I remember a press conference/general meeting in the capitol of Texas back in the mid or early 90's addressing these voter machine problems. You would think they could fix the damn problem. And they could if they wanted to. There is absolutely no excuse in this modern age not to be able to tabulate and insure accurate voting. What a scam by the insiders. Why do we put up with this fraud on the people?

Texas: Early Voters Claim Voting Machines Altering Their Ballots
By
October 28, 2018
Well, this has been going on for some time and should not come as a surprise seeing that under testimony, we know that electronic voting can be manipulated and it can be done in such a way as so that no one knows it is even happening.
However, as early voters in Texas are discovering, some altering is taking place right before their eyes just like it did in 2016.
In Texas, the hotly watched contest between incumbent Ted Cruz and Democrat Beto O’Rourke is at the center of the voting.
Texans are claiming that their straight-ticket voting is being flipped to the other party in this key race and others.
This is occurring in at least 80 counties in Texas!
Some straight-ticket voters have reported that voting machines recorded them selecting the candidate of another party for U.S. Senate, exposing a potential problem with the integrity of the state’s high-profile contest between U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Congressman Beto O’Rourke and leading good government groups to sound the alarm.
Several Democratic voters, for example, have complained the voting system indicated they were about to cast a vote for Cruz, a Republican, instead of Democrat O’Rourke as they prepared to send it. Some said they were able to get help from staff at the polling place and change their votes back to what they intended before finalizing their ballots.
Most of the 15 to 20 people who have complained to the state so far said that their straight-ticket ballot left their vote for U.S. Senate blank, according to Sam Taylor, communications director for the Secretary of State. A spokesman for the Texas Civil Rights Project said the group has received about a half dozen complaints, mostly of Democratic straight ticket voters whose ballots erroneously included a vote for Cruz, and one Republican straight ticket voter whose ballot tabulated a vote for O’Rourke.
The problem occurs on the Hart eSlate voting machine when voters turn a selection dial and hit the “enter” button simultaneously, according to the state. Eighty-two of the 254 counties in Texas have these machines, although complaints have only come from Fort Bend, Harris, McLennan, Montgomery, Tarrant and Travis counties, according to Taylor.
In a report by ABC 13, several voters told their story about how their votes were flipped right before their eyes.
While Democrats and Republicans alike had their votes flipped, the state of Texas says, “Don’t worry, it’s user error.”
It’s popped up across Texas often enough for the Secretary of State to put up a statewide advisory on Monday to every Texas election advisor.
The Secretary of State calls it ‘operator error.’
“We’ve heard from voters over a number of elections about this,” said Ft. Bend County Election Administrator John Oldham.
***Visit our new FREE SPEECH community built for our readers. Click to Join The Deplorables Network Today!***
Oldham says it’s a problem he’s seen for years.
He even told the Secretary of State about it years ago and it’s still happening.
“It’s not a glitch, it’s a user-induced problem that comes from the type of system that we have,” Oldham said. “I think both sides could be equally hurt.” …
Sam Taylor, at the Texas Secretary of State’s office, tells 13 Investigates the problem is “user error” and not something their office could fix. Taylor suggests a vendor could or should handle any upgrades, but the state has not asked vendors to do so.”
That’s not all, Fox News adds this:
Taylor said his office “has no legal authority whatsoever to force any” voting machine vendors “to make upgrades if their voting systems are otherwise in compliance with federal state and law.” He said the Hart eSlate’s system was certified in 2009. He also said it was the county’s responsibility to purchase new voting equipment if needed.
“We will continue to educate Texas voters using existing resources,” Taylor said, “and urge all Texans casting a ballot to take their time, slow down, and carefully review their ballot before casting one.”
Really? What about not using the faulty voting machines Mr. Taylor and go to written ballots, where only the voter is in control of that ballot?
It looks like this is the electronic version of the hanging chads of the 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore, or could it be much more malicious?
Just to remind you, these voting machines have remote access control.
Just keep this in mind when you evaluate what is going on with electronic voting machines.

California: 1,500 Non-Citizens Registered To Vote - That's Just The Ones We Know About
https://freedomoutpost.com/california-1500-non-citizens-registered-to-vote-thats-just-the-ones-we-know-about/
They say California is the land of "fruits and nuts," and we can say they not only have a criminal government, but now have criminal voters. According to an internal audit that was conducted of the California Department of Motor Vehicles released Monday shows about 1,500 people may have been improperly registered to vote.
