SPMI DD-BEST STOCK TO OWN IN PENNYLAND--> You will begin to see larger valuation jumps in the pps by mid to late September....the pps imo will be between .25-.50 before the end of the year...in 2014 you will see $1-$3... Look at this 10 yr chart at the bottom of my post....share structure is a bit higher, but not much....but much much larger revenues coming beginning to trickle in back half of this year and will visible more noticeable in 2014 when expansion, conversion of business model, and new upscale franchises kick in...Remember this key....they are doing almost $8million on a friggen emission test alone as around the beginning of q3....now they are adding emission repairs which could run $200-$300+ per failed emission test....plus all the other big ticket item car repairs mentioned in pr's.....do the math..**This is why I love this stock pps going up...way up!!
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/spmi/stock-chart?intraday=off&timeframe=10y&splits=off&earnings=off&movingaverage=None&lowerstudy=volume&comparison=off&index=&drilldown=off
---------------------------------------------------------------
Projected Additional Rev Numbers: Here is some math: $8M revs is approx. 350,000 emission tests at about $20-$25..Now, national avg. of emission test failures is about 5-10%....so that would be 17,500 to 35,000 cars.. With a cost avg. emission repair cost of $200-$300....Lets take the median avg. to fix and median number or cars...
*SPEED EMISSION HAS TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER CARE...SEE THIS VIDEO AND AWARD: http://www.speedemissionsinc.com/awards.html (*My point is they will keep a majority of these customers for emission and safety repairs....and all car care maintenance.
26,250 cars x $250.00 = $6,562,500. or $6.5M (*ALMOST DOUBLING REVS WITH EMISSION REPAIRS) dollars is a rough estimate on Speed Emission capturing their emission failures...most customers are opting to do this since the car is already there....and they need to pass to get cert. sticker....THIS WOULD MAKE THE COMPANY ABOUT $5M+ IN THE BLACK AND PROFITABLE ALONE...NOW....because the were losing roughly $200k per qtr or $800k per year....mainly due store closings and reopenings....and various other accounting costs....
Now, add in revenues from conversion of stores to complete care care centers: (ONLY LIKE 3 -4 OF THEM AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL BE EXPANDING BACK HALF OF THIS YEAR)
1- oil change, tune up
2- transmission
3- brakes
4- diagnostics
5- tire rotation
6- misc safety inspection repair
7-headlight restoration
AND....NOW LETS LOOK AT THE RECENT PRS with EXPANSION:
1- 24 NEW SPEEDY EMISSION TESTING AND REPAIR CENTERS....
2- PLUS THE ROUGHLY HALF THE STORES TO BE CONVERTED TO COMPLETE CAR CARE CENTERS....
3- AND FINALLY...THE UPSCALE MODEL FRANCHISE THAT IS NOW AVAILABLE TO 32+STATES.....4 -6 BAYS GARAGE+ MERCHANDISE AND EATING AREAS....ETC...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW IR DEPT. JUST HIRED
Fundamentally, Accumulate all you can imo cause the news, updates, and more will be more common back half of this year...I have done extensive DD here....this company will be profitable by q4/q1...this alone will bring in wall street investors, fund managers etc. to the stock...IR guy is already preparing the following for back half of this year into Q1 2014: (*already started some)
1-Scheduling and coordinating of corporate presentations at investor/broker/analyst conferences on Speed Emissions Inc. (SPMI)
2-Schedule television coverage and create relationships with national media outlets (Fox Business News, CNBC, Bloomberg, Today, Good Morning America, among others).
3-Local/regional media coverage in markets were franchises exist and new states entering.
4-Introductions to financial and other business development partner...(i.e. last Pr- Speedemissions, Inc. Signs Strategic Marketing Agreement With myEZ Car Care, LLC) (franchising.com)
5- Handle all telephone, email, letter correspondance and requests for client information from investors, shareholders, analysts, institutions and media. Coordinate, schedule and host conference call and investor presentation requests.

