He surely didn't let the clowns tame the lions.

tried that...no effect
should we tos fattmatt for multiple identities? lol
I was pissed off and I told him that after I got his pitch. I asked him if he had kids and he said yes and he said thanks for my vantage point and he would not be doing that angle again. Maybe you should check that charity. Actually, so will I.
Spam: Tricks to extract information
http://jcoppens.com/misc/spam/tricks/index.en.php
In a violently commercial world, information is one of the most prices commodities. And of that information, personal information may be the most invaluable, because it enables sellers to target you, analyze your habits, and, generally exploit you. e-Mail addresses are the first step in the process of contacting you... mainly because it's the cheapest way available today. Nigerian spams would never have the success they have if the spammers had to call by telephone.
Here are a few of the tricks I detected in e-mails received, just to show you how (un)safe you are.
The remote image trick: http://jcoppens.com/misc/spam/tricks/trick1.en.php
Images in e-mail are nice, but you should always suspect them, particularly if opening the e-mail causes activity on the internet link (though by then it can be too late).

I believe you. I definitely thought the approach was odd.
Were you just pissed off when you read it? Like he was trying to make money off sick kids?
I wondered out loud here if the charity is even a real one (I can check that)
no joke call them up
No joke? Wow. I thought it was unusual. I wondered where he got his email list.
I tried to run the domain name through a whois, and I got absolutely nothing, so I figured it was just another one of those bogus web sites, too.

80/20 and he will ask for your ssn upon agreement haha
I just had it out with Mike, Cappy after reading that. I was masquerading as a contributor and they offered 1400 calls for a 2k donation at a price of 35$ a call for my "company" which comes out of CDRF's end which = 49k scamdalam
I told him I thought it was disgusting standing on the shoulders of sick kids to make their money. We talked for an hour and he said he would not be sending out any more emails using that approach. Prolly pure bs and I also said provide transperancy regarding their end. We shall see.
either it's 50/50 or NO DEAL!!!
Dear Friend,
I am Mr. Alexander Flockhart Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Hang Seng Bank Ltd.I have a Secured business suggestion for you.
Before the U.S and Iraqi war our client Col. Hosam Hassan who was with the Iraqi forces and also business man made a numbered fixed deposit for 18 calendar months, with a value of Thirty million United State Dollars only in my branch. Upon maturity several notices was sent to him, even during the war early this year. Again after the war another
notification was sent and still no response came from him. We later find out that Col. Hosam Hassan along with his wife and only daughter had been killed during the war in a bomb blast that hit their home. What bothers me most is that according to the laws of my country at the expiration 4 years the funds will revert to the ownership of the Hong Kong Government if nobody applies to claim the funds.
Against this backdrop, my suggestion to you is that I will like you as a foreigner to stand as the next of kin to Col. Hosam Hassan so that you will be able to receive his funds.I have contacted an attorney that will prepare the necessary document that will back you up as the next of kin to Col.Hosam Hassan. There is no risk involved at all in the matter as we are going to adopt a legalized method and the attorney will prepare all the necessary documents.
Please endeavor to observe utmost discretion in all matters concerning this issue.Once the funds have been transferred to your nominated bank account we shall share in the ratio of 60% for me, 40% for you, Should you be interested please send me information,s below,
1. Full names and Age
2. Private phone number
3. Current residential address.
And finally after that I shall provide you with more details on this transaction. Your earliest response to this letter will be highly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Alexander.A.Flockhart
SPAM is SPAM...garbage
This spam email is not like others I have received.
My addy must be in the BCC area; the person he sent it to is a co-worker?
I would go check this charity out on Guidestar.org, but I'm not interested in the offer. But it's definitely a first for me.
Imagine the possibilities: "stock boiler rooms for cancer" lol

Subject: Contract Telemarketing Services
Need A Contract Telemarketer? We Need your Support!
○ Surveys ○Polling ○Appointment Setting ○Lead Generation
○ Business to Business ○ Business to Consumer ○Detailed Reporting
When You Support the Childhood Disease Research Foundation we WORK FOR YOU!
Dear Friend,
Please allow me to introduce myself, and my firm E Timed Solutions. Our firm’s services have been retained as a paid professional fundraiser to help the Childhood Disease Research Foundation and their scientists to research any and all types of childhood diseases in hopes of developing more effective treatments and discovering cures for those illnesses.
My name is Mike Cynar, President and Founder of ETS, and I promise that this approach of requesting your support is far different than what you may be accustomed to. You see sir/mam, I believe that if we are going to ask you for something, then we should be willing to do something for you. Each year, billions of dollars are donated to wonderful charitable organizations, and while the donors naturally feel great about giving to these fine charities, they rarely receive much more than a thank you. Friend, it’s time for a change. I have been in business for many years and as such I have been solicited for many charitable gifts, and today I hope to begin a new trend that will ultimately change the way people solicit donations. Our office is staffed with professional men and woman that are highly trained for both business to business calls and outbound sales. Their skills range from mortgage sales to newspaper/internet advertising and such they are far more effective at getting your message out than the typical telemarketing firm. I would like to take their skills and training and, in return for your charitable donation, put them to WORK FOR YOU.
If your business has a need for a contract telemarketer, let us help you while you help CDRF. Our services, while not limited to, will include lead generation, appointment setting, polling or surveying. We can provide or create specialty (limitations apply) business lists with no fee. Specialty consumer lists are also available for a nominal fee.
Detailed reports are also provided in and Excel spreadsheet disclosing the number of calls made, telephone number dialed, date, and result.
Below I have outlined the number of *calls that we will make on your behalf in return of your generous gift.
Donation Calls Made On Behalf Of Your Company
$2,000 1,400
$1,000 600
$500 275
$250 100
*Definition of a “call”:
A contact made with the Decision maker.
3 attempts to reach a decision maker. Includes busy, answering machines, no answer or not available.
Note: A disconnected telephone number is not counted unless the number is provided by merchant.
Quotes based on average call duration of 3 minutes.

Emerging Stock Bulletin:
NASDAQ OTC BB: SGLS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SGLS was trading at .0151 Thursday, Nov 10 and closed Monday Nov 14 at .0239 for a percentage gain of over 55% on NO news and extremely high volume. Why? Most often when a stock moves like this it's because of the expectation of excellent news. And that is precisely what we anticipate. Might SGLS soon be announcing a merger/acquisition or possibly a major client? That we don't know. But we are hearing very strong rumors that news could be emanating by the end of this week or early next week, and that additional news might quickly follow. THIS is the time to give strong consideration to investing in SGLS. SGLS has the potential to double or triple from these current prices.
