LOLOLOL I love checking in occasionally to see what's up. It's amazing, nothing ever changes, years go by and these boards stay the same.
People still believing, even with all the facts in play. Yes some are true i.e. Hurd's visit, land purchased etc... But the real hardcore facts overshadow the small facts.
It took 700 million to rebuild the place I work and we make just one product. The roads, the utilities, the pipelines, the flare, the customers and investors etc... were already in place. A new plant from scratch of this nature costs over 1 billion.
This was also backed by a large group of investors, in other words, Jack has not a single one of these and people still believe he'll do it. The other facts are, his previous companies have been total failures (except to his pocket) and price continues down, the two main items you'll see in every penny stock pump/dump. GLTA
The positive note is that when we lose money we learn the most :)
I wouldn't get too excited about Hurd's visit, he has an office in Fort Stockton and Cactus healthcare was having a ground breaking. I'm sure Jack timed this visit perfectly. MMEX is a legit company on paper, it would be unprofessional for Hurd to totally ignore a local business owner.
Dude,
In this case all the market makers are only making money off of millions of shares from people like you and me. :)
Not only do they get money from bid/ask they also get paid to supply liquidity for the markets, it's part of their income.
They're not interested in investing in the future of this company.
Just a side note; HFT/dark pools trade millions of shares in a nanosecond and the majority of the world never/ever sees these transactions happening.
Yeah and I'm curious to see the next step in this grand venture. Honestly I hope dozens of millionaires come from this,
realistically I don't see it happening.
No mention of these projects happening anywhere accept from original news stories. The first 'refinery' in 40 years yet no mention of the projects on any of the contractors sites.
On their sites you can see ongoing projects but not any associated with mmex.
KPE mentioned it once in March on twitter but nothing since then, anyone find it odd there's been no 'serious' mention anywhere by anyone on this ground breaking/history making event.
I also find it odd that as the story goes on what will be happening continues to dwindle, things like the original story convinces people the company will be able to tie into a pipeline. Definitely a good point to add in when trying to convince someone to help you build a refinery.
LOL, Slow Okie, that's a pretty good way of putting it :)
No large company would even consider MMEX. Especially with Jack Hanks' background.
Of course they're real, MMEX wouldn't be able to get a dime if they weren't real.
But, in no way does this provide proof that the refinery will be built.
Try to think deeper before getting excited about something, be more cautious, think about what could be going on behind the scenes not just what is on the surface.
The money you're talking about is a grant, not a loan out of faith in the company.
Souheil has many ties in many places and is managing to get money through his many ties.
He's associated with, Industry Capital, V4, VFlare, VFueels, VGas, Eco Securities, etc.. and through these he has ties in Nigeria.
This grant was given to Eko Petrochem which then hired VFuels to develop a study for the plant. A grant implies more of a political aspect, not a belief in making money through this grant.
It's not a scam, but it may not necessarily turnout the way everyone is thinking either. The business world is not run on honesty.
Yes, it's the same setup as the other penny plays that have failed in the past. A company that could pull this off would be established and easy to track. Google maps doesn't even show a building at the location, maybe it was built after the picture??
And everybody is so blinded that no one is questioning anything about one of the main players in this game, Souheil Abboud.
An online degree?
He is tied to this 'seperate?' alternative financing of Industrial Capital.
Has little to no experience in building refineries.
Along with all the other negatives some of us have brought forth there are a ton of red flags to question.
Yes, I know that it could happen, anything's possible and this is the one (been there a couple of times myself in the past, which is why I post what I've been posting)
I just find it rather odd that this 'one' has the same identical format as the others I've seen that failed.
LOLOL, as I said before, the more we talk about this the more I realize how incredibly far away they are from even being remotely close to pulling this off.
If no one believes anything you're saying and they want to believe that VFuels and the toxic financing proves this is a done deal and that the groundbreaking ceremony means things are under way......
Then I have to ask if anyone here has any experience with hundreds of heavy trucks and equipment traveling daily on a two mile long compacted road.
My thoughts are it would be nearly impossible to do, but I don't know personally.
Are the other places out there this far off the main road and did they build them with as long of a compacted road, maybe they were able to work on it as it tears up.
How close is the railway to the site, maybe they plan on bringing most of the equipment in on that, if so will the ground be able to handle the tons of weight?
I know one of our new heat exchangers weighs 80,000 lbs. And that wouldn't be counting the 40,000 lb truck carrying it into the plant.
Everything you say is true, wish everyone would listen.
I have gone through a plant build/revamp and even the simplest foundation or ground work has an unbelievable amount of planning and work involved.
Witnessing large piping, 20' deep foundations for towers, untold welds (and rewelds LOL) roadwork, compressors etc.... and seeing the engineering time involved, the in house planning, the man hours spent on even a small scale was incredible.