Ya think? Improperly? Really? This is a sanctuary state that issues drivers licenses to illegal aliens. For those in Rio Linda, that's criminals. So, yeah, it's understandable that illegal aliens will be registered to vote when they get a drivers license because that's what Democrats in California were aiming for all along, but what about those who are here legally but are not citizens? They aren't supposed to be voting either!
Of course, the DMV assures us the problem has been corrected.
take our poll - story continues below
“Approximately 1,500 customers may have been registered to vote in error,” the DMV wrote in a letter Monday to the Secretary of State’s Office. “This error has been corrected and is separate from the processing error we notified you about in writing on September 5.”
Non-citizens are among the affected customers, according to Jessica Gonzalez, a DMV spokeswoman.
The Sacramento Bee Reports:
In early September, the DMV revealed it sent 23,000 erroneous voter registrations. These additional 1,500 errors occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications.
Some were very upset by the discovery.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla blasted the DMV and Department of Technology in a letter.
“I remain deeply frustrated and disappointed that persistent errors by the DMV and CDT have undermined public confidence in your basic responsibility to collect and transmit accurate voter registration information, as has been required by federal law for 25 years,” Padilla wrote.
“Nothing surprises me anymore coming out of the DMV,” said Assemblyman Jim Patterson (R-Fresno). “This is probably the tip of the iceberg. I think we can expect more of these kind of registration problems.”
Patterson believes that the audit revealed the "unraveling of a cover-up."
This is the Democrats plan in the state. They want to sneak in as many living, dead and illegal alien votes as humanly possible without getting caught.
When it comes to voting, only citizens are allowed to vote. Publius Huldah has written extensively on the subject to help us understand the historical and constitutional foundation for only allowing citizens to vote and only allowing the states to determine qualifications and procedures for registering to vote.
PH writes:
Consistent with Principles of Republican Government, every State in this Union has restricted voting to Citizens. 1 But on October 26, 2010 in Gonzales v. Arizona, a three judge panel on the US Circuit Court of Appeals (9th Cir.) construed the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) and asserted that Arizona has no right to require applicants for voter registration to provide proof of citizenship. I wrote about it at the time HERE. On rehearing, the en banc Court of Appeals agreed with the panel; and on June 17, 2013, in Arizona v. The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc., the Supreme Court affirmed.
A few months thereafter, California passed a law which permits illegal aliens to get drivers’ licenses; and during 2015, consistent with the unconstitutional NVRA, passed “Motor Voter” providing that when one gets a drivers’ license, one is automatically registered to vote. 2
The federal government is unlawfully mandating that illegal allowed to vote in our elections.
She went on to explain the concept of citizenship, which the founders would have obtained from Emer de Vattel’s The Law of Nations, something that many are ignorant of while they push for anchor babies and those who are not natural born citizens to be president. PH also pointed to the writings of James Madison and Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist Papers to support her conclusions.
PH writes on how the federal government has ignored the founders and the Constitution when it comes to citizens only voting:
The Federalist Papers show that voting is a privilege of Citizens alone
The slaves in America were “inhabitants”, not “citizens”. They weren’t allowed to vote. Federalist No. 54 (5th para from bottom) tells us:
“…The qualifications on which the right of suffrage depend are not…the same… [in the several States]. In some of the States the difference is very material. In every State, a certain proportion of inhabitants are deprived of this right by the constitution of the State, who will be included in the census by which the federal Constitution apportions the representatives… the Southern States might… [insist]…that the slaves, as inhabitants, should have been admitted into the census according to their full number, in like manner with other inhabitants, who, by the policy of other States, are not admitted to all the rights of citizens…” [boldface added]6
In Federalist No. 60 (1st, 2nd and last paras), Hamilton speaks of the “fundamental privilege” of citizens to vote, and that citizens who are conscious and tenacious of their rights would flock to the places of election to overthrow tyrants. In Federalist No. 61 (2nd para), Hamilton speaks of “the suffrages of the citizens”, and of voting as an “invaluable privilege”.
