinct, etc.) and the retail trade as it becomes increasingly exciting investment and well known.
IMO, buy it while it's still very cheap.
Mmmm, spicy chicken sandwich combo w/seasons fries and sweet tea. Oh sorry.
Yeahh I've got etrade too..kinda prefer them tbh but do you know what the price was bojangles decided on?
Yeah, they aren't as good as etrade in getting allocations. I don't think I ever got an ipo through them when I used them in the past. Etrade has been very stingy lately. They get the ipo's but I haven't received an allocation since Facebook.
I have td ameritrade and no they weren't offering shares..
Where they offering shares? Which broker?
Woww, I guess that just shows the demand haha, I tried my broker too and wasn't able to do it..
Damn, was just going to post this:
Public Offering Order 300 BOJA.We were unable to allocate shares. Possible reasons: Offering priced above limit or high demand for shares.
It definitely wasn't because it was over my price limit. I had my order in well above where it priced.
Were you able to get any??
