CHEVY CHASE, Md., March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CapitalSource Inc. (NYSE:CSE) today announced the appointment of Donald F. Cole as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 1, 2009. Cole will succeed Thomas A. Fink, currently Senior Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, who is resigning to pursue other interests. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Fink will continue as CFO until May 1st and remain with the Company until June 19, 2009. In addition, Mr. Fink will provide consulting services until December 31, 2009.

Don Cole is a CPA and a lawyer. He is a long term member of the senior management team and has served in a variety of roles since joining CapitalSource shortly after the Company was founded. He is currently the chief administrative officer and in recent years has served as the interim principal accounting officer, chief operations officer and chief information officer. Looks like we could have bottomed out last week....I love this stock they spun out their healthcare reit and are on their way to becoming a bank......looks like its gonna do well

expect div cut but that will help the share price as I think cse will be in acquisition mode to buy some battered regional banks.....

Cramer and all the "experts" always lump lenders together. Never look at their individual characteristics.

Does he know they pulled out of costly deal,,locked up
$ billions in funding going forward,,,or that they Acquired Bank Branches and Assume $5.6 Billion in Deposits? CSE has made every right move,,,,As the dividend proves strong and other who have not made similar moves falter,,,CSE soars.

its brutal to see I mean nasdaq stocks im used to seeing manipulation thats the way a dealer market goes but for a nyse (an auction market) to be played with like this with the so called "market specialists" its easy to see that this action is a headfake for cheaper paper preying on people fears thats whats ruling the markets right now....fear....oh well good for me buying a lot more................

Pulling out of Nebraska deal good. They had the right to renegotiate price before completion,,,and since bank PPS was cut in half,,,they wanted to. but,,,sMM shorts hammered down 30% on Thurs,,to scare people out--before it recovered the 30% by end of day. Maybe no in for 15% less,,plus dividend,,,and by next quarter they look like geniuses.
