What is plan B? If the goverment doesn’t finance this piece of crap turd the gig is over. Only the gang of four made out like lottery winner bandits at cultists expence.
The US government has been talking about doing something about China’s monopoly on rare earths since China pulled their crap back in 2011. It’s ridiculous how these damn politicians do nothing except talk about doing something, but never do anything!!!

They as in EXIM in section 5 describing all the stuff we need to do. Hope that money is on the way because the CEO's bar tab money isn't going to cut it even past the obligations we already have.
Tiny Dancer ?
I use to Dance thinking my holdings, would make me rich. Now I just feel Tiny
My holding are making Mark’s friends Rich.
No name was mentioned, what are you talking about?
What light are you seeing? There's gonna be crickets after this 9/26 exim meeting. They already shit all over this project and it's in the 10-k. If at all possible we can get enough money to satisfy their needs to maybe proceed with the transaction.... if at all possible.... everything contingent on additional funding to proceed with that work.
Thank you
Even more light to see instead of default as the "tiny dancer" trying to tell since months
ge: Thanks for posting this helpful information. I also like Jim Sims' comment that he has echoed with me multiple times near the end of the response:
World’s first niobium-based heavy-duty battery packs 50% more energy, 10,000+ cycles
Everything is contingent on that pesky funding. Not looking good on that front. $2M CEO boondoggle then what?
Monocle- YES!! I, and probably scores of other investors are SHOCKED and APPALED that a year and a half into the EXIM financing negotiations, NB MGMT is STILL Unclear about what EXIM requires to approve the loan!! Talk about MOVING THE G.D. GOAL POSTS!!! and talk about THE TAIL WAGGING THE DOG!! this crew never fails to amaze me with the stories they want us to believe! staggering..... they are being bamboozled by every group they deal with, (i.e., GX, EXIM, former 'phantom'competitive-tension financing entities....!!!! Lots of smoke and mirrors on this one...... and the beat goes on and on and on........ ad nauseum....
NCT
Nice, looks like EXIM is handing out letters of interest like the people in Las Vegas handing out escort cards on the strip.
They get us in the door and then upcharge us. Oh, you need to pay $10-15 million to do additional drilling before you can go any further before we can close on this transaction.
The EXIM loan and the Stellantis deal have proven to be another joke on shareholders. Just like the GXII deal, Mark screws us again, but we want to believe he’s an honest man.
Aside from failing to identify sources, the timing of when things were actually said, and not "checking with company," what's wrong with the facts and quotes in the article? The information was obviously taken from publicly available information on NioCorp's website including the 2023 report and
https://www.niocorp.com/niocorps-elk-creek-project-confirmed-as-the-second-largest-indicated-or-better-rare-earth-resource-in-the-u-s/
There may be other pages, I haven't scrutinized it line by line. It also says the ultimate costs may be higher. I'm not saying it's the best written article I ever read, and I'm not saying I'm not still 100% supportive of the project, but I'm not seeing trash and disinformation either (in the article or the post).
Gman as I stated in my post "we all appreciate your DD", the problem is with the article....EOM
This publication did not check with us on these issues prior to publication of this article, which is often the case with internet-based articles like this.
Completely incorrect. Even the railveyor admitted that the economics were unproven in this case with the water issues. Just a 10,000 post dreamer who for some reason has ignored facts for over a decade and seriously degraded his retirement by being blind to facts.
Realistically if it doesn’t matter whether or not the feasibility study is full and complete then that should just get us to a decision by EXIM more quickly.
Don’t forget our entire project has changed with RailVeyor. But the obvious advantages of RailVeyor outweigh the lengthiness of the process.
The important stuff should be known already, with the REE and Commercial Scale Plant results .
Put it to work.
Shrug

Please feel free to call out any other inaccuracies from my posts. As I'm not in the habit or business of posting inaccurate or misleading information (and actually go to great lengths to ensure that), I would much rather have the correct information out there, both as an investor and as someone who believes that honesty is the best policy. In other news, Jim knows who I am and how to reach me, so if he ever has any concerns about my posts, he too is absolutely welcome to let me know..
Indirectly related to Niocorp as relating to EXIM issuing Letters of Interest to REE projects:

Big Al
WTF is wrong with a full FS? This sad joke just gets worse and worse. A partial FS might be okay for EXIM? Well, what parts get left out? Matheson’s fantasy now non-arms length scandium inputs? Totally pathetic on every front.
Relative to whether the DD is accurate, I post what I find for informational purposes and make no assertions regarding validity. That's why I post the source and link. Everyone should continue with their own DD to their level of comfort. That being said, I did a little checking based on your post, and here are some facts:
It would appear the source of that information the author used in the article is the none other than the NioCorp 2023 Year in Review, Progress Positions NioCorp for Historic Advancements in 2024, dated 1/11/2024.
https://www.niocorp.com/niocorp-issues-2023-year-in-review-report/
Here's the quote from Mark from the report:
Thanks for posting. Are you surprised that Niocorp doesn't know yet what information exom needs after all this time?
NorCal Tommy, we all appreciate Gman's DD, but it is not always accurate. I asked Jim about this article, might not be exactly what we want to hear, but it is accurate-see below.
Thanks Jim...appreciate your reply!!