Over and over, The Federalist Papers show that voting is restricted to citizens:
“In republics, persons elevated from the mass of the community, by the suffragees of their fellow-citizens, to stations of great pre-eminence and power…” (No. 22, 6th para from bottom) [boldface added]
“If we consider the situation of the men on whom the freesuffrages of their fellow-citizens may confer the representative trust, we shall find it involving every security which can be devised or desired for their fidelity to their constituents (No. 57, 7th para) *** “… that each representative of the United States will be elected by five or six thousand citizens…” (No. 57, 7th para from bottom) [boldface added]
“There is a peculiarity in the federal Constitution which insures a watchful attention in a majority both of the people and of their representatives to a constitutional augmentation of the latter. The peculiarity lies in this, that one branch of the legislature is a representation of citizens, the other of the States…” (No. 58 at 3.) [boldface added]
“…A small number of persons, selected by their fellow-citizens from the general mass, will be most likely to possess the information and discernment requisite to such complicated investigations …” No. 68 (3rd para) [boldface added]
Webster’s 1828 Dictionary shows our Founding Generation saw voting as restricted to citizens
Suffrage is:
“1. A vote; a voice given in deciding a controverted question, or in the choice of a man for an office or trust. Nothing can be more grateful to a good man than to be elevated to office by the unbiased suffrages of free enlightened citizens.”
Citizen is:
“5. In the United States, a person, native7 or naturalized, who has the privilege of exercising the elective franchise…”
Franchise is:
“1. … the right to vote for governor, senators and representatives, is a franchise belonging to citizens, and not enjoyed by aliens…”
Inhabitants and aliens may not vote unless they become naturalized citizens and meet whatever additional qualifications for voting are set forth in the State Constitution. Naturalization is:
“The act of investing an alien with the rights and privileges of a native subject or citizen. naturalization in Great Britain is only by act of parliament. In the United States, it is by act of Congress, 8 vesting certain tribunals with the power.”
State Constitutions set forth the Qualifications for Voting
When we operated under the Articles of Confederation (our first federal Constitution),9 the States determined the qualifications for voting in state and local elections and in elections to the Continental Congress. These qualifications were set forth in the State Constitutions, and varied from State to State.
In our federal Constitution of 1787, the States expressly retained (at Art. I, §2, cl.1) their pre-existing power to determine the qualifications of voters; and ordained that those whom they determined were qualified to vote in elections to their State House of Representatives would thereby be qualified to vote for their federal Representatives to Congress.
Our Framers specifically rejected the idea that the new Congress or the State Legislatures would determine who was eligible to vote. Instead, only The People of each State were competent to define the right of suffrage for their State, and their definition was enshrined in their State Constitution. In Federalist No. 52 (2nd para), James Madison tells us:
“…The definition of the right of suffrage is very justly regarded as a fundamental article of republican government.10 It was incumbent on the convention, therefore, to define and establish this right in the Constitution. To have left it open for the occasional regulation of the Congress, would have been improper … To have submitted it to the legislative discretion of the States, would have been improper … To have reduced the different qualifications in the different States to one uniform rule, would probably have been as dissatisfactory to some of the States as it would have been difficult to the convention. The provision made by the convention … must be satisfactory to every State, because it is conformable to the standard already established, or which may be established, by the State itself. It will be safe to the United States, because, being fixed by the State constitutions, it is not alterable by the State governments…”[boldface added]
Remember! Since the federal and state governments are merely “creatures” of constitutions, they have no power to determine who may vote. That power belongs to the “creators” of the governments. Only The People are competent to set the qualifications for voting; and our determinations are enshrined in our State Constitutions.
The States reserved power to determine procedures for voter registration
Our Constitution of 1787 created a federal government to which we delegated only “few and defined” powers [see chart]. Nowhere in the Constitution did we delegate to the federal government power to dictate procedures States must use in registering voters. Accordingly, it is a “reserved” power.11 Until the federal government usurped power over this issue, the States always determined their own procedures for registration. Justice Thomas wrote in his dissent [at II. A. 2]:
“This understanding of Article I, §2, is consistent with powers enjoyed by the States at the founding. For instance, ownership of real or personal property was a common prerequisite to voting … To verify that this qualification was satisfied, States might look to proof of tax payments… In other instances, States relied on personal knowledge of fellow citizens to verify voter eligibility. . . States have always had the power to ensure that only those qualified under state law to cast ballots exercised the franchise.
Perhaps in part because many requirements (such as property ownership or taxpayer status) were independently documented and verifiable, States in 1789 did not generally “register” voters . . . Over time, States replaced their informal systems for determining eligibility, with more formalized pre-voting registration regimes. . . But modern voter registration serves the same basic purpose as the practices used by States in the Colonies and early Federal Republic. The fact that States have liberalized voting qualifications and streamlined the verification process through registration does not alter the basic fact that States possess broad authority to set voter qualifications and to verify that they are met.”