Sorry about the loss of your grandmother; I followed the thread back to the prayer; Sorry i missed out on meeting William too...Random on my part; but good wishes none the less for those you care for.
He did like that....
William Howery (2/10/71 - 1/29/09)
The etrade baby (William got such a kick out of) a year later
William had a good heart and was the type that would go out of his way to help others
Not too many people on line are like that unfortunately
Funny I have over 500 marks but know there's only about 3 of them I can truly count on
William was one of them and he definitely won't be forgotten.
I just hope his son is being well cared for and loved
Thank you,
I still remember William and his great since of humor. It is important we keep all those that made an impact on our lives in our hearts. Their memories will live on in our hearts forever.
Hi,
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. May God be with you and your family during this time.
I posted that on the one year anniversary date from William's first post on this board and had Matt sticky note his post.
Next month will be a year since his passing. It's still so hard to believe it happened but it makes you aware that it can happen at any time for any reason which doesn't even have to make sense.
Hope your family can still have a good holiday even though losing a family member has to make it difficult.
Tina
That is a great prayer. My grandmother passed this weekend and the way I am trying to look at it is god is letting my grandmother be with my grandfather this Christmas.
Be well and stay well Tina.:)
A Christmas Prayer for those who have suffered the recent death of a loved one
God of compassion, there is such a hole our hearts! Christmas should be a day of joy, but we feel only emptiness and loss. While the world celebrates around us, remember Christmas celebrations of the past. In our blind tears we wonder if anyone can possibly understand the depth of our sadness.
We know, you can. You sent your son to be with us in our deepest sorrows and we know that even though we might not feel it now, you are here with us, grieving with us, caring for us in our sadness. Dearest lord, help us to turn to the one we miss so much this holiday and speak. Help us heal the loss of our parting and help us not to regret the things we didn't say. Sorrow tears in hearts, but this Christmas we ask that our loss softens our hearts and make us more compassionate with everyone we meet, so that our loss may become a gift to others.
-------------------------------
Loving God, Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake. Amen.
-- Robert Louis Stevenson
I was thinking about him this weekend... very sad...
I remember William was trying to find his ex a new location to live because he hated taking his son for visitation weekends for fear of his safety. I sure hope she finally did move if she now has custody of his little boy.

Here's one mom that won't be celebrating the joy that's normally felt today.
Today will be William's mom's first mother's day after the loss of her son. How she's coping I can't even imagine. It has to be a parent's worse nightmare to outlive their child.
An Eternal Mother's Day
by Nancy Rothstein
What does a mother do on Mother’s Day, or every day for that matter, when one of her children has died? What does she do with the emptiness of that child’s non-presence, even as she continues to receive joy from her living children? Does she reach out to her deceased child through prayer? Does she await a sign? HOW DOES SHE CONNECT?
Mother’s Day is a holiday that brings freshness to our loss and ignites our sadness, no matter how many Mother’s Days we have spent without our child or what age they were when they died. It’s also a special day when our living children (if we are fortunate to have them) celebrate us and when we celebrate our children. But our loss sits next to the hugs, cards and celebration nevertheless. Someone is missing.
My middle child, Josh, was struck by a car and killed 6 ½ years ago. At the time, his sisters were just about 12 and 19. Answering the question that comes so often, “How many children do you have?” was often cumbersome. Do I say “it”? Do I say 3? Or do I say 2? But that’s not fair to Josh because he will always be my child. A friend gave me the answer I was seeking a few Mother’s Days ago when she left a bouquet of 3 roses at my door with a note, “You will always be the mother of 3.” And there it was; permission. I gained resolve not to leave Josh out of my response despite the risk of bringing a stranger to tears. Yet, how do I keep him active in my life? How do I mother him?
Membership in the “Mothers whose child has died” club is one that is every mother’s worst nightmare. Club members understand each other. We honor our children in ways that work for each of us. Our grief may be expressed in differently and our coping skills may vary but our bond is certain, as is our desire to share stories and help each other take another step forward.
In this light I share my experience, one which may help keep your child “present.” Josh has given me a blessing, a portal to “hear” his voice. With his help, I offer a roadmap to other moms who yearn deeply for their child and seek answers to questions that haunt them at night, or who feel the jolt of loss as the car passes the baseball field where he swung a bat, or who are overcome with grief at the grocery store when it hits you that your child is not there to eat the cereal you reach for. The questions and wondering keep coming….“Is he OK? Is she safe? Talk to me. I miss you. Do you hear me when I pray for you? How do I reach you?”
Here is how the connecting works for Josh and me. For an instant…between seconds and before words….I feel Josh’s presence. I KNOW what he is saying to me. Thought is transcended. Effort is nil. I am just present with Josh. Then the impulse translates into the language I know; my thoughts become words. Where does this link come from? Can I help another mother searching to connect to her child?
It is said in the Talmud that it is our responsibility to speak to those who have died and that in doing so, we vitalize their soul. I was comforted to learn this from a Rabbinic scholar with whom I study. This knowledge gave me a sense of responsibility to talk TO Josh. Not just to WAIT to hear FROM Josh. I realized that our “communication” had been mostly when Josh came to me, often through the written word. Now I have a meaningful reason to cultivate my communicating TO Josh, knowing that I will be energizing his soul. In this way, I still get to mother him. TALK TO YOUR CHILD. Cultivate the connection. This is what will breathe life back into you and energize your child’s eternal soul.
Mother’s Day is a perfect occasion to reconnect to our precious sons and daughters, a time to feel fullness amidst the emptiness, pain and sorrow. We just can’t SEE our child. So, close your eyes where there is no noise or distraction. Go to a place where it is possible to feel your child, to find your child, to KNOW that they are there. Mothers, will you surrender to what I am suggesting? You have to have faith that this is possible. Your child will help you. What you seek is so close. The portal to reach your child is through your heart, the place where you will always feel intense love for your child. Our minds are filled with memories and thoughts, but our hearts are filled with love. Our children want to hear from us. Go to your heart to ignite the connection. That is where your motherly journey continues on Mother’s Day and every day.