Portions of the work required to update the FS are now completed, others are expected to be completed in 2024/2025, but all of this work, and the expected timing of completion, is contingent upon additional funding. As that funding is secured, we will notify the market in widely disseminated news releases. Additionally, we are in the midst of discussions with EXIM as to what FS-level data will be required for our loan processing, and what will not be required. That is an ongoing discussion. We will report to the market specifics on the progress we are making once determinations are made with our prospective lenders and investors.
Thx for reaching out to check on this rather than rely on the trash and disinformation that is posted on anonymous internet message boards.

Jim,
The article that came out today states the FS to be completed later this year....is this correct?
The EXIM loan would cover about two-thirds of the $1.2 billion currently estimated cost to develop Elk Creek. The total costs, however, will likely be higher with the completion of an updated feasibility study for Elk Creek that includes the recovery of rare earths, which is expected later this year.

Thanks G$money!
Whatever makes you happy!
Hi Gman- I'm trying to remember when Mark said that 2024 promises to be a momentous year.... was that part of a PR?
thanks! NCT aka (AR)- Always Realistic
Maybe I should add 2024 to the list? It is a year old and probably needs updating: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=172676600
Any forward movement from EXIM, Congress, or any other agency into pushing funding and support for domestic critical mineral projects and supply chain security is good for NioCorp simply because it's not bad. Maybe there's more behind the bush? As far as anyone knows, everything is still in play and remains that way until it's not. There are always those who will see only darkness at every turn. Mark predicted in January that 2024 could be a watershed year, and a couple of weeks ago said that 2024 promises to be a momentous year. He's got 98 more days to make his predictions reality.

Google AI Response to CTEP Request
A "CTEP Request for a Non-Binding Resolution in Support of Critical Minerals and Rare Earth Elements Financings" would essentially be a formal proposal from the China and Transformational Exports Program (CTEP) of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, asking for a non-binding statement of support from relevant stakeholders to prioritize and facilitate financing for projects related to the development and extraction of critical minerals and rare earth elements, particularly when competing against Chinese companies in the global market.
Key points about this request:
Focus on Critical Minerals:
This resolution would specifically highlight the need to support projects focused on mining, refining, and processing of critical minerals like lithium, cobalt, graphite, and rare earth elements, which are essential for various technological applications including clean energy technologies.
Addressing Chinese Competition:
The CTEP is designed to help American companies compete against Chinese firms in export markets, so this resolution would aim to leverage the program's financing tools to ensure U.S. companies can secure critical mineral projects globally.
Non-Binding Nature:
While signifying support for these projects, the "non-binding" aspect means that the resolution would not legally obligate any party to take specific actions, but rather serve as a signal of intent and policy direction.
Potential benefits of such a resolution:
Policy Signal:
Could encourage other government agencies and private investors to prioritize critical minerals projects.
Market Confidence:
May attract more investment towards U.S.-based critical mineral development by demonstrating government support.
Supply Chain Resilience:
Could help secure domestic access to critical minerals, reducing reliance on foreign imports, particularly from China.
Important considerations:
Environmental Impact:
The resolution could need to address potential environmental concerns related to mining and processing of critical minerals.
Sustainability Standards:
May need to include provisions for responsible sourcing and adherence to high environmental and social standards in mining operations.
International Cooperation:
Could encourage collaboration with other countries to address the global critical minerals challenge.

Dealteam Barnet…… is he/she connected with Niocorp?
Apparently none as per the annual report:
“The PPL identified additional project activities to be undertaken by the Company in conjunction with the EXIM evaluation process. These include an updated mine plan and updated Elk Creek Project capital costs on a final or close-to-final basis reflecting updated process flows. Management is working with EXIM to continue to advance the project through the next stages of EXIM’s due diligence and loan application process. We are currently unable to estimate how long the application process may take, and there can be no assurances that we will be able to successfully negotiate a final commitment of debt financing from EXIM.”