The federal government has usurped the States’ powers to determine who may vote and determine procedures for voter registration
The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA) purports to require States to “accept and use” a federal voter registration form! The Ninth Circuit asserted that since the federal form doesn’t require applicants to provide documentary proof of citizenship, the States may not require it. This paper exposes some of the false arguments made by the Ninth Circuit’s three judge panel, and sets forth what Hamilton and Madison actually said as to the genuine meanings of Art. I, §2, cl. 1 and §4, cl.1: Arizona’s Proposition 200: What The Constitution Really Says About Voter Qualifications & Exposing The “Elections Clause” Argument.
But the Supreme Court affirmed the Ninth Circuit. Justice Scalia, who wrote the majority opinion, swept Art. I, §2, cl. 1 under the rug and ignored Hamilton’s and Madison’s explanations of Art. I, §4, cl. 1. Scalia asserted:
“The Clause’s [Art. I, §4, cl. 1] substantive scope is broad. “Times, Places, and Manner,” we have written, are “comprehensive words,” which “embrace authority to provide a complete code for congressional elections,” including, as relevant here and as petitioners do not contest, regulations relating to “registration”….” 12
Scalia said,
“…the NVRA forbids States to demand that an applicant submit additional information beyond that required by the Federal Form…”
and concluded,
“… the fairest reading of the statute is that a state-imposed requirement of evidence of citizenship not required by the Federal Form is “inconsistent with” the NVRA’s mandate that States “accept and use” the Federal Form…”
If you ask me, since California has declared itself to be a sanctuary state that harbors those who are here illegally, in violation of law, the entire state's votes should not be counted.

DIRTY TRICKS: French Voters Receive Invalid, Damaged Le Pen Ballots -
Damien Cowley May 6th, 2017 10:46 am 582 Comments
Reports are emerging of torn – and therefore invalid – Le Pen ballot papers
being received by voters ahead of tomorrow’s all important French
presidential election. In each case, the ballots of rival candidate,
Emmanuel Macron, are intact.
David Rachline, Campaign Director for Marine Le Pen, last night called
for vigilance on the part of voters receiving their election material,
and for those concerned to notify authorities at polling stations of any
damaged ballots.
Millions of packs have been sent out to French households in recent days,
containing voting information and ballot papers for Sunday’s election.
According to a press statement released by the Le Pen campaign, there
have been thousands of reports of invalid ballots being received across
such geographically diverse counties as Ardèche, Alliers, Savoie, Loire,
Yvelines, Eure-et-Loire, and Hérault – a broad spread across the country.
Videos are being posted and shared on Facebook = (666-NWO-evil-machine) of registered voters
opening their envelopes to reveal the contents – intact ballot papers
for Macron, ripped papers in the case of Le Pen.
In other videos, voters are seen opening envelopes only to find that both
ballots bear Macron’s name. Rather than an occasional anomaly, the same
circumstances have been noted in the voter packs of multiple voters
living within the same household.
Le Pen’s campaign has also accused certain mayors of breaking the
electoral code by using officially headed notepaper and state resources
for mail outs calling on voters to support Macron. Such violation of
France’s electoral code, if prosecuted, can lead to a fine of €15,000
($16,450) and up to one year in jail.
Despite polls giving Macron a significant lead, sources inform the
Gateway Pundit that the race will be much tighter. If this turns out to
be the case, a large number of disqualified ballots could make a
difference.
Polls are set to open across the country at 8am tomorrow morning with
initial results based on exit polling to be announced exactly twelve
hours later. The campaign, pitting nationalist, Le Pen, against
globalist, Macron, has garnered international attention and – depending
on who triumphs – could have huge implications for Europe and beyond.

Although it is an enticing thought, the facts bear out to be something different:
Hoover, Truman & Ike: Mass Deporters?
By Brooks Jackson
Posted on July 9, 2010
Q: Did Eisenhower deport 13 million illegal immigrants? Did Hoover and Truman use mass deportations to open jobs for U.S. citizens?
A: No. Nothing close to 13 million persons were deported during any administration. All three of these presidents wrestled with a rising tide of illegal immigration, but a long-running chain e-mail makes bogus claims about them.
FULL QUESTION
I received this e-mail and want to know if any of it is true and to what extent?
What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Found it very interesting, but wonder why you never hear any discussion about it?
Three Presidents did it, yet we never hear about it.
What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?
Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work..
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!
Now….if they could deport the illegal’s back then – they could sure do it today..
