DataJungle Matrix is the most flexible Web front end to the Microsoft SQL Server business intelligence (BI) platform.
It spans the most critical BI functionality required the broadest range of user classes—including: dashboards, analysis, scorecards, collaboration, and mobile alerts. It does this in a way that provides an end-user experience that is unmatched in terms of ease of use and end user impact. Matrix integrates seamlessly with the key elements of the Microsoft BI platform: it encompasses SQL Server relational data sources, Analysis Services OLAP data sources, Reporting Services, and SharePoint. Matrix also supports Cognos PowerPlay data sources.
Matrix provides an out-of-the-box dashboard framework that enables users to get up and running immediately, without the need for any special dashboard authoring or programming expertise.
Users organize these views into any number of topic tabs they define.
Threshold indicators can be set to alert users to the current status of key performance metrics.
The Matrix framework, or individual views, can run as a Web part inside a SharePoint portal or can be ported from Matrix into any Web page using the Matrix Dashboard Builder.
Matrix dashboards can take on virtually any look required and can be readily personalized to expose the degree of functionality required by each user group, or for specific views.
With Annotator, users can add text and/or audio commentary and analysis, post questions, links, and attachments against PowerPlay views, rows, columns, and even individual cells. Annotations can be saved for personal use or for sharing with colleagues who have access to the specific cube being referenced. In this way, users can collaborate by creating threads of content that are fully integrated with the critical views of the data.
Annotator not only enables knowledge that is scattered through the enterprise to be brought together and integrated with the data, it also ensures that users have a consistent and shared understanding of business performance and opportunities. Users are alerted when new annotations have been added to a cube and when an annotation has been designated as "High Importance". All of this translates into better and faster decision-making based on the fullest synthesis of the information and knowledge resident throughout the enterprise.
