Paul Neelin - Founder - Chief Operating Officer - Director
Mr.Neelin offers a unique blend of executive acumen with over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience with several successful ventures. These include food and beverage design businesses and operations as both a franchisee and franchisor. Paul was the Founder of a design and manufacturing company that designed and developed a series of mobile trailers taking brands to non-traditional venues. Paul successfully developed mobile trailers for McDonald's worldwide (Japan, Amsterdam, three Walt Disney Parks). Mobile trailers and carts were also designed for Coca-Cola, Kodak, Mr. Sub, Hagen Daz, and Labatt's breweries.
Paul was instrumental in laying the groundwork for the establishment of U-Vend. Having a strategic vision of modernizing vending, Paul worked with several kiosk manufacturing companies testing various makes and models of kiosks before deciding and insisting on North American made equipment only. This standard is currently being used and will continue to be one of U-Vend's core values moving forward.
With a focus on strategic solution analysis to further U-Vend's business goals, Paul's responsibilities as Founder will be approving new product development, assisting in strategic acquisitions, managing brand partner relationships, and overseeing national and international growth.
Raymond Meyers - Chief Executive Officer - Director
Mr.Meyers founded IMS in March 2007 and has been Chief Executive Officer and President since the Company's inception. Mr. Meyers founded and operated several technology-based companies, with the most recent one being eBoz, Inc., an Internet marketing tools company, which he operated from November 2001 to April 2005 and sold to Web.com (NasdaqGM: WWWW), formerly Website Pros, Inc., in April 2005. From April 2005 to December 2006 he was an employee of Web.com holding the position of General Manager, eBoz Division. He was previously (from December 1996 to December 1999) CEO and President of ProtoSource Corporation, a NASDAQ listed company. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with continuing education at UCLA.
Mark Chapman - President of U-Vend America, Inc.
Mr. Chapman is a passionate corporate strategist and visionary that is driven by valuing key human fundamentals that drive short-term and long-term sustainability. Mark has had tremendous success in leading operations in the seven fundamental areas of business execution; Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, Legal, IT and HR. He has been involved in the creation, management and launch of new products and brands which resulted in category growth that exceeded one billion dollars in multiple companies. He held executive positions in General Foods Corporation, Dr Pepper, Mauna Loa, Malt-O-Meal Foods, Ralston Purina and American Image/Image Plastics.
Chapman has been a consultant, working with many billion-dollar brands such as, Remington Arms, Northwest Racket & Fitness, Coke Foods, Dial Corp., Belgard Brands, Del Monte, First Brands, HJ Heinz, JM Smuckers, Kellogg’s Frozen Foods, First Brands, Reckitt and Coleman, Land-O-Lakes, Diamond Aircraft, Shasta Beverage, Plochmans, and Breyers Frozen Products, Women’s Super-Fitness, PrimePay, Accuchex , Gristmill Corporation, U.S. Armed Forces, Baylor College of Medicine and Advanced Orthopedics Sports Medicine to name a few. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in several key corporate turnarounds, including; OKC/Calise, Harmony Outdoor Living Inc., Image Plastics, American Image and Sea Farms International. Mark has leveraged his 30 plus years of experience to help many companies and brands solve difficult internal and external growth challenges and develop state-of-the-art capabilities, which have resulted in tremendous productivity and profitability.
Chapman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Psychology (cum Laude) and a Master’s degree in Psychology (Magna cum Laude) from Richmond University in London, England.
Greg Hogarth is currently the owner and operator of the Ontario, Canada-based QSR Group Inc. Mr.Hogarth has grown the QSR Group from one single Tim Horton's store in 1986 to 26 Tim Horton's and Wendy's restaurants today with combined sales in excess of $50 million and over 1,400 full and part-time employees. The QSR Group also manages a real estate portfolio in excess of $20 million. Mr.Hogarth is a director and shareholder with The Pioneer Group Inc., owner and operator of Pioneer Energy. With revenue of $1.8 billion, The Pioneer Group is the Canada's largest Independent operator of fuel retail facilities with more than 150 independently-operated locations as well as another 150 gasoline retail locations on behalf of and under the brand name of Esso. Greg has a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies as well as Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is involved with many charitable organizations such as The Young Presidents Organization, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (Canada) and the Tim Horton Children's Foundation.
A naturally gifted goal scorer and playmaker, center Marcel Dionne was one of the most productive offensive performers in National Hockey League history. Marcel played 18 seasons in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992. While with Detroit in 1974-75, he set an NHL record with 10 shorthanded goals, a mark that stood until Wayne Gretzky established a new standard in 1983-84. Marcel was traded to the L.A. Kings prior to the 1975-76 season, and over the next 12 season topped the 100-point mark seven times, was a two-time winner of the Lady Byng Trophy and the Lester B. Pearson Award and was selected to the NHL First and Second All-Star Teams twice each. In 1979-80, he was declared the winner of the Art Ross and from 1975 through 1983; he was the top point-scorer on the Kings. Marcel retired with 731 goals and 1,771 points. At the time of his retirement, those totals placed him third on the NHL all-time scoring list behind only Gretzky and Gordie Howe. Dionne is third in the NHL for most 100+ point seasons. He has had eight 100+ point seasons in his NHL career, only behind Wayne Gretzky's fourteen 100+ point seasons and Mario Lemieux's ten 100+ point seasons. Marcel currently operates a very successful sports merchandise and collectables store called Marcel Dionne, Inc. and continues to make appearances for corporations and charitable organizations.
Mr. Butts is the Founder and Director of Operation of GPS Distribution Inc., a privately held firm with revenues in excess of $10 million that specializes in distribution of newspapers to retail outlets, home delivery and also includes in excess of 250 vending machine locations within the Southern Ontario, Canada marketplace. Mr. Butts has over 30 years' experience and possesses a strong knowledge of logistics, operations, finance, and cost-savings strategies. James is responsible for the of coordination and direction of over 400 drivers daily as well as the business development and logistical planning of their delivery routes 364 days a year.
Mr. Gillen was a partner in the St. Catharines, Ontario law firm Chown, Cairns from 1980 until he retired from the practice of law in 1993. His expertise was concentrated in business and commercial matters, in particular, the negotiation and preparation of licensing and distribution agreements. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Gillen was Vice-President of Horn Abbot Ltd., the owner of the popular board game Trivial Pursuit and all associated intellectual properties. Randy developed a licensing program that included arrangements with The Walt Disney Company, Coca-Cola Ltd., Hasbro Inc., Cunard, The Random House Group and other well-known entities. Mr. Gillen graduated from Brock University in 1971 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics and History, With Distinction. Gillen is also a graduate of Queen's University and received a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1974.
