It was a very nice trade. Didn't get down to where I was thinking but im not greedy. Anyway. Im off for a couple weeks to head to Gloucester Massachusetts. I have always dreamed of going fishing for bluefin tuna and im finally going to go. Probably wont want to come back. Have a good couple weeks trading

At least they are having fun being young. Looks like gold is setting up for a nice drop. If this head & shoulders pattern holds it should drop hard. Im gonna short a couple contracts tomorrow evening when the markets open and let it run overnight. I always say im gonna quit doing that but I also quit smoking 7 or 8 times a year too. LOL

This is the last day. Our oldest runs today. She's a little nervous but the experience of persisting is whats important. BJ is done. Got 23rd out of 78 boys in the 400meters. Sorry bout the rain. It'll clear up buddy!

I went ahead and covered my short position in gold. Was aiming for 10 points but the markets gave me 8.5 points on that play and there is no sense in getting greedy. $1,700 profit for 3 days is not bad for one play. Now im just waiting to cover my short position on the S&P.

Well I miss my buddies but its good to finally do what I want to do. Been restoring a few old boats and teaching my grandson to fish. Me and Tammy are thinking about taking a long 30 day trip down the east coast and across the south to Galveston island. Then up through Texas so she can see where I came from. That way she can see why im so weird lol

That's good. Im not as aggressive as I used to be. I've scaled way back and only trade a few contracts at a time. Once I hit my weekly quota I quit. I do trade my grandkids account but mostly longer term swing trades on big boards

Well, I know. Like I said we live and learn. And that's a big yes. That it what I have always wanted to do. Futures! Period. Need the $$$ though to secure positions with confidence. Been paper trading ever since, and building capital back up. After seeing the $$ that can be made with smart trading, there's no other way. Building it up with what I know I can make $$ with. Starting with BMSN.

That was my fault. I should not have gotten you in futures until you had more money to stay in the game. Even though im good at futures I still get down in trades. But I have to money to stay in a trade when I know it will turn in my favor. Are you ever planning to get in again?

I was in Erie,PA and im home now. Im gonna hold my positions. It going to drop. Judging from the way its acting im thinking its being run up to short it hard. Gold is in an upward trend but its gotta pull back. And if it don't im thinking this wont be my first loss lol

Getting my butt kicked pretty good right now. Probably gonna give back my profit I made last week if it doesn't turn like I thought it would. Either way im gonna hang on to both positions. I still think Im it the right trade

Shorted 2 contracts this morning at 1323.50. Looking for 10 points.

Trading gold is my bread and butter. I love how volatile it is. Its very easy to go long or short it. Although I do take some longer trades I usually scalp it intraday on the 60,15,5 and 1 minute charts. You can watch it all day long and there are always many opportunities to scalp 1 or 2 points here and there. I did lose Fridays profit to a short position I took in the S&P but im still in that trade and don't think I have anything to worry about. The best thing I like about trading futures is its traded 6 days a week 24 hours a day. I will be trading in about another 30 minutes when the markets open

Gold spiked up into my sell target and took me out of the trade. Not a bad days trading.

Gold is looking to break out of resistance. Have a multiple top around the 1296 area. Took two contracts this morning at 1291.50 for a 5 point trade.

Its very fast paced most of the time. I look at my daily and weekly charts to find out where trading is going to be for that week. then trade off of my 60,15,5 and 1 minute charts. I took a trade a little past midnight last night. The S&P is over bought and I shorted 4 contracts for a 10 point gain. We will see how it works out today. Could turn into a weekend hold

Shorted four contracts on the S&P at 1676.50. Set to cover at 1666.50. Should reach target sometime tomorrow for $2,000 profit
The S&P is over bought and the stochastics have been embedded for about the last ten days. Should see a nice pullback.
