Sorry I've been MIA. I closed Glory Trades. I can restart it when/if I am sure I will have the time to devote to it that subscribers deserve.
I just received an e-mail saying that Gloe no longer wants to support the system from Collective2.
Have no idea what up with that -
Has anyone heard from Gloe? Appears to be MIA. Hopefully she is OK.
g u ok? hope all is well.
How often do you trade in a month?
How many trade this month?
TIA.
Is Glory Trades IRA compatible? I am thinking about auto trading IRA.
HI Magon, when I short, I will use the inverse ETFs.

Hello Gloe,
I believe some body asked a question about the "Buy and Sell" signals, but my question is related to if Glory trades can be used on IRA accounts (No margin and no short possitions on IRAs)so far all the entries have been long possitions as far as I can see.
thanks,
Mario
Gloe
Thanks - Much Appreciated.
Here's one source that has intra-day numbers on market breadth, though you have to manually update it.
http://finance.yahoo.com/marketupdate Look on the left side for market statistics for advancing and declining issues and volume.
Right now its showing Friday ended at 10:1 Up volume to down volume. Close to that for A/D issues. That's pretty bullish. But now we need follow through.
I like A/D Issues ratio to be above 1.2 for a bullish bias, and below .8 for a bearish bias. 1 is neutral (same number of stocks going up as down). Over 2 is very bullish and under .5 is very bearish. Really extreme days tend to close on the highs (like Friday) or lows.
My broker used to have A/D intraday that I could feed into my charts, but their A/D has been down for a while, so I have to approximate the ratio by using yahoo finance. Just glance at it and you can tell we are having an extreme day that shold not be traded against.
Gloe
What intraday indicators do you use to assess the breadth of the market and what levels do you determine is good for the Bears and Bulls. I'm using stockcharts.com and all I see are Daily breadth indicators.
Thanks
Jake
Just saw this. I had a short experience with Options express as, they were, at the time and I think still are, the only broker that you could use where you didn't have to leave your computer on during hours to auto-trade. Two problems I had was the expense of their commisions and beware that whenever you start the system it will enter whatever trades are currently running in mid trade. I thought, erroneously, that it would start on the next entry.
nice call
I have autotraded with C2 previously, you just specify your exposure and they do the rest. If Gloe enters a stop then a stop is placed in your account etc...
I don't know how it works. YOu should read the info at C2 or e-mail them. I don't think you have to include a stop. But I think that if I put in a stop, then it will be put in your account, too.
anyone have any experience with auto trade?
do you have to specify a stop when autotrade is on?
just wondering if you know how it works.
thanks
I'm all for that! and thanks!
g
i signed up. let's make some money.
No problem. You have a right to know that I can protect your money.
g
thanks gloe for a very detailed answer.
Thanks, and good luck to us all.
P.S. Hey, what's LUCK got to do with it?
Thanks, and to answer your question:
Well . . . I WILL post the signals on the private forum at C2 and "broadcast" them using C2's alert system. If I am alive and well enough to be watching the charts to see the signals, then I will post and "broadcast" them.
If I am deathly sick or in the hospital, and have no access to a computer, I will have my helper post and "broadcast" to members that I am unavailable and they should close all currently open trades if they feel they cannot manage the trade themselves. But usually, we will have stops and will move the stops as the trades move in our favor, so there shouldn't be any problems if I am unavailable with no computer access for a short period of time.
I have back-up computers at home, as well as 2 libraries with computers and high-speed internet access -- each 1/2 to 1 mile away -- should both my desk top and laptop fail me at the same time.
Also, when we first enter a trade, I will suggest a stop loss, and I believe C2 now has as part of their system, an optional stop loss and target that members can choose. So no one will be left hanging with a trade going very far against them. Won't happen. I posted a few days ago that I was buying IWM and where my stop would be. That's the way I trade. I don't hold trades very long that don't do what I expected them to do. "Get out and reassess" is more my style.
I have not advertised this system as an "always in" system. We will have periods of time in cash. So, if we are between trades, in cash, and I am unavailable to post a new trade signal, well . . . I reserve the right to skip trades and/or take a few days off once in a while. Is that OK?
I looked at some very popular systems at C2, and some of the better ones are NOT "always in." They skip days and even weeks between trades, and charge plenty.
hi
congrs on being on c2. is there a back up in case u can't send the signals out? thanks
Gloe
Wanted to let you know I bookmarked your board.
yeah it helps. thanks
It seems that it is possible for me to "broadcast" the alert to all Members. It appears that Members will receive the message through the same means as their chosen Collective2 alert type -- Instant Messenger (Collective2's ITM), e-mail, etc. Please note that the e-mail will come from bounce@lists.collective2.com. So if you want to receive these e-mails, be sure your spam filter isn't picking them up.
sammy, I read through my intro again, and I can see why you might be confused. So I changed the wording a little bit. Let me know if that helps.
I'm going to find out if it is possible to e-mail all subscribers when I get a new signal and have a new Pending Trade Alert, so that I can post the alert on the private forum and also notify each member individually. I'll see if that is possible.
my intro mentions "Buy" and "Sell" signals. So, I don't really understand your question.
"Sell" signals are generated when my system gives me a "sell" signal. Also, we might be long, for instance, and be moving our stop up, and then our stop gets hit. That would also generate a "sell" signal. Or if I have a specific target in mind, I will post that also as a "sell" signal/suggestion.
Hope that answers your question.
when are sell signals generated. It doesn't say on your intro on c2
Well, I did it. I set up my Collective2 system. My unique url is www.glorytrades.collective2.com I really don't want any subscribers yet, until I have established a track record for a few months. But if I tell them not to allow any subscribers, they won't make my system information public. So I am allowing 10 subscribers for now. I want to concentrate on making the best trades I can, rather than drumming up business.
