Kind of sad the scam that was pulled here...
Yup! And didn't I say that was exactly what was happening at the time?
Ya think?
This company is gone... over... kaput!
Nothing for people holding to do but hang onto the worthless paper and hope someone else buys the shell some day...
Company CEO is, in my opinion, a scammer. He destroyed the Paladium and the Oasis in Denver with Jose Luis Ramirez with evil and corrupt intentions, and continues to do so now with this poor company.
Another scam in the making...
he is great he runs IFLM as well now
How is George doing today?
Yes it is! New owners in the house.
The ask is looking thin!!!!
The joke never gets old!
I take it you are joking?
I just bought 10,000,000 shares. Why hasn't the volume showed up?
Man, I am buying....good news is coming soon. They have acquired a singing chimpanzee from the congo that knows perfect english and they are going to market it this worldwide...this is true..I saw the videos. They will incorporate into the karoke machines. Get ready... buy now...
I can handle the loss but I'm pissed that I fell for this scam..I know there are others that lost much more money than I did..
Do you or anyone else think the guy running things (1 year or so) now is legit?..I don't think anything will ever become of the "new and improved" MBST but I have to wonder why they took it over and why the phone meeting with "investors"? Were they really serious and thought they were going to make a profit??....It all seems strange how this played out...I guess there's nothing happening anymore..no trading..Thanks for your previous reply...I haven't been on this site for awhile
It really isn't a mystery... they were undercapitalized and up against real competitors. Their product was inferior to competitive products belonging to companies that actually had licenses and a substantial headstart.
Research into the industry easily revealed this at the time. I pointed this out factually and repeatedly here on this board. When someone points out facts about a company in the pink market that are contrary to what you have heard, it is time to dig deeper... even if the "ask is thin".
As for what happened to those machines, I doubt more than one prototype was ever built. Did the company ever really plan to make a go of it, or just sell shares? Well, we know what the outcome was...
Maybe the shell can be resurrected in some fashion in the future.
I am genuinely sorry for your loss here.
The Karaoke machine IS the only reason why I bought hundreds of thousands of shares MBST...The only stumbling block they said they had was getting the OK from the music companies to be able to legally use their music...The impression I got was it would only take a few months to get everything in order..They had signed a deal
with Apple Industries for "Potential to Distribute Over 1,000 Karaoke Vending Units in First 12 Months".........THAT fizzled out for some reason..I called Apple Industries and asked about buying/renting/leasing a couple of the Karaoke machines...The guy said that deal was in limbo because of "legal problems"....I wish I knew WTF happened to those machines..It sounded like a real moneymaker to me....I think I have $5-6,000 invested in MBST..It's now worth about $62.00 at best....Again, I wish somebody would explain WTF happened to the original business plan..Why did it fail and why hasn't any Karaoke machines hit the market...It was a Great invention..
I have and still have an order in through fidelity...Just no fill to it
Did you ever try to buy?
Thinking about it Yeah I am
Are you considering it?
Has anyone tried to buy any of this ???
I don't think trading on the grey sheets proves that MBST is a scam.
A few years back a good friend told me about a stock that was on the grey's. That company was Seadrill. Back then it was listed under SDRLF. I bought a boat load @ $6.00 a share and today it's @
$38.60..It's now listed as (SDRL)It also pays out a very nice dividend.
I am still worried about MBST..I thought they had a good product in the Karaoke machine..All I can do is wait and hope MBST makes a comback..Otherwise I'll loose a few thousand bucks..
i was a bit busy yesterday ,nothing new~
And have you come up with anything ??
I suppose it has to do with who is doing the talking and who is actually responsible for the action....A shell I am sure as you know is just that until the right home is found...
Just saying. I been in this for quite some time now and havent seen much results. Lots of talk but no action.
Why does it have to be a POS it is a shell is it not ??
going to look into it
I see there are still people watching this POS like me. At least I am not alone.
was trading on OTCQB before.
I saw that. They are keeping the shell current for some reason...
MBST .01 hit, looks like will something good coming, nice filings recently
Trips soon! .000000001 LOL!
At least it traded! ...and look how thin the ask is! :)
Put it on a shelf, a shell always has some value.
.06 drop ????? Guess we are heading down the tubes here.
A sentence to the greys is pretty much a confirmation that the SEC can prove that it is/was a share selling scam.
It is sad that it took them so long... I figured out that this was a scam a year ago!
But the ask is sure thin!