FULL ANSWER
This distortion of history has been going around for some time, but has picked up momentum as the immigration debate has heated up again. So we contacted researchers at the Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower libraries to ask if the historical record backs up the claims that these presidents ordered mass deportations. It doesn’t. We also consulted the Office of the Historian of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and a leading academic historian as well. We got the same answer. This e-mail message is bogus.
The true history of presidential policy toward illegal immigration, and of deportations, is neither as simple nor as successful as claimed.
?Hoover did not use immigration policy to "create jobs" and never "ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens." During his four-year presidency, roughly 121,000 persons were officially deported or induced to leave through threat of deportation, according to our analysis of official statistics. (We explain our sources and analytical methods fully in the "Where We Got The Numbers" section below.)
?Truman did not try to "create jobs for returning veterans" by ordering deportations. In fact, he signed legislation protecting the rights of Mexican migrant laborers recruited legally to help harvest U.S. crops, and was unable to win congressional approval of measures to crack down on employers of illegal immigrants. During his nearly eight years in office, about 3.4 million were deported or left "voluntarily" under threat of deportation.
?Eisenhower did not deport 13 million Mexicans. Only one-tenth that number was ever claimed by the federal officials in charge of "Operation Wetback," and even that figure is criticized as inflated by guesswork. Officially, just over 2.1 million were recorded as having been deported or having departed under threat of deportation.
Historian Mae M. Ngai calls the message "a most interesting distortion of history," and our research backs that up. Ngai, now at Columbia University, told us that "none of these presidents presided over any general deportation campaign."
So this e-mail’s claim that a president could "sure do it today" — that is, easily deport all the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants now in the U.S. — is a conclusion based on false evidence. No relocation effort nearly so large has ever been attempted, let alone accomplished "in two years" as this e-mail states.
Hoover
According to Marian Smith at the USCIS Office of the Historian: "There is no evidence that Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of all illegal aliens." And Matthew T. Schaefer, archivist at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library in West Branch, Iowa, told us in an e-mail message: "President Hoover never issued a statement, executive order or proclamation ordering the deportation of all illegal immigrants."
Hoover took office in 1929, when the very concept of "illegal immigration" was fairly new. For most of its previous history, the U.S. had encouraged immigration and threw up few legal barriers. The first permanent quotas on immigration had been put in place by the Immigration Act of 1924. And even that law did not apply to Mexico, or to any other country in the Western Hemisphere, because the U.S. didn’t want to alienate its neighbors, and needed Mexican laborers to help with the harvest. It did completely exclude immigrants from Asia, however, and set limits on immigration from Europe.
The Hoover administration, then as now, struggled to enforce the law. His labor secretaries worked to deport criminal illegal immigrants and public charges. (The Immigration and Naturalization Service, predecessor to the present-day USCIS, was in the Department of Labor at the time.) But official statistics show that the total number of formal deportations was less than 72,000 during Hoover’s time in office, plus another roughly 49,000 who were recorded as having left "voluntarily" rather than face official deportation proceedings. As nearly as we can gauge from the official record, 121,067 persons were deported or induced to leave during Hoover’s four-year term.
Where We Got The Numbers
We drew these figures from official statistics published by the INS for each fiscal year. The Hoover figures are drawn from table 24A on page 179 of the "Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service" for fiscal year 1952. The historical table details numbers of "Aliens Deported and Aliens Departing Voluntarily Under Proceedings; Years ended June 30, 1892 to 1952."
The fiscal-year figures don’t match Hoover’s term exactly, because fiscal years ended on June 30 in those years, and Hoover served from March 4, 1929, to March 4, 1933. So we added together totals for fiscal years 1930 through 1932 — the full fiscal years that fell entirely within Hoover’s term, plus pro-rated portions of fiscal year 1929 and 1933. For example, since Hoover was in office for 118 days of fiscal year 1929, we assigned to him 32.3 percent of the fiscal year totals.
For Truman and Eisenhower, we used the corresponding table (Table 23, page 55) from the INS annual report for 1961. We followed the same method for each to pro-rate figures for partial fiscal years. In the latter document "voluntary" departures are described instead as "Aliens required to depart," a somewhat more accurate term.
The ‘Mexican Repatriation’
It’s true that the years of the Great Depression saw an exodus of many persons of Mexican heritage — including some who were U.S. citizens. A report in USA Today, published in 2006, stated: "Tens of thousands, and possibly more than 400,000, Mexicans and Mexican-Americans were pressured — through raids and job denials — to leave the USA during the Depression." That report echos the findings of a 2006 book, "Decade of betrayal: Mexican repatriation in the 1930s," by Francisco E. Balderrama and Raymond Rodríguez. Those authors described "a frenzy of anti-Mexican hysteria" that included "mass deportation roundups and repatriation drives."
