20 Listed Company CEOs and Analysts Participate in the 2nd Capital Link International Shipping Forum Thursday, March 20, 2008 -- New York City 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/03/08 --

Twenty listed company CEOs and CFOs, as well as several analysts, will participate in the panels or make presentations at The 2nd Annual Capital Link Forum "Invest in International Shipping" that will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2008 in New York City at the Metropolitan Club.

The objective of the Forum is to provide investors with a comprehensive review and outlook of the various shipping markets. Also, to generate maximum publicity about shipping as an industry and the shipping companies to a wide audience of investors.

The Forum's target audience includes institutional investors and securitiesanalysts; financial advisors and financial planners; retail and institutional brokers; and financial press and media. The event will be open to the whole sell side brokerage community.

SECTOR PANELS

The Forum will start with registration at 7:30 am on Thursday, March 20, 2008 and is expected to finish by 5:00 pm. There will be five panels in total on several sectors and topics as follows:

This board is for fundamental and technical discussion about Quintana Maritime Limited, QMAR. Quintana Maritime Limited is an international provider of dry bulk marine transportation services. Dry bulk vessels transport a variety of cargoes, including coal, iron ore and grain. As of December 31, 2006, it owned and operated a total fleet of 23 vessels, consisting of 10 Panamax vessels, 11 Kamsarmax vessels and two Capesize vessels. Of these 23 vessels, it acquired 13 during the year ended December 31, 2006. As of December 31, 2006, its fleet had a combined carrying capacity of approximately 1,973,552 deadweight tons and a deadweight tons-weighted-average age of approximately 4.2 years. In 2006, it contracted to purchase an additional three Kamsarmax vessels, a Panamax vessel, and a Capesize vessel. In January 2007, it agreed to purchase an additional Capesize vessel. In addition, it took delivery of Iron Knight, a 2004-built 76,429 deadweight tons Panamax vessel and Iron Lindrew, a 2007-built 82,300 deadweight tons Kamsarmax vessel , from affiliates of Metrobulk, S.A. in 2007.
