Mom was right all along. Making money in this market isn't all that hard. Buy a good quality stock when the market dips, hold it for the divy until it goes back up, rinse and repeat. She did it with MET, but it's the same concept.

Posting charts is a breeze now. If you are using internet explorer? right click and select properties, then highlight and copy the link and paste it. With it still highlighted, look to the left of the screen and press the "image" icon. (it shows up when you make a post) Then it's done.

I'm anxious to hear of your trades.

sounds like your on it as usual! My raised beds did great for my peppers but my main garden was epic as far as tomatoes! My hops were the only crop that wasn't up to par this year. The best was my collard green.oh lord! do I love collard greens! :)

That's good to hear. My garden did well with most everything, except tomatoes. I didn't recognize the blight soon enough, and it put a hurting on my crop that it never recovered from. My Dad has a 4x4 raised garden, and also another 12x12. He grew enough tomatoes to can 141 quarts this year.

My buddy's wife has 5 horses and he's been composting for a few years. He gave me enough compost to cover the majority of my garden in several inches. My clayish soil has improved each year I've lived here, this should be the ticket. I've also got several huge chicken manure/grass clipping compost piles of my own. One is done, the other I turn every day and watch it cook.

I have a self sustaining crop of heirloom turnips, radishes, carrots, parsnips, lima beans, lettuces, spinach, onions, and pole beans. The longer I do the garden, the more fun it is.