There were times when I was shaking my head in disbelief of what was being accomplished. Only experienced contractors can pull something like this off to the point that it will work.
Unless MMEX has been working (and paying for) on this for the last 12 to 18 months there is no way this will be done in a year.
The more I think about it the more I realize how far away they actually are.
First off, saying that the negative aspects of this company is noise is a totally blind long bias and will lead most people to losing their money, to be successful in trading/investing it is utterly important to weigh both sides.
Second, your statement of them building a refinery is false, they haven't started building anything yet except a euphoria within the penny community.
Didn't have to promote the ticker, doesn't work that way, they don't come out and do a sales pitch. They play with our get rich emotions, we all have it and are drawn to that which we believe can get that for us. Word of mouth, forums, ton's of other stuff gets the word out about the company.
Yes, it was a pump attempt that failed, nothing in business is a guarantee. My personal opinion is that if this isn't real then the original plan may have to be altered if the desired affect wasn't accomplished.
This is one of the things I can't get out of my head. Toxic financing is ALWAYS a key sign of trouble. If this refinery was so needed it would be easy to find financing. If this were a real deal and was going to be so successful and so needed in America then smart money would be all over it. Preliminary data takes months to collect, it takes hundreds of thousands of dollars to create the numbers needed to convince smart money to get on board. Smart money is not there, that is nothing but a fact, not a bash at all. You have to be able to prove to investors that a return on money can be accomplished, months of engineering has to be paid for (building a plant from the ground up is highly involved), all plans, all outcomes everything will be done before serious money is laid out. So far there is no signs of this taking place. Perhaps I've missed all the data I'm talking about and someone can direct me to where it's at (I don't mind being wrong if it will save me or make me money), all we see so far is toxic financing (and not enough) some basic permitting and that's about it. From experience this project is still months out from getting started if it's real, and their claiming to be finished in 12 months???? impossible. They would have already have to have started to accomplish this.
Edward, I'm not sure what you're talking about, I found the clip I was looking for in the stickies. As of the groundbreaking the only thing that has been done as far as land prep is the road that was laid out to get to the site. No setup, no equipment, the only ground that has been broken was from the shovel. I do expect some movement soon out there so they can keep up the appearance that things are moving. But as of today Jack has done nothing that can't be covered up, forgotten, explained away. I'm not saying he's a scam, I'm just stating that from past experience he has not done anything that proves this project will get completed. Now, if it does, then congrats to all that stayed with it. Wish I had a crystal ball, but I don't.
That's good, I'm very happy for your success. I'm not asking for your advice, I have my own trading style/system that's working for me. What I would like to hear is some things that might help me to stay in this investment and possibly continue to buy more (from my own DD I haven't found any), you should be able to lay them out easily, all I want is facts that negate any of Jack's past performance or why you believe none of this is incredibly similar to many other penny plays that didn't work out. What exactly is your motivation that says 'this is the one', I've experienced the emotion your feeling many times in past 'investments' but have learned to not rely on it for making money.
I've been searching for some videos on the groundbreaking to see the landscape (I thought I had seen a clip somewhere) or any video at all to see what you're seeing. I don't remember if you were there or not, if so can you describe how much prep work you saw. I'm not trying to talk you out of investing in this company, that's everyone's choice, I'm not above losing money in trading, I do it all the time, I'm just bringing a little reality balance to a place where dreams usually rule, not bashing, just stating what I see, I've got 100K shares at around .017 and I feel confident this should easily bounce back up for me to not lose anything when I get out, should be next week.
You're not speaking of 'actual' work at the site are you? There is absolutely NO proof or reason to think this has happened or is anywhere near starting, dates would have been said, trucks, equipment, surveying proof, ton's of information would have already been known. The land has to be prepped = many weeks of leveling, sewer/water/electrical, foundation work, piping, tanks, large equipment on site BEfORE any serious work starts. I'm not saying it won't start, they'll have to get somethings going on site at some point or else people will start questioning. Sorry for the rant.
Edward, the positives can be proven because everything the company says has been done to date or in the process of happening (i.e... TxDot-railroad), the negatives can be researched and proven also. The future of each is yet to come to fruition. All any of us can do now is use the information given and make decisions. For me, there's more negative/uncertainty than there is proof any of what they say will come true.
IG, unfortunately you're right. I've been there and swore off penny stocks but looked into this one on the word of a friend (now I need to get out, after my own DD). Penny people's minds only focus on the number of shares that can be purchased within a budget and that 'this' company and all the shares I can get will make me 'rich'. You won't find serious traders working penny stocks because serious traders know it's a needle in a hay stack and not worth the time. Everybody..... Play these pennies if you must, but in the end be mad only at yourselves if they don't work out for you.
