I am pretty certain you have to be a Canadian citizen / resident to open up an account and trade in Canada....at least for us retail investors. Anybody know any different?
One can still buy this stock in Canada and other countries irrespective of the Caveat Emptor classification. The Caveat Emptor classification generally only restricts US citizens from purchasing it. If I am not right about this - please someone let me know.
Maybe he can step in and fix this and keep Securter going as a $DIGAF holding.
Not a peep from Moynes, Romano, Docherty, Secuter, or a company rep of any kind.... pitiful.
what a depressing gut punch - really depressing. I think just plain old mismanagement would have been one thing, but out-right fraud is another. I still just can't quite believe it. I really thought Digatrade could make something work and that we were turning around with Securter - guess I was about as wrong as it gets. Spent years of time and quite a bit of money on this - it sure stings.
Here's what's behind Securter's latest post:
Looks to me like Securter (which $DIGAF has funded) is doing the legwork to build something here and is being recognized for it. Here are the organizations that they are thanking in their post and what those orgs do:
(1) FINTECH CADENCE:
We focus on 3 pillars
Educate fintech talent
Support early-stage fintech start-ups
Collaborate with financial institutions to help solve industry challenges
2) PAYMENTS CANADA
We are the organization that underpins the Canadian financial system and economy by owning and operating Canada’s payment clearing and settlement infrastructure, including associated systems, by-laws, rules and standards.
3) DEJARDINS STARTUP IN RESIDENCE
Startup in Residence supports and invests in start-up companies that have a positive socio-economic impact on communities in Canada. Startup in Residence was designed to guide start-ups and companies motivated to grow.

Approx $27,000. Guess those "management fees and expenses" were due....
uh, instead of saying how to keep customers happy in line, shouldn't they be saying something like, oh, I don't know, "our LineApp makes it so your customers don't have to wait in line"..... ----> see my sarcastic face.
I guess that explains the volume spikes the end of March. Had a hunch that might have been new shares but was secretly hoping it wasn't. Approx $95,000. Wonder if we'll hear how that money is being spent? Not holding my breath. Shameful.
Hey Moynes, Epstein, what's the status of that Phase 2 rollout with the PIN and Cell Phone tech? Gonna make it?
Sure would be nice if, I don't know, the company, kept it's investors (yes the ones who have given you money) in the loop.
Rollout schedule here: https://vested.ca/projects/view/119
What's up with all this volume and the PPS not moving?
yes, we need concrete corporate results.
Agree 100%.
I don't know how to solve this one - really, really wish I did - been trying to think of ways to address that for years.
Been here a long time and just can't figure out why Mr. Moynes can't get it done when I can think of any number of ways to capitalize on what is and was promising technology. Any ideas on your end?
Securter solves a real problem - that's the point. Businesses, and business owners, solve problems to achieve profitability - if the business or owner is not finding and solving problems - that means they're not pushing hard enough, or just don't care.
Let's hope Moyens and Epstein are solving problems.... sure would be nice to hear about it already.

Waiting Line Problems and why they're important:
"Generally, queue management problems are trade off situation(s) between cost of time spent in waiting v/s cost of additional capacity or machinery."
"Therefore, management needs to work on (a) formulae, which will reduce wait time and create delighted customers without incurring an additional cost...."
I had a few professors at business school go into depth on this concept as it's a "real thing" in business operations / planning.
If Securter can get the word out they could have a shot at gaining some traction with the product. I sure wish they would push harder on the marketing and communication....

Thanks Hummingbird - I can't find this announcement anywhere? Is it on twitter?
Asking a moderator to remove oncifuture.
Did LineApp launch today and is it ready for customers.
That's really the only question that needs answering.
Today is the launch of Securter LineApp.
Where you at $DIGAF, Securter? Gonna let your investors know what's happening?
Thanks Integrity.
Would love $3 per share, but to be honest, I'd be over the moon with .03-.05.
15th of March is LineApp launch.
Do I have that date right? Or is it April 1st?
Thank you for the updates Hummingbird - I think these are positive bits of information - These on top of the fact that Toronto Airport signed on, means Securter is out there pulling in some customers. Also, this may be an indicator they are actually approaching the launch with a formal marketing program of some sort. Let's hope they are.
7 days till LineApp official launch.

What does HUMBL have to do with $DIGAF/Securter? I can't find any reference to either in the docs you linked to your post.
It's significant that $DIGAF has invested in and played a part in the fielding of a tech application that is actually getting taken up by significant customers. This is a first for quite a number of years despite their trying.
If they can keep bringing in customers and actually execute on the IPO, it will mark what in my estimation is a major sea-change in $DIGAF for the better.
We'll see.
yep, I know, I'm with you.
I feel as though the success of Securter will accrue to DIGAF - it will in fact do that if the IPO and/or underlying tech get some traction.
I see DIGAF as a little like a venture fund - investing early in promising tech and people, and returning results to investors.
Quote from website (2/9/2022):
"DIGATRADE is a public company that draws in experts. We convert the design passion of our collaborating developers, as individuals, into commercial outcomes.
Brilliant innovation in the world of software development can occur at the level of the individual, but such individuals alone don’t usually have the means to commercialize their insights. We have formed a community of such talented individuals in order to blend their multiple fintech perspectives into practical applications for the benefit of DIGATRADE customers."
Just my thoughts.
There we go - that's the way to engage the public. It seems someone at Securter is keeping an eye on the market. That's a good sign in my opinion.
Thanks Hummingbird.
just what I was wondering...
Apply for LineApp at https://lineapp.biz/.
They're accepting applications and the website seems tight.
They need to put a link on the twitter posts for customers to sign up.
Thanks Hummingbird.
good one.
wonder who's doing all this selling??? red across the board for days now. really, I'm serious, why would anyone want to sell at such a depressed price - I know for a fact these big lots were not bought at a lower PPS unless they were bought years ago. Anyone have any ideas?
Hasn't been one to my knowledge. I believe he is reacting to the share structure update that Hummingbird posts on occassion.
You're exactly right.
OK, hadn't thought about it like that, thanks.
I just think its a poorly written piece none the less. If you and I both have different opinions on what that piece means, it means it's not a good release.
From your perspective, I would think it could have been better written with a clearer emphasis on the originator's affinity group, a more concise comment, and call to action such as:
"As business owners like us continue to grapple with the uncertainty and changing demands of this pandemic, we here at Securter are fielding ways to overcome the pain. Our LineApp checkout app allows your customers to que and pay with absolutely zero contact between them and your staff. With LineApp, you can reassure new and exiting customers that you're a safe and welcoming space to find what they need. Enroll here XXX or call us today to learn how we can help you succeed in these trying times. "
...or something like that.
Securter posted this yesterday afternoon....
With a lot of uncertainty surrounding us nowadays, we still need more time to understand how the pandemic will permanently affect your business.

They raised some considerable money last quarter. Maybe they will do us the courtesy of letting their investors know what they are going to do with it.
From Canadian SEDAR:
"....$447,670.00 has been raised by the Issuer. A total of $307,720.00 was raised from the sale of common shares to Digatrade Financial Corp. An additional $30,500.00 was raised from the sale of common shares to multiple shareholders. The Company has also received in-kind services from its management and technical team in the amount of $109,450.00."

won't do it.
need results. that's the only thing that will help at this point.
"Bad news isn't wine. It doesn't improve with age." - Colin Powell
I guess they've missed their benchmarks...again...judging by the deafening silence across every platform that Securter and Digaf manage.
