Here we are 1 year later, and it seems FDR.V may have finally made a bottom on Feb. 5, 2016. We are now up nearly double from that bottom. Looking for a much better 2016! - glta
Somethings UP. And not just the stock price.
Maybe news coming soon?
ThyssenKrupp Metallurgical Products may purchase 20,000 - 50,000 tons of graphite from Flinders over a 10-year period.
This would represent 20-50% of Flinders total anticipated production over that time frame (initial estimates for production were 10,000 tons per year).
Flinders signs LOI with ThyssenKrupp Metallurgical Products ....

Flinders Open House coming up Sept. 17 -
Now everyone is waking up to it all of a sudden LOL. this may be the last dip to sub$ for a while IMHO
Consolidation again -
RSI still positive (>60%) as well as the PSAR ....
Dollarland means some mutual funds can start purchasing FLNXF/FDR.V -
As we all know, some funds are not allowed to purchase any stock under $1. So now I will be watching for "big" trades (>10,000 shares as an indication of fund buying.
- gl
I'm extremely "excited" about this stock -
FLNXF could be "keeper" for retirement even. Potential earnings of around $0.10/share seem quite doable (margin of $600/ton delivered). Even earnings of from $.15-.20/share do not seem impossible (margin of $800/ton with 13,000 tpy delivered).
- gl
the slow awakening mounts
imagine when the first contracts start after eval of the early product testing shipments
Interesting spike in last hour of trading -
Maybe some fund decided to add a graphite stock to their portfolio??
volume not huge but someone woke up

NEWS today:
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jul 14, 2014) - Flinders Resources Limited ("Flinders" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:FDR) provides an update on the final stages of work being completed to restart graphite production from the Woxna mine and processing facility in central Sweden. Woxna is a fully permitted brownfields graphite mine, having been on care and maintenance since 2001. The plant refurbishment is on track for recommencement of operations and production this month.
Key progress milestones over the last month include:
All ordered equipment is on site and installed;
Crushing campaign of the feed stockpile is complete;
Wet commissioning of the processing plant is underway;
Tailings dam civil works are substantially complete;
Instrumentation and process controls is substantially complete;
Site lab facility is installed and nearing completion.
Blair Way, President & CEO states, "Wet commissioning of the processing plant is progressing to plan, with the commencement of operations and production on track for this month. This re-start of production will place Flinders at the forefront of the graphite sector, with the ability to fill consumer needs and provide a sustainable European alternative to Chinese supply."
Production could come any day now -
(company said "sometime" in July, but no specific date given)
No real "surprise" for those following this company, but announcement should create "some" interest and possibly a nice share price increase.
Looking forward to it anyway.
- glta
Then comes sales and PROFITS!!
Very volatile the past few weeks -
(probably some pre-positioning before the big announcement?)
Grand re-opening next month!
This is what I have been waiting for ever since I began accumulating shares in Flinders last year. Let us hope this will be the start of even greater things to come in the future!
Btw, depending on how much of their highest grade graphite they are able to sell, I see the potential for a stock price of $3-5 per share 2 or 3 years down the road.
-glta
glad they stick to what they know. over time, I think we're gonna be very happy with our investment here. will continue to add on dips, as funds allow. Lo and behold, a graphite company that actually produces & sells graphite, not just shares & dreams, as most of the others...
"FDR.V/TAS Mutually Agree to End Merger Negotiations"

Best you will do now is 60's if you can get them ....
Oh boy. no more low 50s, I guess.
News: "Flotation cells installed ..."
Flinders' President & CEO, Blair Way, said: "The flotation cells are the backbone of the plant and their installation is the final key component for the finalization of the refurbishment project. Additionally, we have benefited from sourcing unused, but second-hand equipment at a cost much less than budgeted for in our initial estimates. We remain on schedule for a July restart to production."
institutional money pouring in?? thought I had some more time to accumulate quietly...
FLNXF up 20% now - huge volume so far ....
No news yet -
But something appears ready to break!
(I'm looking at $.73 Bid and $.75 Ask right now on Scottrade!!)
FLNXF (Flinders) getting hot today!
Up about 10% so far today ....
me too. I like this one the best of all the graphite stocks. thanks for your posts! Cheers!
Just a hunch, but I believe low 50's may be gone forever for Flinders.
As we move into late May or early June traders may begin to accumulate this stock as anticipation grows towards the re-start of their mining operations in July.
On the other hand, maybe this stock is too far under the radar and too unknown for any kind of "anticipation" run up to occur. In the meantime, I will continue to nibble in the 50's as long as I can.
- gltu
ssshh... quiet. not done loading yet. gosh I had to fight today for those low 50s...(FLNXF)
Finally getting a chance to add in the low 50's ....
just getting started
I'm done buying for now -
But might add a bit more IF FLNXF (FDR.V) pulls back into the low to mid 50's.
- glta
thanks, appreciate! Northern Graphite is my other advanced graphite company, trading in the same range, but not as close to production.
Run-up on anticipation of production restart imo -
I've been waiting for a pullback also to add more shares, but I may just have to add in the 60's. I'm expecting a "bounce" up to $1 or so when re-start is announced. So you can still make a nice trade buying all the way up to about 70 ($.70 to $1 yields about a 40% gain). jmo
-glty
have you been able to dig up something?
run up prior to restart of production? rumors of an offtake agreement? I have been waiting for a pullback for a good entry point, but hasn't happened yet :(
Flinders Commissions Rod Mill at Woxna -
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/flinders-commissions-rod-mill-woxna-124500349.html
Despite the HUGE run-up on Thurs, FLNXF held gains very nicely on Fri.
Technically, I don't see any pullback/consolidation much below $.50 occurring.
- glta
Large flake graphite prices stabilizing -
At least according to the article at the link below:
http://www.indmin.com/Article/3313944/Graphite/Large-flake-graphite-prices-settle-at-new-equilibrium.html
Not sure why the big move today -
however, other graphite stocks that I have checked are also showing strong gains today. Something seems to be going on with the graphite market. I'll try and do some dd later today.