CEO, you need to understand that almost everything they do has the appearance of being real, you can't take anything they do at face value. The filings, the ground breaking, the media etc.. they're all real but the end results won't be. They know how to get money from your pocket to theirs without getting caught.
Thanks for asking :) I didn't bookmark any of the pages. I just did as much looking at Jack Hank and then on MPLE. Saw nothing positive except he made money, and in the end shareholders didn't. He's started many Texas llc's,and any that were successful wound up not being. I finally quit digging into mple, didn't take long to convince me.
It is just way to similar to the other penny scams I've dealt with i.e...ACTC and KGET, and led into others I don't remember the names of.
After researching Jack's history and Mple, I'm going to be brutally honest and say anybody that believes in this man and holds a long position will lose it all. No agenda here, I'm all for becoming a millionaire from a small investment, I've tried it a couple of other times and put money into this one also. But now, after some serious DD, there is absolutely nothing that tells me this is the one.
Good luck to all the longs here, you're about to learn a lesson.
Found it MPLE, London exchange. Now for more DD
Macaveli, I've been doing more DD while I'm still here, what was the company of Jack's that hit $30. The only thing I'm finding is a bunch of companies started but not much else on them. Thanks in advance.
I'll be staying until I sell next week, I'm just wanting to help others not get blinded by biased enthusiasm and share some personal experience with this kind of trade. The people that flip it know that it's not going to last, they'll make money (that's the market) the get rich people will stay and lose their money. It's not the flippers that are keeping this down.
Yes Darkpool, that's how they manage to pull these things off, by making them appear to be real. It's been done many times by many people, you just have to get burned once or twice to be motivated enough to want to see the pattern, it's always the same.
Jmjjw is talking reality here. MMEX has all the earmarks of a scam company, so far everything they've done can be easily forgotten i.e...media coverage. I threw 1500 at this on a friend's word before I did my DD, I'll be taking out what I can as soon as I can.
I hope the lol at the end of your post means you're joking.
MasterofDisaster is correct, read my previous posts and you can get a feel for what might be happening, so far it seems to be the same as the other ventures he's started. If you still believe in Bo just be careful how much you invest, maybe he'll hit it right one day, even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile :)
This business venture is the identical format of all the other businesses Bo has started and abandoned. I feel like I'm reliving my GPEL days when I was very excited about that company. It all looked so real, so legit, so promising and everything that came out of their mouths was just as real and promising (sounding). Here's a link that kinda sums it up. https://lostcoastoutpost.com/2017/may/23/ground-floor-you-can-buy-5000-shares-new-fortuna-p/
Like I've said, it would be awesome for this to take off so I could get some of my money back, but I'm not holding my breath. The only reason I still have 6M sh is that there hasn't been anybody to buy them so I've just stared at them everyday since Nov 2014 reminding me everyday what a penny stock/get rich quick idiot I was and the $7K I threw away with it.
I've got a dozen other links with his legit filings, businesses bought, amazon product etc....
It's been interesting taking a walk down a memory lane that I never thought I'd visit again :)
He's very intelligent and knows the limits he can push. I followed/listened/researched/bought a product they made and in the end there was nothing left but millions of sub penny shares/no activity/no product/no news/nothing. I called the company in Indiana across the street from the recycling company he bought and they said it was still in business but I couldn't ever get them to answer. I looked up the waste recycling business he bought (?) and it was really there. So, he knows how to get things going, get them on paper, get people to invest thousands of dollars, all the time selling shares as excited penny people continue buying. Then when the time is right, he just stops and goes to work on the next penny company to start. Kget isn't the first one, do a little DD and you'll find out more. He also had an interesting acting career. So even though we invest in a legit (?) company the odds are not in favor of it lasting.
I invested in KleanGas, researched Bo extensively and was warned by a previous investor not to invest but did anyway. I posted where I still own 6M sh and hope this makes it to a .001 to get my money back. This is the riskiest trade you'll ever make, Bo is legit but unfortunately he starts a company, takes everyone's money and leaves.
I still own 6 mill sh of KleanGas, Bo's previous company under KGET symbol. Research Bo, he is the riskiest trade you will ever do. This new company is just like all the other companies he started/ended/and made money on from traders like you and me. Everything is legit enough to keep from being a scam. He buys just enough to make everything look good and soon enough he goes on to the next new people. I invested 7K in kleangas and for my sake I hope this can make it back to .001. I know what I say will go in one ear and out the other for 99% of everyone here (I was a previous Bo believer). My hope is that Bo is actually trying to make a money making company so I can get my investment back. Odds are this is like all the other companies he has started, it definitely has the same format. I even bought the potpourri he previously sold on Amazon :) GLTA
