With the filing of the application, Barrier may now claim "patent pending" status and gain protection from product and technology infringements until the patent application process is complete.

The new line is now scheduled to begin commercial production by March 31, 2006 and has been designed to produce up to 40 million sq.ft. annually on a two shift (2@8hr work shift) basis. Coupled with the production capability on the existing line, total capacity will exceed 50 million sq.ft. per year: sufficient to accommodate Barrier's anticipated near-term growth.

The huricanes that attempted to wipe out flordia are maybe the greatest thing that could have happened for this company. there is a plywood shortage and many homes and apartment buildings have to be rebuilt to the new codes, which i think require fire resistant roof decking on comercial property.

i think the company maybe sound...but i have been trying to get a direct contact to IBTGF and have not been able to. Investrend email was listed their IR contact. when i emailed them and asked for a contact at IBTGF so that i may inquire in more detail about their technology, i was told they don't give out that info because they do are do not server as Investor Relations for that company....contradicting the fact that their email is/was listed as contact at IBTGF's site.

I would also say that they apear to be a good company with growing financials and most importantly (because i have been burned before) an actual product in the market.

Funds to Facilitate Sales in Commercial Modular Roofing Market
Under Agreement with Mule-Hide Products

International Barrier Technology Inc. (“Barrier”) (IBTGF: OTCBB; IBH: TSXV) has completed a non-brokered private placement in the amount of 1.2 million units of the Company at a price of C$0.64 cents per unit for gross proceeds of C$768,000 to six placees. Each unit consists of one common share and one non-transferable share purchase warrant (the "Warrants"). The Warrants have an exercise term of twelve months from the closing date. One Warrant and $0.80 will entitle the placee to acquire an additional common share of the Company. The shares and underlying shares are subject to hold periods expiring June 2, 2004 and June 3, 2004 respectively. No finder’s fee was paid with respect to the private placement.