It is also true that federal immigration officials sometimes used legally dubious tactics in those days. A report to the 1931 Wickersham Commission, taking note of some "objectionable features" of the deportation system, described immigration officials "forcibly detaining groups of people many of whom are aliens lawfully in this country, or even United States citizens, without any warrant of arrest or search." The report added: "It is often customary for the immigrant inspectors to jail suspects, however apprehended, without a warrant of arrest or any other kind of a warrant." And it concluded, "The apprehension and examination of supposed aliens are often characterized by methods unconstitutional, tyrannic, and oppressive."
But it should be noted that it was Hoover who appointed the commission that brought these abuses to light, and that the descriptions of a "Mexican repatriation" during the Depression don’t put the blame exclusively, or even predominately, on federal officials. They also cite actions by state and local officials, "job denials" by private employers, and pressure by labor unions. In fact, historian Ngai told us in an e-mail message that Mexicans who were sent back "were repatriated by local city and county welfare authorities (e.g. Los Angeles, Detroit), not the federal government."
Hoover archivist Schaefer backed that up in his message to us, saying that Hoover himself did not push for deportation:
Hoover archivist Schaefer: The push for deportation arose locally. Los Angeles and California are probably the best known cases. LA paid transportation costs to ‘encourage’ ‘voluntary repatriation’ succeeding in sending tens of thousands of people back to Mexico in 1930 and 1931.
Hoover thought the very idea of restricting immigration from Mexico was futile, Schaefer said. "Hoover saw quotas for immigrants from the Western Hemisphere as unenforceable, so he opposed efforts to secure such quotas."
Truman
The claim about Truman is also not supported by the historical record. According to Tammy Kelly, archivist at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum in Independence, Mo.: "We have not found evidence that President Truman deported over two million illegal immigrants to create jobs for Americans."
Truman struggled with the problem of migrant farm workers — both legal and illegal. On June 3, 1950, he set up a Presidential Commission on Migratory Labor and asked it to look into (among other things) "the extent of illegal migration of foreign workers into the United States" and whether laws could be "strengthened and improved to eliminate such illegal migration." The commission ultimately recommended that the country should rely primarily on domestic farm workers, not immigrants, to perform farm labor. On July 13, 1951, Truman approved legislation to facilitate the employment of legal migrants to harvest U.S. crops, but also expressed a desire to reduce illegal immigration from Mexico and said additional measures were needed. "These people are coming to our country in phenomenal numbers – and at an increasing rate," Truman said. "Everyone suffers from the presence of these illegal immigrants in the community."
But the legislation Truman signed had to do with keeping legal guest workers flowing across the border to harvest U.S. crops. According to Truman archivist Kelly, the new legislation established reception centers to house temporarily legal immigrants from Mexico while the government found employment for them. Truman said in signing it, "We must make sure that contract wages will in fact be paid, that transportation within this country and adequate reception centers for Mexican workers will in fact be provided." He said it was necessary that the U.S. government "stand behind all contracts and guarantee performance in the future, if any more Mexican citizens are to be legally recruited for work in the United States."
It’s true that many were deported or induced to return "voluntarily" during the Truman years. We figure, based on the official historical tables, that more than 127,000 were formally deported and more than 3.2 million left voluntarily rather than face deportation — a total of nearly 3.4 million.
But the deportations and quasi-voluntary departures had nothing to do with creating jobs for returning veterans, as claimed in the chain e-mail. As Truman noted in a news conference on Oct. 3, 1946, most returning WWII veterans were quickly absorbed into the booming postwar economy. "Ten million veterans are gainfully employed today, compared with only 2 million at work on V-J Day–a gain of 8 million jobs for veterans in a year," Truman boasted. He said 900,000 veterans remained unemployed, and that "is still higher than any of us like to see it." But he drew no connection with illegal immigration.
Truman actually wanted to do more than he was able to stem illegal immigration. He said the bill he signed didn’t go far enough. He said he would ask Congress for stricter sanctions against employers who harbor illegal aliens, and would also seek clear authority for INS inspectors to raid workplaces without search warrants. "Congress did not pass the legislation Truman wanted, however, and the illegal immigration problem was passed onto future generations," Kelly stated to us via e-mail.
