Megawest oil, aka Gravis oil bit the dust. If nothing else they did help a few hard working people make rent in the area. Jim Long and crew are good hard working people and I tip my hat to them. The oil in that area has beaten even the best minds in the oil business. It should be strip mined. But the start up cost is more than most company's can budget, plus it is good farm land with most value in farming. Petroriver oil has it now, so RIP Deerfield missouri oil hope. It was an interesting ride.

well its 1:30 am cst, and i am wondering why all the posts have been taken off for almost the last year. ?????? The last post under this post is dated almost a year ago, 8/2011? I posted here just yesterday and all of the posts are gone! its like they wiped the board clean.
Disco!
Sorry for not answering immediately!
I have been on vacation recently!
I will add more in the 12 cents range soon!
I hope it dips under 10 cents so I can double my position!
Everything looks in place for GRAVF.OB!
Except one thing: The world is falling apart! LOL!
EX
ya
yes PDOS is crap because of insiders and bad management. same with gravis. you have only been here a few months. i have taken their ride for 2 years now. been to the feilds also. you might have made a few bucks on short plays. but they promised people long plays and alot of them trusted them. and went belly up. Randy there P.R. man even apologised for the companys actions over the years in a phone call. truth sux, but thats penny world for you
PDOS is crap now, and i have 30 plus people that know the company and people running it. and they would disagree.
PDOS is crap...btw.
You have to flip it like a hot potato. Gravis is much more stable. My long-term cap gains are fast approaching, and I have already paid for my shares on the bounce off the Dec 10 lows.
This stock hasn't been a loser for everyone is all I am saying.
Hey Ex!
Here's a present for you. Maybe you can verify:
http://www.dailyfinance.com/company/gravis-oil-corp/gravf/nab/institutional-ownership
I tried to post this on the GRAVF board, but I'm all confused now...lol.
I am WITH YOU here buddy! Stay strong...
if they had any stock volume at all, the stock would fall to 5 cents. and thats overpriced.
they have been selling out their percentage of the marmaton and grassey creek fields. they have done it 2 times sence 2009. they will not state how much percentage they have kept from all of the refinancing they have had to do for the last 2 years. they have 100% of the undeveloped land. but what about the developed land? the money making land? they skip around that on the web site. guess i could check there Q 10. Bill Thorton told me alot about the behind the company vail company info that you dont get on their website when he was on his way out. guess he figured he didnt have nothing to loose so he came clean. But i do understand the geology of the area in detail, and the potential is huge. if you take the web site for face value it sounds like they are getting it together better than before. its to bad they didnt have there act together before now. it cost alot of people alot of money. investors that didnt have the money to loose. the working man and woman. i lost a thousand plus dollars on there "vision" of the future. But even with that i would still invest if they would get the share price down to .10 or lower and be more forth comming with news and problems they are having in developing this property. its our hard earned money, we have the right to get a straight answer. there is alot of oil under the land from Deerfield to FT. Scott, and 10 miles to the north and south of Deerfield. if they would get real and lower the share price to .10 or under i would reinvest. but with there track record of the past and .35 a share, no way.
News Out!
I see it as good news!

EX
i wish they would have had the management they have now ...way back in 2009 when they started the deerfeild project, but hind sight is always 20/20. i stuck with them for 2 years and they did well....at frist, they bill thorton the then president of megawest seen it wasnt going the way they thought soon he talked a guy into investing 300,000. of his own money into the common stock(i got this from bill thorton himself on the phone ) the stock shot up to .23 , man we were jumping up and down with joy. then slowly over the comming months the stock whithered away to nothing. bill sold all of his stock at .23 and resigned in april 2011. i wish i would have dumped all my stock then at .23, but live and learn. i paid a heavy price for trusting this company. i was never asked to vote on there stock split, or informed of it. so i took another hit when i happened to look at my stock site and they were in the middle of changing the stock over to the split. and all of a sudden 4 cents went to .0007, i thought they were finaly going under and sold everything at that price. then 2 days later they corrected it and went to 40, cents. with R/S shates. nothing on website or anything until after the event. watered down news for 2 years, or no news, then this. no i have had my fill of gravis oil. they should have named it graveyard oil, just like the bones of carmel energy just a half a mile south of grassy creek, they will be next.
new management......same game.
