NYRR has exclusive rights to New York Harbor. This seems to bee the "draw" to this company. NYC Sanitation is changing their waste disposal and recycling systems drastically over the next 2 years and somehow NYRR may be involved. They own floating rail car barges (the only ones of it's type) and exclusive rights to NY Harbor which means if rails are being used to export material they could be involved somehow. Does anyone have any info to add?
all i know about this is in the previous posts here.
Lots of vol last
3 days
any thoughts ?
thx
MK
i'd be happy to discuss with you what I heard, Fred, and basically it's all in the SEC filings, if you take some time to read them carefully going back a couple years.
my email is in my profile.
Are you kidding? Cornell is the connection. He is on the board of New York Regional Rail, and he also wrote the press release recently for New York New Jersy Railroad (Homeland Securities), listing himself as some type of officer for them. Looks like it is the current officers that are on both companies.
Dave007 has agreed to let me be moderator. He put the chart in for now, then I will attempt to get some info here. I admit this looks like a longshot but with the people controlling it, something big "could" happen.
I am thinking that Mr. Cornell and Praxiis do have a connection with NYRR along with:
1-716-675-6015
Ext. 301 New York New Jersey Rail
Ext. 302 New York Cross Harbor
Ext. 303 Thunder Hills
Ext. 304 JS Transportation
Ext. 305 Manhattan Logistics
Ext. 306 NYRR
All have the same address and Mr. Cornell's assistant Linda is on the message machine for all the above companies.
I like the idea that Mr. Cornell is going to use NYRR to go public with Praxiis.
I spoke to Mr. Cornell. He said there is no connection with Praxiis except that he happens to be Chairman of NYRR so he's using his address.
In November the assets of NYRR were spun off into the private New York New Jersey Rail LLC. There is litigation against former officers of the company, and a countersuit back at the company, however it was NYRR that initiated the suit. Mr. Cornell wouldn't speculate about future plans. We need to look at the other directors and see what they have done because some of them still own stock I believe. We have some reading to do on the SEC filings.
Looks like we should just hold and wait for things to materialize being the bottom-feeding speculators we are.
i got some of this one, looks interesting
what's the rush ?
he he
Might see a dip to 0.015 in the a.m.
Should easily bust through 0.017 with enough volume and close at 0.02. IMO
Total share volume rank for 2006:
1. UBSS
2. NITE (accum. in Dec #2 rank)
3. HDSN
4. SBSH (accum. in Dec #1 rank)
Look for their support on the Bid.
GLTA
It looks interesting but you got to think a R/S might be coming unless there is a very low float...
Looks like Mr. Cornell has his S#@t together. Been in business for 20 years helping companies get their S#@t together. Such a deal...
You got it...
Reverse Merger.
With the share structure and a PR this is going to fly.
look at the testimonials !!
I need to find out if Praxiis is moving into NYRR shell.

earth shattering info. Fantastic.
It doesn't take a genius to guess that the NYRR shell is soon going to be called Praxiis.
James W. Cornell
Is President of Praxiis.

DEPARTURES OF DIRECTORS OR PRINCIPAL OFFICERS; ELECTION OF
DIRECTORS; APPOINTMENT OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS.
As of December 31, 2006, Donald B. Hutton resigned as Chief Executive
Officer of the Board of Directors of New York Regional Rail Corporation (the
"Company"). Mr. Hutton did not resign as a result of any disagreement with the
Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or
practices. Mr. Hutton will remain a Director of the Company's Board of
Directors.
Subsequent to Mr. Hutton's resignation, on January 2, 2007, the Board
elected James W. Cornell, the Chairman of Board, as its Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Cornell will serve in both positions.
i rembered it from years ago.
Likely the best thing to do is call or look for local news articles. I believe they are defunct, but that doesn't mean anything in the rail business. They still own track they can sell and real estate and probably some equipment.
The real estate and track ( i bet ) are for sale. But best to call because I am unsure. They still file so obviously have assets to protect.

might be worth doing some fresh DD on.. I haven't looked at it in years, myself. Last I knew it was at 40 cents. Now at .04 and a pink to boot. I'm thinking it may be a takeover play with all the consolidation in the railroad sector.
lol..don't know..hadn't looked at it in a year and a ½..eom
have I been seeing some decent buying of NYRR recently or am I hallucinating ?
Hi Skinny - have you heard any more about whether the case was settled or not as yet?
Cheers, Robert.
cool well if i ever get back in there, it will be a pleasure to talk to you about stocks. good luck on this one, its gonna be good!!
take care and good luck to all. Friday is gonna be good
I am KCWisc in the stocktalklive.net chat room. I rarely post anything now since the market is so slow this summer. You may see me post this fall when things get moving..
Who is this? Ya PAIM was great, thanks
NYRR is my first Richie stock, I got in at .027 yesturday and added a little more today at .049
This will see .10 easy and much more if the PR comes out per Richie!
No not in. I should have when I herd Richie talk about it when it was .014 last Thurs. I think. Money won't be free till Wed. may sell something and get in. You really made a killing on PAIM. Way to go!!!!
I know you were responding to #7 I was just telling him who it is and a link to the show.
Who is this, I am shure you know me if you listen everyday.
You in NYRR Good luck to all, its doing great!!
It's actaully waking up as I type.
Is This Still A Buy? What Is The Share Structure? Big News Coming?
Ya I know it was Richie you must have not read my post. I listen to the show everyday. I was responding to post # 7
His name is Richie and the show is stoak talk live. Go to stocktalklive.net to listen.
I listen to a live talk radio show over the net. Lot's of live callers and one of them started to talk about NYRR I think it was last Thursday. The price then was .014. He lives in NY city and had told us about what the company does and what they are now going ahead with as in future plans. He mentioned today that they were in court to get some final things commited in there plans to be the sole garbage removers in NY city. Sounds like the contract can be HUGE. I listen to: stocktalklive.net everyday during market hrs. Without that show I would not have a clue what to look at in Pennyland!!
from what source may i ask?
Poss. new's Tuesday. That's what I am hearing...
up another 50% today may be they've settled their convertible default issues?
