Time to buy, buy, buy ....this stock is on the move with Sebastian Pinera getting back in office, copper is going to rebound and restrictions loosened
Looks like Amerigo has been rather responsive as of the past months? We may buy a few shares in the not too distant future.
Nice bump after new year. 28.8 cents. Would like to see plus 30 in the next few weeks. I expect it to continue.
I am seeing significant upside here. Let's keep in mind that companies such as Stock Pickers Digest just picked this stock for it's mailed release. That is fairly big news and, to me, it means that we will see more price action here over the next thirty days.
i believe this one will keep going.
i see this moving in right direction
Yeah, very surprised it didn't move much higher. Maybe tomorrow?
I imagine it was somewhat expected (at some point) but I am surprised there wasn't a bigger reaction to the stock. From the last call it seemed likely they would do the financing via debt and a local bank.
Huge News Today!
Hopefully RAREF and TSE:ARG will fly high on this. They halted trading on this today.
Big volume day most within the last 40 minutes of trading. 123,000 shares plus. Outlook looks good.
Quite a lot of volume the past few days too! I didn't see any news/filings though Copper prices are better than a few months ago.
Liking the news and looks for ARREF. We had some a few years ago. With the potential growth plans, if the copper prices hold up, and the electric costs can be contained, I think we may buy a few shares again in the not to distant future? It currently is paying at an annualized rate a dividend of more than 4.9%. Not bad while you wait for growth.
I'm not so sure having my fistful of shared could be constituted as being "lucky". Still waiting for this one to evolve, but growing impatient.
Hi Optimus203: Hope you were lucky enough to have a fistfull of ARREF since your last post. I can't believe how a company with all these assets and prospects is so ignored. I'm going to try to get a few shares on Monday. GL

* ARG is a dividend paying stock, which is not so common among Canadian mining companies. Only one week ago, Amerigo announced a semi-annual dividend of $0.02 per share, payable on May 5, 2011. Stockholders should be pleased!
Will we ever see the dividends that TSE:ARG gets?
Need to start seeing some more action here.
Record Q1 2011 Production Results
Amerigo Resources Ltd. ("Amerigo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce production results for the first quarter of 2011 from Minera Valle Central ("MVC"), the Company's operations located near Rancagua, Chile. MVC produced 11.14 million pounds of copper and 212,125 pounds of molybdenum during the three months ended March 31, 2011.
Say this recently too. Trying to get in with a small position today.
They seem to have a very nice niche that should be profitable as long as copper prices don't fall off a cliff, and energy /power prices don't escalate too high. My opinion only...
Yes Lebed is pumping the stock.
Nevertheless, Amerigo is profitable and pays a 3% cash dividend.
What's the risk?