This is simply devastating!!
Without news they´´ll push it toward 10 cents IMHO!
Time to show the cards for GRAVF.OB...............
just because you guys have taken a hit on this stock like i have, well.......maybe not as bad as i have on this stock.....but......im going to give you a gold mine. get your butts over to PDOS on this site. there is 2 weeks and more of what happened last friday. you all own me for this one. and im going to hold you to it. read the message board.
glad you have hi hopes disco, your going to need them. after watching my investments and others dry up like a water puddle on a hot summer day you lose it. the oil is there, and lots of it. but unless you understand the geology of the area in question then you dont see the whole picture. we went for a long roller coaster ride with bill thronton and crew and it wasnt pretty. even their own geologist said it was not going to work. she didnt stick around long after that. spoke with them before the name change, and after. look back at the posts i made about the geology thats the key. pumping oil that thick from shallow wells is just part of the problem. i could teach a class on why they need major equiment changes and pump re-tooling. im not saying it cant be done,im saying they are going to have to go back to the drawing board and re-think this whole thing. im still on board, i just hope they can do it. the land owners are making the money, but there is room for shareholders if they can make it happen. good luck disco......good luck to all of us.
if the management team can find a chemical mix to thin the oil
This is precisely what will happen. The Canucks don't play around and they are already a few steps ahead of the game on this.
Who do you think is financing Gravis right now?
You never answered Ex's question. When did you last speak with a representative of the company?
wish the oil was another 4 to 5 hundred feet deeper. it would be a better grade oil, plus it would have some gas to push it to the well head. its right on the point of being to shallow to work as an oil field. the warner formation is in the process of turning into a coal bed. given another few thousand years and someone will be strip mining the place.
They´ll find a way IMHO!
And then the market will begin realising it IMHO!
This was my last post!
TX!
EX!
if the management team can find a chemical mix to thin the oil and not pull out the liquid sandstone that leaves voids in the formation, then cave in's that block production, then vernon county will turn into missouri's saudi arabia. good luck
Brilliant management team!
Webejamn,
that´s the main point for now: They have a very good management team together!
That bodes well for the future until we hear more news!
Good luck to all!
Ex
P.S.: Disco, what´s your take?!
looks like you have a good management team, thanks for the news. they will have there expertise pushed to the limit with this project, but if they can overcome the soft sandstone/mud formation problems and figure out how to pressure the formation with enough pressure and not push the soft oil bearing sandstone into the well casings and clog everything again, plus get the oil to move and not cling to the sandstone like jello, then you will have a winner. now just keep the natural gas costs down. but its still going to take expansion every so often to keep production up. which means moving from field to field. which is not cheap. its a balancing act, but it can be done.with the right team.
how do you know they installed all the casing, pumps, and cleaned out the caved in wells.??? those fields need thousands of dollars of repairs, upgrades, and different tech ideas. something that does not happen overnight. and some news once in a wile to let us know whats going on would help as well. guessing games with my investments isnt my idea of peace of mind.
The company has changed within the last year...IMHO!
They are testing...they have more experience...they upgraded equipement...they have a new management team which seems very eager to suceed...and they are actually producing...
don´t let the past influence your view!
Heads up!
EX
also the equipment they used to pump the oil is complete junk. they bought cheap junk and now are paying for it. or i should say we are paying for it. i was at the open house they had at grassy creek 2 years ago, and i asked a question. i asked their vice president (which will go nameless for now) i asked did you put all of your bankroll into this project or did you test it FIRST to see if it was even viable? he didnt answer me, just gave me a look like a kid caught with his hand in the candy jar. i think they tried, i will give them that. they just went to fast and didnt know what they were truly getting into.
they would like to get the oil out, but cant. as per my frist post, the sand is way to fine, like talc powder. and its to shallow and that is 75% of the problem. they can't put full pressure on the formation because it will blow out of the seeps that are in the nearby creeks and cracks in the ground. carmel used to pressure there wells to the point the oil was bubbling out of the ground into creeks and crop land. but the fine talc powder type of sand stone is there greatest problem. they need a way to keep the sand/mud out of the well bore and still be able to pump thick heavy tar like oil. im sure you can see the problem. thats why gulf oil, exxon, and shell oil all looked at the area and after testing they passed on it. the better oil is north of marmaton project about 10 miles on the kansas - missouri boarder. and contuing north into the kansas city area. its primary oil production at depths of 300 feet and getting deeper as you go north. the oil is there, and lots of it, the potential is huge. but until someone comes up with a way to pull tar out of sandstone so soft that you can break it with your hands, and using light pressure at the same time, its just a bust.
