I was doing some dd on this one. many of the insiders sold a bit less than a million shares.. in 2 months.. I will keep watch.
899800 shares to be exact.. from the 2 ceo.. cruzz williams and ralph..
i still think anything less than 10 dollars is a get.. the selling from ceo has stopped on august 14.. maybe they needed the money for something else.. i don't know .. i will try to find out ..
I think I might want to short it... But not at the moment, this thing may just head fake to 14 and then fall to the single digits... Just watching it for now, but I agree, it is a good short candidate once we can see how the market perceives the competitors. Also that Spooz will launch with a tool that allows you to convert your existing tradestation scripts over to spooz format... so the stuff you've written using theit proprietary format will not goto waste.
TRAD looked like a good short contender. A pity i didn't keep track of it. I did take it from 12 to about $13 but lost track of it since. Maybe TRAD could buy spzi and integrate it into their platform and brokerage business? There's a few investor's boards out there dedicated to traders using Tradestation: mention any competitors and they think you're nuts for even contemplating something different. Really it must be kind of like Microsoft vs Mac. I think spzi needs to get their prices down further--maybe $19.99 for 3 months then up to full price?
But this board is about TRAD: wanna short it? Or wait for the bulls to get back in control. TRAD: It's so TRAD it's the law.

TRAD has a P/E of 14.21 (yikes!)
Last time I saw this stock, it was trading in the $16.5+... now it seems to be on a serious downtrend... My guess is that this stock is about to give way to newer products out there that can fulfil the demands of newer generation traders.
