Yorkshire Building Society Selects Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services Solution, Extending Its Investment in Verint Witness Actionable Solutions Technology


Building Society to Deploy Workforce Management Solution to Assess Branch Improvements for Enhanced Member Services

MELVILLE, N.Y. & LONDON, Oct 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Verint Systems Inc. today announced that Yorkshire Building Society has selected its Impact 360(R) for Retail Financial Services from Verint(R) Witness Actionable Solutions(TM), in partnership with Sabio, an innovative contact center company and Verint partner. This investment in the company's workforce optimization technology, which is being deployed as a Managed Services solution, complements the existing Impact 360 contact center solutions that Yorkshire Building Society already uses.
With a reputation of providing excellent member service and being cost effective at the same time, Yorkshire Building Society's objective is to implement the solution in a number of its 136 branch locations to assess process and procedural changes that will be designed to further enhance member experiences and gain additional efficiencies. Yorkshire Building Society is the third largest building society in the UK, with 1.9million members and GBP20.5 billion in assets.

Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services, offered as a managed services solution hosted by Verint, provides banks and building societies branch forecasting and scheduling capabilities through a cost-effective, and easy to use and implement solution. With Impact 360, Yorkshire Building Society can accurately forecast member needs based on transaction and non-transaction resource demands and then schedule staff accordingly, helping ensure it has the right people with the right skills at the right time in its branches.

In addition, the solution will help Yorkshire Building Society validate proposed process and procedural changes designed to simulate the impact on member experiences and operating expenses. The program will include the identification of best practices to improve cost efficiencies and member services prior to rolling out the changes across its branch network.
