Good afternoon The Lobster Farm looking for a strong hour of power!
COMP coming up to resistance at 1740. I am thinking along the lines of a pullback no lower than 1640 before resuming the rally. Could the bear be going into hibernation?

Gold pulling back to the BSL...I like a buyin at 270-272

Hey Pretty (Drive-By 2001 Mix)
( Poe and Mark Danielewski )
Mark:
Keiri suggested we go for a drive in her new 2-door BMW coupe
In the parking lot, we slipped into her bucket seats
Keiri took over from there.
At nearly 90 miles per hour she zipped us up to that windy edge
Known to some as Mullholland, that sinuous road running the ridge of the Santa Monica Mountains
Where she then proceeded to pump her vehicle in and out of turns
Sometimes dropping down to 50 miles per hour, only to immediately gun it back up to 90 again
Fast, slow, fast fast slow
Sometime a wide turn sometimes a quick one she preferred the tighter ones
The sharp controlled jerks, swinging left to right before driving back to the right
Only so she could do it all over again until after enough speed, and
enough wind, and more distance than I had been prepared to expect
Taking me to parts of the city I rarely think of and never visit...
Poe:
Hey pretty
Don't you wanna take a ride with me?
Through my world
Hey pretty
Don't you wanna kick and slide
Through my world
Mark:
I can't remember the inane things I started babbling about then, I know it didn't really matter, she wasn't listening
She just yanked up on the emergency brake, dropped her seat back, and told me to lie on top of her
On top of those leather pants of hers, extremely expensive leather pants
mind you, her hands immediately guiding mine over those soft, slightly oily folds
Positioning my fingers on the shiny metal tab, small and round, like a tear
Then murmuring a murmur so inaudible that even though I could feel her
lips tremble against my ear, she seemed far, far away
Pinch it, she said, which I did, lightly, until she also said pull it,
which I also did, gently parting the teeth, one at a time, down under
and beneath, the longest unzipping of my life...
Poe:
Hey pretty
Don't you wanna take a ride with me?
Through my world
Hey pretty
Don't you wanna kick and slide
Through my world
Hey pretty
My pretty baby
Rock it through my world (through my world)
Hey pretty (Hey pretty)
My pretty baby
Rock it through my world (my world)
Mark:
We never even kissed, or looked into each other's eyes, our lips just
Trespassed on those inner labyrinths hidden deep within our ears,
Filled them with the private music of wicked words
Hers in many languages, mine in the off-color of my only tongue, until
as our tones shifted and our consonants spun and squealed, rabbled faster, hesitated, raced harder
Syllables soon melting into groans or moans, finding purchase in new words, or old words, or made-up words
Until we gathered up our heat and refused to release it, enjoying too
much the dark lane which we had suddenly stumbled upon
Prayed to, carved to, not a communication really, but a channeling of
our rumored desires, hers for all I know gone to black forests and
wolves, mine banging back to the familiar form, that great revenant mystery I still could only hear the shape of
Which in spite of our separate lusts and individual prize, still
continued to drive us deeper into stranger tones, our mutual desire to keep gripping the burn
Fueled by sound, hers screeching, mine...I didn't hear mine, only hers, probably counter-pointing mine
A high pitched cry, then a whisper dropping unexpectedly, to practically
a bark, a grunt, whatever, no sense anymore, and suddenly no more curves either, just the straightaway
Too bad dark languages rarely survive..."

I don't understand p&f, forgot the principles, i do resolve to learn it and learn it well this coming winter ... here's my take on the fundamentals - RSA is scarey, and soon as you get unease in the world people pull back to the centre, even though that's clearly illogical since it was the centre attacked this time, but regardless - the rand went down severely against the USD after 11 Sept, go figure .... but political risk aside, suf has now the capacity to generate serious cashflow - Messina is a cash cow just getting rolling, and they've just fired up Klipspringer 'ahead of schedule and within budget', 186,000 carats/year expected .... management is quite thoroughly chastened as to their previous spendthrift manner, and i think they're going to build up a warchest fairly quickly ... don't have any idea what's happening in Angola with Leviev and Camafuca et al, but in any case that won't cost suf any more cash ..... talking myself into buying this paper in the morning, aren't i [don't have any yet] .... cheers
SUF.TO is kinda weird, gave a sell signal and pulled back to the bullish support line...should bounce here, but I have seen stronger charts.

I am thinking of getting into some of the little golds here pretty soon. I bought GOLD on Friday, have had NEM for almost a year.....and my tech stocks blow goats and have a severe lobster infestation coupled with a case of the mushrooms.
Franco, fn.to, has been for some time my favourite major - http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/gall.exe?Gall.web+fn.to
... i like their royalty model, the way that they've increased earnings all the way through the gold bear, their general approach and philosophy ... but, as russwinter points out over on G&SMS, they better get off their butts and make some deals with that near-billion dollars they're sitting on, while quality assets are going cheap, otherwise they'll be left behind ... they took twenty per cent of Normandy ndy.to and now it looks like Anglo will take the whole thing and hand them a measly $160m profit on the deal, lol ..... cash is the last thing they need ... what they should be doing is financing some of the quality juniors i'm holding -g- - bay.to, mfl.to, xcl.to, ngt.v, etc
And it wouldn't hurt their cause to get a New York listing either, they're a better company than pdg whose stock gets more attention from being more accessible to the majority of continental players ... here's their site - http://www.franco-nevada.com
Here's one i'm in fairly deep at the moment - http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/gall.exe?Gall.web+geo.to
http://www.geomaque.com - basic story is - small producer with new greenfield mine runs into bugs on startup, leach is coming slower than planned, so they have cash flow problems, need to do a little rescheduling ... meantime there is in effect a set of toxic warrants with a twenty-day pricing period ending day after tomorrow ... check that chart eh, hoo-hah ... company imho will survive, and we will know the nature of Resource Capital [holders of the warrants] by following how they treat this outfit .... i believe that they will find it in their interest to take say 9.9% of it and reschedule the rest ... we'll see next week or the week after
JXM, how does suf.to look on the p&f? ... i was looking at it today, thinking maybe ~2.20 was a bottom for now ... lots of black candles, one little white one ... well, i like it on fundamentals, it is a quality outfit imho, and should do fine if RSA doesn't blow up, which it might, sure
These lobsters - i hope they're free-range organic lobsters? ... and you play them good music, surely .... cheers
NEM is high on my list and I own it. PDG, I haven't watched much, but the charts for both look decent.
http://www.stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=nem&N=A&T=on
http://www.stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=pdg&N=A&T=on
NEM and PDG are my two favorite gold stocks ( that are not
penny ones anyway)
Gold, the precious metal
Kitco showing a high of 293, but backing off to 290 now.
http://www.kitco.com/
Chart has a couple of buy signals, but we need to get to 296 to break through major resistance and cause some panic buying
http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/PnF.asp?S=$gold
IMO
GOLD - The stock
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/g/gold.html
PE of 21
dividend yield of 7+%
chart shows that the current price has pulled back to a nice entry point after a couple of buy signals.
GOLD is completely unhedged.