Not a chance it will ever trade on the OTC. Once the suspension of 10 days is done 4 days will pass with no MM activity and it will trade on the greys for good unless charges or revocation is in order. You are already listed on the greys.

That is great!
However, since it pretty much didn't trade before this SEC halt... will it actually start trading volume after? Without a paid promotion, I doubt it!
Even if the ask is thin?
i called george personal , george made it clear that george will change his mind as many times as he wants to make sure only the correct deals come into mbst , and i know george for many years and we both lost money and made money and i trust george, this being said the SEC gave him a temporary slap on the wrist, because they did not recieve one of the supporting documents for one of the press releases
THIS IS WHY MBST IS HALTED
the stock will retrade on the 28th of this month
But wait... their singing booth will be out any day now! It isn't dead!!! Really, it isn't dead!!! Well, ok... maybe it is dead after all...
"Mobile Star Corp. is a Delaware corporation based in California. Questions have arisen concerning the adequacy and accuracy of press releases concerning the company’s operations."
I wonder which releases actually got them in hot water? Not that we ever saw anything that they released actually happen.
Ahhh... but the ask is really THIN! ROFL!
But those weekly callin conferences were going so well months ago. What a joke.

REVERSE SPLIT: On February 7, 2012 the Board of Directors of the Company resolved to authorize a 500-for-1 reverse split of its issued and outstanding common shares, whereby every Five Hundred (500) old shares of common stock will be exchanged for One (1) new share of the Company's common stock, to become effective on February 7, 2012. As a result, once the reverse split is declared effective by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the issued and outstanding shares of common stock will decrease from 650,000,000 prior to the reverse split to 1,300,000 following the reverse split. The reverse split shares are payable upon surrender of certificates to the Company's transfer agent.
The company intended, but failed, to market and distribute a coin-operated vending machine to popular recreation areas including restaurants, shopping malls, bars and theme parks.
Mobile Star's entertainment vending machine was developed to provide a personal karaoke experience. The free-standing booth utilizes patent-pending technology enabling an individual to digitally record his or her voice singing to hundreds of songs. The unit then publishes a computerized disc featuring the singer's voice and the selected background music.

Here is some info from when the company still was attempting to market a product. It is unknown what business (if any) they are in today.

MBST technology is a coin operated karaoke machine which combines a digital media proprietary software platform, a US wide broadband network and a pay per use device. This technology gives the user a unique experience that has been the dreams of many, especially after seeing people turn into stars on some popular television shows such as America's Got Talent and American Idol.
Mobile star gives you the same experience, minus the millions of people watching you.
Every customer who enters one of these Mobile Star units begins a new journey. A journey which allows them to enjoy being in a recording studio, which is fully automated, for a fraction of renting an actual studio out. The unit allows you to choose your music, sing the songs, then publishes a professionally edited digital CD featuring your music and voice.
Utilizing their proprietary digital media software platform, professional hardware and sound proof studio, you get the feeling that you are in a real live studio. These coin operated machines can be found at popular locations from bars to shopping malls to theme parks.
MBST is a product where there is no other such product like it in the current market. The technology comprises of a enclosed booth which is divided into two parts; an acoustically isolated space which is where the singer sings, and the 2nd part is the recording and processing hardware section which includes a computer and a computerized disc dispenser.
Current technology improves and upgrades the sounds of the user allowing for a much better result. There are four different instruments which process the customer's voice: reverb, compressor, amplifier, and equalizer. The Reverb imitates the acoustics of being in a sound stage, the Compressor restricts singing volume to a preset maximum, the amplifier amplifies the voice to the appropriate volume in comparison to the background music and the equalizer allows frequency changes to loud and 'louder' frequencies so dramatically improve the sound.
An animated three dimensional character acts as the virtual recording technician that guides the user from the beginning of the process until the end, thereby improving user satisfaction and enjoyment. The digital recording is saved directly to a file on the hard disc, and the service includes burning a compact disc (CD) while the program mergers between the singing and the music.
Associated software controls the machine activities, including recording, playback, burning, robotic arm movements, presenting the interface vocally and visually, and choosing the songs and their categories. All songs, backgrounds, and words are coded in files saved on the hard disc, which allows a choice of hundreds and potentially even thousands of songs. The digitalized process records only the user's voice digitally after processing with four instruments and software algorithms digitally merge the voice with the background music.
