R.I.P Eternal Image

About a lifetime ago this was the first pinksheet stock I ever bought. I had one great trade and then about 3 awful ones with Eternal Image first ETNL then ETIM!

When the kool aid was flowing here this was a thing of beauty! Great concept. Horrific execution. And of course in the end they realized it was just so much easier to sell paper instead of caskets.

We are resting in peas....

I still think this was a great business model lol

There will be no symbol change. This company has been absorbed by an outfit out of Indianapolis. It is ironic that the same company pretty much controlled the import of the Chinese Caskets that Eternal so desperately needed to fill orders. Unfortunately, the funeral business is one that cannot have glitches or delays in receiving their products. His idea of Sport insignia style caskets was great. However he did not have a plan to execute.

Today we received a Letter of Intent from our funding broker that outlines the final steps required to close a $5 million growth capital loan. This Letter of Intent is to be followed next week by a Conditional Approval Letter directly from the lending institution. From the time we receive the Conditional Approval Letter until closing is expected to be about twenty business days.

For the time being, there may be intermittent interruptions with stock data feeds as the OTC system is being upgraded and market makers are moving their companies from one exchange to another, such as ETNL from OTCBB to OTCQB. We have recieved several calls about losing data streams today and to the best of our knowledge this is a system wide issue and should correct in the coming weeks as the new system takes effect.

Well I knew about the involuntary BK a long time ago and was surprised to see that it had taken so much time for it to finally put the Q at the end of the cusip.

I believe that they have taken the company private and that is how they are operating at the present time. I think that they are getting their stuff made in China if they are selling anything at all. Not real sure about this since I don't keep up with them at all anymore.

They did declare bankruptcy a long time ago but it took some time to register for some reason or another.

I truly believe that his intentions was to sell caskets. As I sid before, he could not meet demand and his procurement of Chinese caskets was sketchy to say the least. When he could not produce, word got out and that pretty much killed the business.

In hindsight, what has transpired gives quite a bit of truth to that statement. I still question by what right did they have for taking those licenses from creditors and stockholders and forming their own LLC. It sure does smell funny. If the SEC follows up they are in for a world of nightmares.

This is true. The principles formed their own LLC and took the licenses with them, screwing both creditors and stockholders. I am seriously thinking about filing a formal complaint with the SEC. They like going after the little fish so the big fish can keep up the game.

My guess is that he is still around. May not be listed on BOD. His biggest problem was that he could not get shipments from China quickly. Comapnies like Batesville, Aurora and Matthews would not sell to him from what I have heard.

Did the old EI go Chapter 7 and vanish? Or is this the reorganized EI? Seems this stock could run out of pure confusion. The same thing happened to the old Blockbuster Inc., stock even after they sold the trademark and the assets to Dish. The old Blockbuster stock ran anyway until they halted it and made them change the ticker symbol. Interesting situation.

That is correct. I happened to see the product two weeks ago in Indianapolis. I was in this a couple ears back and did make a little bit when I sold. I believe the new people have a handle on procurement and have an avenue for distribution. Caskets were coming from China and I think they still are.
