Product Overview
RES Systems™ specializes in a full range of DC to DC Solar Powered Systems to assist telecommunication companies in reducing energy costs, carbon foot print, and also act as a primary and back up power source.
Problem - Solar Power Management: All Telecom equipment runs off of DC current and must be constant. There must be no spikes and dips in the voltage. The suns energy fluctuates in power thereby not being a good source of renewable power for the telecom industry. Until now!!!!
Solution - The Razor Series™: The RES Systems Razor Series™ is a renewable energy DC to DC power converter that utilizes the power produced from the photovoltaic array and delivers compatible power directly into the client's power management system without inversion, thus greatly improving the efficiency.
The Razor Series™ solution has been designed to support the following industries,telecommunications, commercial manufacturing,government institutions, and municipalities just to name a few.
The Razor Series™ system becomes the primary source of power during daylight hours and remains usable during, and after, natural disasters or acts of terrorism. The solution can be customized to suit all types of international voltage ranges, certifications, and comes equipped with the ability to expand for use at night during these crucial times.
The Razor Series™ system monitors all existing electrical specifications and uses state of the art dual maximum power point technology to coexist harmoniously within the power management system. Its introduction at sunrise, and its retreat at sunset, are transparent to co-existing equipment and affect the client's power system.
Many power management systems have temperature compensation devices that increase and decrease the systems inner temperature to lengthen the life of electrical component and prevent thermal runaway. The Razor Series recognizes this process and, utilizing the developed technology, "moves" with the system to constantly provide maximum power without interfering with the capability or functions of the existing system to protect itself. The RES Systems™ Razor Series DC-converter™ is a redundant DC power source that offsets critical loads during daylight hours. The Razor Series™ generates power once the first ray of sunlight hits the solar panels and lasts until the last ray of sunlight of the day. (Unlike conventional solar systems). This process extends the period of power from sunrise to sunset reducing the need for the utility grid's power. Our Razor Series™ converter lowers electric costs and increase ROI. The Razor Series™ converter controls the constant fluctuation of voltage from the solar array, flawlessly.
Our Razor Series™ DC-converter supplies solar power directly to the power management cabinets which offsets the DC load provided by the utility grid. This process is accomplished WITHOUT the need for an additional inverter so that if the grid goes down the power management cabinets are still receiving power.
Many cell site power management cabinets have temperature compensations devices that increase or decrease the cabinets inner teamperature. This helps to lengthen the life of fragile telecom instruments, and to also prevent thermal runway. Our Razor Series™ DC-converter recognizes this process and using the developed technology, moves with the system to constantly provide maximum power without interfering with the capability of the existing equipment.

- Initiating Phase: With the client, we develop the goals, objectives, assumptions and constraints in your project. Based on the goals, we assemble a team that will establish the expectations and scope of the project. Examples:
- Offsetting diesel/oil usage to lower its operational expenses and its harm to the environment.
- Identify markets where the traditional power supply is unavailable and costly to accommodate.
- Planning Phase: RES Systems™ will identify the tasks necessary to meet the client's goals in order to complete the project on time and within budget.
- The RES Systems Configuration Questionnaire
- Site Surveys to eliminate unforeseen discrepancies and/or confirm what location(s) are to be included in the execution phase.
- Project Management timelines with Gantt or PERT charts that include tasks, responsibilities, and budget and deadlines.
- Scope of Works (SOW) and/or Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS)
- Executing Phase: RES Systems™ will coordinate the people and recourses to execute all tasks performed. We will delegate, reassign, and resolve any conflicts that occur.
