I have been getting a lot of questions on a company we’ve been covering for quite a while now, PUF Ventures (CSE:PUF) and wanted to make sure I sent everyone a quick note. Although PUF.C has been quite slow in the market, I think that will soon change. The company has been progressing nicely operationally and I’m hopeful that 2016 will be the year we can see all their hard work finally come to fruition.

Over the last twelve months, the company has made some significant strides forward: Their AAA Heidelberg cannabis facility in London, Ontario passed their security clearance and entered into the review stage. Now that’s a huge step forward that I don’t think the market quite realized. At an $1,800,000 market cap, that’s where I see the biggest upside for investors. Many experts in the field have already told me that gaining security clearance is the hardest part in the process of securing an MMPR license in Canada. Now that that’s finally behind the company, management believes it’s only a matter of time before they get their license. So what’s a license worth? Judging from other licensed public companies on the exchange today like Aurora Cannabis (CSE:ACB), Canopy (TSXV:CGC), Organigram (TSXV:OGI) etc., many can argue that an MMPR license is worth around $10,000,000 or over 5X the value of where PUF.C is currently trading at today. Now there’s obviously no guarantees of that happening but with security clearance granted, the company is well on its way towards achieving their goal and since I have a very large share position in the company myself, I’m hoping they can get it over the line.

Not only that, but PUF also completed the purchase of a 9.7 acre parcel of land in Whatcom County, Washington. PUF purchased the property for around USD $1.2 million and has a USD $1.08 million mortgage on it which is due on May 31st, 2017. Since the property is licensed, they’re looking to become a landlord and lease-out the space to potential licensed growers. Yari and his team are also working hard to secure a potential JV/strategic partner so stay tuned for that news.

VapeTronix - The company announced that it’s introducing a premium e-liquid/e-juice product line to its existing 1313 brand of e-cigarettes. Purchase orders are already coming in but I’m hoping to see a much larger order come in shortly.

At less than an $1,800,000 market cap, I think investors have more than one reason to keep PUF.C on their radar screens. If they get an MMPR license, I could easily see this stock trading at much higher levels and giving investors a significant reward on their investment. Not only that, but as they look to secure a JV partner in Washington and continue to increase revenue on their e-cigarette line, this is a story that could trade based on a revenue multiple over time. Now, it’s obviously very early stage and probably too early to talk about that now but I wanted to keep it in the back of your mind as the sector and company continues to develop. With an exciting pipeline in the mix and if they’re able to achieve some of their short-term goals, PUF could easily outweigh many of our 2016 expectations.

AAA HEIDELBERG PASSES SECURITY CLEARANCE

Chlormet Technologies Inc.'s subsidiary, AAA Heidelberg, has been notified by Health Canada that it has successfully progressed though the security clearance stage and has entered the review stage.

This is a significant development for AAA Heidelberg and its application for a MMPR (marijuana for medical purposes regulations) licence.

"AAA Heidelberg is now in a minority of applicants who have successfully moved through the security clearance stage," stated Yari Nieken, president of Chlormet. "We are excited by the prospect of AAA Heidelberg receiving our licence in due course."

While in the review stage, AAA Heidelberg's physical security plans will be reviewed to validate the information in its application.

Since entering the preliminary screening stage, the facility has been built out to meet the highest level of pharmaceutical standards. It currently features a state-of-the-art HVAC and Surna water-chilled climate control system. These systems provide the backbone of the facilities automated systems for temperature, light, humidity, carbon dioxide and special ventilation for bacteria control. Grow lights, tracking software and auxiliary hardware have also been installed.

Chlormet Technologies Inc. has qualified to trade on the over-the-counter marketplace under the symbol "CHLMF." Additionally, the company is eligible for book entry delivery and depository services of the Depository Trust Company (DTC) to facilitate electronic settlement of transfers of its common shares in the United States. This electronic method of clearing securities speeds up the receipt of stock and cash, and thus accelerates the settlement process for investors.

The DTC is a subsidiary of the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. (DTCC), and manages the electronic clearing and settlement of publicly traded companies. Securities that are eligible to be electronically cleared and settled through the DTC are considered DTC eligible.

Chlormet Technologies Inc. is providing an update on its wholly owned subsidiary VapeTronix, which was acquired in May, 2015.

VapeTronix is now extra provincially registered, which will allow for the expansion of sales of its marquee 1313 brand e-cigarettes across Canada.

A test market for 1313's nicotine e-cigarette is now under way in several locations in the state of Texas. If the brand proves popular, VapeTronix will seek to extend distribution throughout the state.

New product lines are currently under development, and it is anticipated that VapeTronix will make a sizable order for product shortly. This product would then be available for distribution in August of this year.

As part of VapeTronix's continuing promotion of its products, it will be showcasing its 1313 brand of products this coming Sunday (June 28, 2015) at the Nelly official afterparty at &CO in Mississauga, Ont. CHLORMET COMPLETES PURCHASE OF WASHINGTON STATE PROPERTY

Chlormet Technologies Inc. has completed the purchase of property located near Ferndale, Whatcom county, Washington state (see news releases dated Nov. 4, 2014, and May 28, 2015), and is now the registered owner by way of its subsidiary PacCan Industries LLC.

The property is 9.7 acres in size and has multiple buildings located on it. The largest building is approximately 13,000 square feet (of total floor space) and is divided into eight bays. Three separate tenants currently occupy six bays. Two tenants, who rent four bays between them, have been given notice to vacate by June 30, 2015. The company intends to meet with the third tenant with the goal of trying to sign a long-term lease.

The property is large enough for the construction of multiple additional large-scale buildings, and the company has engaged a developer to provide schematics and zoning guidance. During the escrow phase, the company had the property rezoned to reflect the recommendations of the developer.

The purchase price of the property was $1.2-million (U.S.), and the company has secured a third party mortgage on the property in the amount of $1.08-million (U.S.). The mortgage is non-recourse and has a 24-month term with 5-per-cent interest-only payments due monthly.

The company intends to generate revenue from the property via long-term rentals and/or leases for the building (or portions thereof). To further clarify, Chlormet will rely upon landlord exemption provisions under Washington State regulations RCW 69.50 and WAC 314-55 that allow for the lease of facilities, security equipment, fixtures, tenant improvements, utility services and maintenance/security services to state-licensed producers and processors.

The rents will be reasonable and fixed, and the company will not be involved in or participate in the business of its tenants.

"The company is thrilled to have closed a transaction that will in short order diversify its income. I was very pleased with the efforts put forth by both management and our consultants during the due diligence and rezoning processes," stated chief executive officer Yari Nieken.
