In January 2006, Craig co-founded Consorteum, an international Financial Services Company, providing pioneering technology solutions and management expertise for companies and organizations looking to develop, streamline or augment their methods of processing transactions. Craig brings over 19 years of North American and international business management experience to the table. His wide-ranging expertise includes 11 years with Xerox in a number of sales roles, before assuming senior management roles in systems, sales and service for Xerox's North American and International business divisions. Among his many accomplishments, Craig has also successfully developed several consulting businesses, has sat on the management team at Soft Tracks Enterprises, and has played a key role as part of the start-up team at Mint Technology Corp. Craig brings a wealth of expertise in the payments industry, in both local and international payment processing, along with HR-specific business management expertise, leadership, customer development and acquisition skills, keen strategic thinking, and a strong personal and professional drive for consistently high standards and values. Jim is a senior executive with a established track record in general management, sales, marketing, operations and card issuing for the Financial Sector, Retail and Telecommunications environments. A strong leader, strategist and communicator with an entrepreneurial perspective, Jim has 25+ years of expertise in business development, product development, process management, sales, marketing and directing operations. Jim has direct experience in the transaction processing business with TDSi, SNS, BCE Emergis and over 25 years of business experience in multiple related areas. Within the last 5 years, Jim has assisted in the start-up of a number of profitable businesses, in the merchant services area of the Financial Sector. Jim has also assisted several organizations in negotiating contracts and services with major possessors and other service providers in the payment and card industry. Mr. Smethurst has for the past five years been employed as Chief Financial Officer of Sernova Corp., accepting responsibility for the company's financial and administrative matters since July 2009. Prior thereto Mr. Smethurst was employed as Chief Financial Officer of Bronte Financial Services and Bronte Renewable Group SA for more than 4 years. Mr. Smethurst is a graduate of Manchester University in England with a B.A. in Economics, and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Institute of Scotland and Ontario, Canada.