And how do you know Gravis Oil does not have the desire to get the oil out of the ground!
EX
Webejam,
when did you talk to their "talking head"?!
EX
sorry excalibur, i thought the same thing. management has been milking us like an ATM machine. they were top heavy with office stuffed shirts that were pulling down 140 thousand a year apeice. they have trimmed down a few of them, but its to little to late. they needed good management in the frist place. thorton, the last president they had ran the stock up to 23 cents by bilking a guy to invest 300 thousand into shares just so he could get his stock money and run. and that he did. i should have sold everything then, but i still believed in the company. the oil is there, just need someone with true desire to get it out. and gravis oil doesnt have it.
they are following in the footsteps of carmel energy which the bones of the operation are just a quarter of a mile south of where gravis(megawest) is now. i wish i could say something positive, but this dog is on the death list. i know the history of this area well. the information of the history and geology of vernon county missouri that i have could pile up 6 feet. the oil is to shallow to be able to put much pressure on it. they would do better to strip mine it. it would make more sence.
i talked to there new talking head they have for public relations, and he told me the wells have caved in, the formation shifted and the sand filled most of the wells. i have did geology in the area myself with rock samples from out crops of the warner and bluejacket formations, and its fine sand, like fine powder. they put pressure on the formation and it sends the fine sand mud combo into the well bores. they are finished as per now. the well casing will have to be replaced as they used cheap well casings and thats going to cost a fortune. last time i saw jim long he was not looking good (the field manager on site)he looked tired and frustrated. its a washout guys, i lost a bundle on this one myself. i have been with them for 3 years now and this phase of operations and over, its a wash out. the oil is there, but they have no idea how to get it out.
DISCO
"I refuse to believe that there is NOTHING happening"
I believe there is very much happening right now at "Gravis Oil".
They cannot push the date for news to eternity IMHO!
With the right news´ this will be a $3.50 and us two will be rich!
(-;
Ex
I take consolation in the fact that somebody is at least fishing for shares at 20 cents.
I SEE you guys!!!
They can feel our desperation...LOL.
I refuse to believe that there is NOTHING happening.
I will give them 6 to 9 more months!
They reported 2009 full year earnings in September 2010.
I expect additional news at least by September 2011.
They are really putting patience to the limit.
The future reward needs to be significant if they want to calm myself down.
GOOD GOD GIVE US SOME NEWS!
By the way: The spread is ridiculous also. Almost 50 percent.
On the other hand: IMHO! Any kind of good news will start the rocketlaunch to 90 cents or higher...
They say patience is a virtue...
I have the patience of a saint but I am starting to lose mine.
WHAT IS UP TIM?!?
I still haven't heard anything from Investor Relations. I filled out the info request on their website and they never sent me anything.
I'm tempted to get on the phone here and see if I can get somebody to talk to me.
I appreciate that they don't pump their stock but this information vacuum is ridiculous!
I have the same gut feeling!
Tim Morrison is leaving his fingerprints on this company IMHO!
If he turns things around substantially...
... lucky enough we could have a real jackpot here!
What´s with those ohter investors! Can´t they see this tremendous chance?!
If those 8k shares at $0.40 don´t go through I will personally scoop them up!
And that´s not just talking......
The small float could trigger a rapid buying squeeze that´s for sure IMHO!
Let´s keep fingers crossed that we are right on this one!
Good luck.
ex
All things considered, 19,000 was pretty decent volume yesterday. I wonder what happens when all of the shares at .40 are gone...?
Love the new logo and thought that picture on the site with the oily fingertips was pretty awesome! Does it mean that they are going to be bringing that oil to OUR hands because they put that picture in the Investor Relations section?...LOL!
It would sure make for one hell of a PR!
At any rate, I have this feeling that something good is going to happen very soon. I just hope whatever they are doing is big enough to attract outside interest, because we don't seem to have much short interest to send us on a moonshot.
My first impression: Very positiv!
I´m truely excited about their new website!
Keep your shares IMHO!
