Yeah, and to answer your other question, there is small waves within primary and major waves. I think they are called intermediate. I am not sure how to count those yet.

So, I just look at the support and resistance levels until a primary is taken out.

If Elliot Wave holds true, wave C will make a low around 600, which is a bit higher than your 500 target.

Yes, the idea is everytime it goes past 848, it means the B Primary wave is still in tact; 50 percent move up of A.


He is also keeping an alternative wave count for DOW. That theory would be that Primary Wave A has yet to be completed, and we will make a new low before B starts.

We would have to break the 789 area for this to happen -- then 741. He thought 738 would be the new low if this happens.

With the odds favoring we have hit against 848 more than that 789, I feel odds are a Primary wave B retrace is more likely than his alternate DOW count.

Bull Markets move in 1-2-3-4-5 patterns.

Bear Markets move in A-B-C patterns.

Minor waves occur within these patterns(like what is happening now). Major waves inside the Primary waves


Well, supposedly, if Primary WAVE A of Bear Market ended at Nov. lows, (741?)

Primary WAVE B, in the previous bear markets, has been a 50% of Primary WAVE A (AKA the entire bear market).

Then, Primary WAVE C makes the new lows.


I am not smart enough (yet) to pay attention to the subtle stuff of minor waves. I haven't had the chance to study from the masters of it enough.

All I know is every time the 848 is broached, it leaves the possibility Primary B is back in play(the 50% retracement scenerio)

Basically, in a bear market, you need 3 MAJOR(a-b-c) waves before each PRIMARY wave in a bear market is complete.