Jacob's Dream at Bethel
10 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Haran. 11 When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. 12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway [d] resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 There above it [e] stood the LORD, and he said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. 14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. 15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."
16 When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it." 17 He was afraid and said, "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven."
18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it. 19 He called that place Bethel, [f] though the city used to be called Luz.
20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear 21 so that I return safely to my father's house, then the LORD [g] will be my God 22 and [h] this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."
Someone asked me yesterday why I still talked to a "dead person."
I don't think he was being rude (could be wrong) but thought it was odd.
It is odd but the more I think about your friendship, the more I realize that I haven't ever met anyone quite like you on line to date. You William were an unconditional friend and giver and never a taker. You gave advice, you gave knowledge, you gave wisdom, you gave humor and sometimes even gave a little hell (when it was well deserved) and never asked for anything in return.
We tend to get wrapped up in things going on in our own lives and don't make as much time as we should for people like you that deserve it and unfortunately, it takes death to realize that it's too late to make up for that time.
Maybe it's guilt that I didn't take as much time as I should have or returned your last call before your death.
You definitely won't be forgotten for a very long time.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; James 1:2-7 NIV
It's been a month since you left us Marketedge. You are still very much missed.
This daily scripture so fits the memory that I have of you William because you always respected and treated everyone with consideration and kindness.
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, 'I love God,' yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. 1 John 4:19-21
I completely agree...a good man has been lost...
hi Monk,
thanks, it was. That night's reading reminded me so much of William.
I really miss him. I am one who puts a very high value on knowledge and William shared a lot of his. He would call me and walk me thru market maker moves on stocks step by step. He was really good at it.
He was one to always try and cheer you up when you were down. I keep listening to that voice mail that he left a few hours before he died (you heard it) and he wasn't his usual "HEY GIRL, WHAT'S UP!?" self. It's as if something bad was going to happen. Even though, he still called to make sure I got a message to someone else because that's the type of person he was (very responsible and believed in keeping his word).
very sad :*(
That was beautiful....
Daily Manna from the 'Net for Sunday, February 22, 2009
'Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.' John 14:1-4 NIV
Psalm 18:16-24
16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the LORD was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.
20 The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD;
I am not guilty of turning from my God.
22 All his laws are before me;
I have not turned away from his decrees.
23 I have been blameless before him
and have kept myself from sin.
24 The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
Matthew 22:15-46 TNIV
The Greatest Commandment
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' [c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' [d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

MARKETEDGE created this board for people to share leisure events that occur when the markets are closed. Whether it be night out at the casino, the dance club, a sports bar, a family event, a first date, an anniversary, etc..
As we all know, there is more to life than trading and working ... whether people choose to admit it or not, our lives need to consist of a sense of balance, harmony, contention, and a place for personal self satisfaction to rest upon. Some are born into it and find it automatically and some may end up searching throughout their entire lives for it. Either way, this is a place to share some moments ... good or bad.
****Although this board is being retired as a memory of his presence with us, we request that you visit his other board that he dedicated for those that wished to learn charting. Let's please keep it alive. I believe he would have wanted it that way.****

The meaning of life constitutes a philosophical question concerning the purpose and significance of humanexistence. The concept can be expressed through a variety of related questions, such as Why are we here?, What's life all about? and What is the meaning of it all?. It has been the subject of much philosophical, scientific, and theological speculation throughout history and there have been a large number of answers from many different cultural and ideological backgrounds.
The meaning of life is deeply mixed with the philosophical and religious conceptions of existence, consciousness, and happiness, and touches on many other issues, such as symbolic meaning, ontology, value, purpose, ethics, good and evil, free will, conceptions of God, the existence of God, the soul and the afterlife. Scientific contributions are more indirect; by describing the empirical facts about the universe, science provides some context and sets parameters for conversations on related topics. An alternative, human-centric, and not a cosmic/religious approach is the question "What is the meaning of my life?"