Eisenhower
Truman’s successor pushed harder, presiding over what was officially called "Operation Wetback," a vigorous, federally led effort to remove illegal Mexican immigrants from the Southwest. (The term "wetback" is a disparaging term applied to Mexicans who swam or waded across the Rio Grande River — and today is considered an ethnic slur.)
But it’s simply not true that "Eisenhower deported 13 million." The actual number expelled by "Operation Wetback" is no more than one-tenth of that figure, even counting many who were not formally deported at all. "The claim that Eisenhower deported 13 million immigrants must be the result of a typo or some other error," USCIS historian Smith told us. Since the officially claimed figure was 1.3 million, it is possible that the e-mail’s author simply dropped a decimal point, inflating the figure ten-fold.
The "Handbook of Texas," sponsored by the Texas State Historical Association, says in its entry on "Operation Wetback" that the number forced to leave is "probably less than 1.3 million":
Handbook of Texas: The INS claimed as many as 1,300,000, though the number officially apprehended did not come anywhere near this total. The INS estimate rested on the claim that most aliens, fearing apprehension by the government, had voluntarily repatriated themselves before and during the operation. … Many commentators have considered these figure[s] to be exaggerated.
We also contacted the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas. Director Karl Weissenbach told us his staff had researched the library’s holdings to determine the veracity of the 13 million claim and could find nothing to support it. Indeed, the staff turned up a report to Cabinet dated Jan. 26, 1955, that suggests a much lower total:
Report to the Cabinet, Jan. 26, 1955: [A] year ago the Border Patrol was faced with the disheartening task of apprenhending and expelling some 3,000 ‘wetbacks’ each day, apprehensions now are running slightly less than 300 daily.
"Operation Wetback" lasted only a few months. It was announced June 9, 1954, and focused initially on California and Arizona. According to the 1954 Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, (page 31) federal officials set up roadblocks and stopped trains at points at some distance north of the border. Some 800 Border Patrol agents, using jeeps, trucks, automobiles and spotter airplanes, used a system described officially as "blocking it off and mopping it up." Agents quickly expanded the operation to the entire state of California, including industrial areas as well as agricultural areas. By mid-July, 1954, the operation was extended to Texas. And it eventually encompassed "mopping up" activities in northern cities as well, according to the 1955 Annual Report of the Immigration and Naturalization Service:
INS, 1955: These activities were followed by mopping up operations in the interior and special mobile force units are continuing to discover illegal aliens who have eluded initial sweeps through such cities as Spokane, Chicago, Kansas City and St. Louis, which removed 20,174 illegal Mexican aliens from industrial jobs.
Mexican nationals were shipped back using trucks, buses, planes and ships. According to the Texas State Historical Society, the use of ships was discontinued after some drownings caused a public outcry in Mexico.
Handbook of Texas: Ships were a preferred mode of transport because they carried the illegal workers farther away from the border than did buses, trucks, or trains. The boat lift continued until the drowning of seven deportees who jumped ship from the Mercurio provoked a mutiny and led to a public outcry against the practice in Mexico. Other aliens, particularly those apprehended in the Midwest states, were flown to Brownsville and sent into Mexico from there.
The ‘Problem No Longer Exists’
As we said, the operation lasted only a few months, not the "two years" claimed in the e-mail message. "The operation trailed off in the fall of 1954 as INS funding began to run out," according to the Texas State Historical Society. Nevertheless, INS officials later claimed the operation had been a complete success and that the U.S.-Mexico border "has been secured."
INS, 1955: The so-called ‘wetback’ problem no longer exists. … [T]his is no longer, as in the past, a problem in border control. The border has been secured.
More than half a century later, history has shown that official claim to be a fantasy, just like nearly all the claims made by this chain e-mail. In fact, about the only true statement in it is that "we never hear about" the events it describes. That’s because they never happened.

What did Presidents Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?
This is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for Returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans.
The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could surely do it today.
If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Why, you might ask, can't they do this today?
Actually the answer is quite simple. Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!
Reminder: Don't forget to pay your taxes - 12 to 20 million illegal aliens – are depending on it.

Trump Picks Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana for VP
Trump & a Woman - Ticket 2016 possible
Dear Senators:
I have tried to live by the rules my entire life. My father was a CommandSergeant Major, U.S. Army, who died of combat related stresses shortly afterhis retirement. It was he who instilled in me those virtues he feltimportant - honesty, duty, patriotism and obeying the laws of God and of ourvarious governments. I have served my country, paid my taxes, workedhard, volunteered and donated my fair share of money, time and artifacts.
