Chevy Traverse:

My Ford F250 Super Duty died. Well over 200,000 on it. I thought it might make it to 300,000 but was sadly mistaken.

Although my car died, I have been promising my wife a new SUV. We shopped for about 2 weeks before deciding on the Chevy Traverse. It is a crossover. Has three rows of seating and storage in the back. Yet, maintains a smaller profile.

We are both very happy with the purchase and glad we could contribute to the economy in a very tangible way.

IPAD/ Zagg IS

My mother-in-law came to stay at the house for 30 days to help with the new baby. A gift was in order for my mother-in-law's dedication and selfless service to our family. My wife and I decided to get out on the town and do some eco boosting!

We looked at book readers (kindle and nook) and were not happy with the product. We spent a couple hundred extra dollars and bought her an Ipad. She is totally happy! And so is my father-in-law (indirect beneficiary). What was awesome is that my in-laws would never have bought one of these on there own given their budget. As a gift, they gladly accepted.

As a big fan of ZAGG, couldn't resist protecting the new Ipad with a ZAGG IS. Why install it myself... paid a Best Buy Employee to put it on for me....doing our part to stimulate the economy!

New Dryer

My 1970s dryer was having issues last week. Bought it on Craigslist a a couple years ago. Anyhow, the air wasn't circulating well and we had to leave the clothes in the dryer for over an hour to get them dry. I shrunk 3 different shirts that were Christmas gifts. No one was very happy about that. I quickly went to Lowes and picked up a new GE dryer. Wife loves it and clothes are dry in less than 30 minutes!

Iphone 4

I bought an Iphone 4 for my wife for Christmas so we can facetime with her family. We currently live in Alaska and her family in the lower 48. We just recently had baby #2 and you might understand the need to keep everyone happy. Looking forward to trying this out when her family returns home.