Mark lent the money and used the resource (ore body and land) as collateral to pay their wages and bonuses.
Can you imagine going into Nebraska and getting overwhelming support for your project, collecting millions upon millions from those local supporters. Then turn around and take away 90% of their equity (1 for 10 reverse split) in the company and giving up 30% of the company to some people who sacrificed NOTHING. Mark Smith and his crew, WTF!!!
I am getting more and more concerned about how they're going to get the money to pay $100k in bonus money to MS plus the extra few hundred thousand to pay the rest of the crooks their bonuses.
If nobody wants it, it's worthless. I'm not so sure anyone wants to mess with the ore body. It sure doesn't seem like it. I hope you are right.
It is not possible to force the issue. They do not give a shit and retail has no power and if retail did, they/we would not be able to put enough power together to do anything with it.
That won’t happen IMO.
Yes he could destroy all of our holdings like he has been already(giving it away), but he can never destroy what’s in the ground. That will be sold.
Every transaction is a secret, and then we lose money. Lol
It’s almost time to force the issue.
We don't disagree. That's what I was getting at. Now my question is what keeps the bankruptcy news release away? They are still making big plans about what they plan to do later but with zero money right now. We could have been in production by 2016, and now what keeps us out of bankruptcy with not even the foundation poured? Not looking good. Lightning has to strike out of nowhere because nothing is expected.
I guess we will agree to disagree.
Instead of being at Largo making him and Walter rich, he should’ve been at NioCorp drilling for REE’s and making our project suitable for financing.
Instead of IBC , he could have bought RARE EARTH SALTS Nebraska for a song.
Instead of TechMet and US vanadium, Try making our ORE attractive to finance.
He wasted 10 years looking after other companies while wasting away our investment, and in my opinion he new all along, nothing was going to happen. And so did Scott and Jim.
Why else didn’t they own shares in our going concern, If they thought financing was imminent?
Easy money or fools gold.
And we still have no idea about our project. It’s like we’ve gone back to 2012. The entire project has changed.
And don’t even get me started on his investments in LWLG and and selling off Quantum’s REE Assets in Saskatchewan and Australia.
I guess the annual lays it clear. EXIM wants to know total project cost. And likely who will make up the rest.
“The PPL identified additional project activities to be undertaken by the Company in conjunction with the EXIM evaluation process. These include an updated mine plan and updated Elk Creek Project capital costs on a final or close-to-final basis reflecting updated process flows. What a f’ing joke. This has been a joke from day 1 except for the gang of four who converted millions of fish money into their money.
Yes I realize that, and it means jack shit. He can have have all the chairs he wants and it's not helping this broke ass company. At least not in all this time it hasn't yet. How many chairs will he have if this tanks? IBC isn't pretty either. Wouldn't look like much of a consultant or advisor after this nosedive.
Lol everyone says do some DD. It won't do shit for the company or even make you feel better, it will just make you wonder why we are still completely broke after "connecting dots" 🤣

NioCorp Developments Ltd. is a U.S.-based mineral development company focused on developing several superalloy metals from the proposed Elk Creek, Nebraska Critical Minerals Mine. NioCorp plans to produce three commercial mineral products — Niobium, Scandium, and Titanium — from a single ore body in the Midwestern United States. NioCorp's Elk Creek Project is highly unique. It is North America's only niobium / scandium / titanium project. It is the highest grade niobium project in North America. It is one of the largest prospective producers of scandium in the world. Once in production, it will initiate the first production in the U.S. in decades of Niobium and Scandium. All three of the Project's proposed superalloy metals have been designed as "Critical Minerals" by the U.S. Government.
NioCorp is a publicly company that is listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "NB" and on the U.S.-based OTCQX exchange under the symbol "NIOBF." Shares are also traded on the Frankfurt Exchange, under the ticker symbol "BR3."

Overview of the Elk Creek Project: http://www.niocorp.com/elk-creek-project/
U.S. Geological Society description of Elk Creek Carbonatite
"The Elk Creek carbonatite, located south of Lincoln, has the potential to be one of the largest global resources of niobium and rare-earth elements (REE). These REE's have many important applications in industry, including petroleum-cracking catalysis, steel alloying, and glass polishing, and as sources of permanent magnets and phosphorus for television and lighting.
The Elk Creek carbonatite is buried beneath about 500 feet of overlying rock and is known only from drill cores, which, until recently, have remained proprietary. Scientists from the USGS and the Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln have studied drill cores."

About NioCorp
NioCorp is developing a superalloy materials project in Southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium, and titanium. Niobium is used to produce superalloys as well as High Strength, Low Alloy ("HSLA") steel, which is a lighter, stronger steel used in automotive, structural, and pipeline applications. Scandium can be combined with Aluminum to make super-high-performance alloys with increased strength and improved corrosion resistance. Scandium also is a critical component of advanced solid oxide fuel cells. Titanium is used in various superalloys and has extensive uses in aerospace, defense, transportation, medical, and other applications. It also is a key component of pigments used in paper, paint and plastics.