Today, as I approach my 79th birthday, I am heart-broken when I look at mycountry and my government. I shall only point out a very few things abysmallywrong which you can multiply by a thousand fold. I have calculated thatall the money I have paid in income taxes my entire life cannot even keep theSenate barbershop open for one year! Only Heaven and a few tight-lippedactuarial types know what the Senate dining room costs the taxpayers. Soplease, enjoy your haircuts and meals on us.
Last year, the president spent an estimated $1.4 billion on himself and hisfamily. The vice president spends $ millions on hotels. They havehad 8 vacations so far this year! And our House of Representatives andSenate have become America'sanswer to the Saudi royal family. You have become the "perfumedprinces and princesses" of our country.
In the middle of the night, you voted in the Affordable Health Care Act, a.k.a."Obamacare," a bill which no more than a handful of senators orrepresentatives read more than several paragraphs, crammed it down our throats, and then promptly exempted yourselves from it substituting your owntaxpayer-subsidized golden health care insurance.
You live exceedingly well, eat and drink as well as the "onepercenters," consistently vote yourselves perks and pay raises whilemaking 3.5 times the average U.S. individual income, and give up nothing whileyou (as well as the president and veep) ask us to sacrifice due tosequestration (for which, of course, you plan to blame the Republicans, anyway).
You understand very well the only two rules you need to know - (1) How to getelected, and (2) How to get re-elected. And you do this with the aid ofan eagerly willing and partisan press, speeches permeated with a certaineconomy of truth, and by buying the votes of the greedy, the ill-informed andunder-educated citizens (and non-citizens, too, many of whom do vote) who arelooking for a handout rather than a job. Your so-called "safetynet" has become a hammock for the lazy. And, what is it now, about49 or 50 million on food stamps - pretty much all Democrat voters - and theprogram is absolutely rife with fraud and absolutely no congressional oversight?
I would offer that you are not entirely to blame. What changed you is theseductive environment of power in which you have immersed yourselves. Itis the nature of both houses of Congress which requires you to subordinate yourvirtue in order to get anything done until you have achieved a leadershiprole. To paraphrase President Reagan, it appears that the second oldestprofession (politics), bears a remarkably strong resemblance to the oldest.
As the hirsute first Baron John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton (1834 - 1902),English historian and moralist, so aptly and accurately stated, "Powertends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men arealmost always bad men." I'm only guessing that this applies to thefemale sex as well. Tell me, is there a more corrupt entity in thiscountry than Congress?
While we middle class people continue to struggle, our government becomes lessand less transparent, more and more bureaucratic, and ever so much moredictatorial, using Czars and Secretaries to tell us (just to mention a veryfew) what kind of light bulbs we must purchase, how much soda or hamburgers wecan eat, what cars we can drive, gasoline to use, and what health care we mustbuy. Countless thousands of pages of regulations strangle our businessescosting the consumer more and more every day.
As I face my final year, or so, with cancer, my president and my governmenttell me "You'll just have to take a pill," while you, Senator, yourcolleagues, the president, and other exulted government officials and theirfamilies will get the best possible health care on our tax dollars until youare called home by your Creator while also enjoying a retirement beyond mywildest dreams, which of course, you voted for yourselves and we pay for.
The chances of you reading this letter are practically zero as your staff willnot pass it on, but with a little luck, a form letter response might begenerated by them with an auto signature applied, hoping we will believe thatyou, our senator or representative, has heard us and actually cares. Thisletter will, however, go on line where many others will have the chance to readone person's opinion, rightly or wrongly, about this government, itsadministration and its senators and representatives.
I only hope that occasionally you might quietly thank the taxpayer for all thegenerous entitlements which you have voted yourselves, for which, by law, wemust pay, unless, of course, it just goes on the $19 trillion national debt forwhich your children and ours, and your grandchildren and ours, ad infinitum, must eventually try to pick up the tab.
My final thoughts are that it must take a person who has either lost his or hersoul, or conscience, or both, to seek re-election and continue to destroy the countrythat I deeply love. You have put it so far in debt that we will never payit off while your lot improves by the minute, because of your power.
For you, Senator, will never stand up to the rascals in your House whoconstantly deceive the American people. And that, my dear Senator, is howpower has corrupted you and the entire Congress. The only answer to cleanup this cesspool is term limits. This, of course, will kill the goosethat lays your golden eggs. And woe be to him (or her) who would dare tobring it up.