IMHO the recent consolidation (share rollback) takes some risk out of GRAVD.OB stock in the way the stock price is percepted.
Those who bought under 2 cents back in december took the highest risk...
This could be a multibagger...
Again...I´m truely excited and eager to see what they will do next..
WOW!
ex
We were one of the top percentage gainers on the OTCBB yesterday too!
I wish I woulda been around when those 40s were going through. 500%+++++
Still haven't seen anything significant go off under 20. I'm waiting...
Bid 5000 at $0.01 Ask 500 at $1.05 as of 10:05 am...
Most funny stuff ever!
lol!
As I understand it,
after RS there will be just 13.4 million shares outstanding...
IMHO! Sellers might dry up and the stockprice might go vertical!
$2 is conservative if and only if they are able to get to these immense amounts of oil.........
Let´s see...!
In my eyes they are following a plan:
First the reverse split with name change... and then some kind of news afterwards to get the stock price going...Maybe IMHO!
I hope erveryone who wanted shares bought those from WEED for $0.03 the other day! lol!
Ex
Looks like somebody wanted this to open at .40 post-split. So you were sort of right that it would go above .04 on ANY news...LOL.
This is turning into a really big game of chess. On Monday we will open as GRAVD, before we make the transition to GRAVF next month. I wish the F was a Y so then we would know that we are making GRAVY.
I'm not worried about this one, but it will be interesting to see how it trades next week. You might see a very quick dip back under .20, but buyers will step in. The bid on this stock never ceases to amaze me--and I haven't seen anything to indicate that there is "funny" stuff going on.
This could very well be the end of the "quiet" period, and we are sitting on a $2.00 stock if they get something going.
We will see...
Yep, the dollar seems to be on a run like you said.
I agree Mgwsf.OB hit bottom at $0.0251 the other day!
This will jump back above $0.04 on any news! IMO!
Last year around this time we got some fiscal year production updates as I recall!
Let´s see!
Ex
Cleared them out today. I think it's bottomed out.
Have you been watching the dollar?
Where is the bottom?!
If the ASK shows $0.022 to $0.025 range I will be a huge buyer again!
Why should it dip lower!
MGWSF.OB could very well jump back above 10 cents on substantial news IMHO!
Maybe I´m the only person on this planet who believes in this company!
lol!
Good bye!
Ex
2 cents again?! Never IMHO!
But I could be wrong...I hoped the sell side would die off but now it is the buying side...oh well...
Your excerpt:
"I have this *sneaking* suspicion that the dollar just might be in much shorter supply than everyone realizes, so do keep your eye on the carry trade. TLT and UUP have been very interesting for the past 2 months."
So, you think the dollar will get stronger?!
UUP and TLT both bounced from the recent lows!
A lack of liquidity could influence the OTCbb in either way: UP or down...?
Whatever...MGWSF.OB PPS depends on news, otherwise it will drift down to under 3 cents like you say!
Regarding the combined Output rate of Grassy and Marmaton a poster on the Yahoo message board said that most of the recent output was from Grassy Creek alone!
So when do they heat up Marmaton like in 2010?!
The main Question remains: Will they be able to get this Oil out of the ground and become profitable?
What do you think? And when?
This is high risk! And my mood will just get better if Mgwsf.OB gets above 10 cents or better higher by October November at latest!
That is my plan! lol!
We´ll see.................
Excalibur
LOL! We got WEED on the Ask!!! And he's selling for 3! We are officially in the midst of a low-volume take-down.
You're sweet but I don't think now is the time. In my opinion we are on the verge of a broader unwind that is going to create some liquidity issues for penny stockers in the near term.
Me and you are in this BELOW the warrant holders, so I'm cool holding for now. If they EVER take this below 2 cents again I will be buying in spades.
I don't know if you remember 2008, but the dollar volume on the OTC markets basically DIED. A good chunk of monthly trading volume was WAMUQ and Nestle...LOL!
I have this *sneaking* suspicion that the dollar just might be in much shorter supply than everyone realizes, so do keep your eye on the carry trade. TLT and UUP have been very interesting for the past 2 months.
Just a heads up for ya.
ABout to skyrocket when 0.05 falls IMHO!
Does somebody need shares or something?
What's with the $5 trade today?
I hope they aren't waiting for some other oil company to do this for them...
