Oh I agree alternatives are a viable option. But you make very good points and someone in a Monitor's monitor postion should just be a machine. Estalish the protocal and then let it work.

G.B. I support the idea of IHUB, also. This thread is merely here to make people aware that if things become unbearable they don't have to suffer, there are always more sites.

I also was sorry to see that IHUb was in danger of becoming just si jr., because l agree with the people that think the biggest reason why si self destructed was because they allowed a select few people to ruin the internet experience for others. Most people want to be left alone to either make money or lose money, fail or succeed on their own, that's the way americans are. (I'm sure that it's not limited to americans, either!) No one likes to see their investments trashed, or likes to be badgered, harassed, stalked, ridiculed, humiliated, by other people, and especially not by those few people at si that somehow seemed to be in charge of everything there. Then what happened, they showed up here, and it seemed like bob was going to make this site just like the one that everyone couldn't get away from fast enough.
I'm sure you read his beginnin postings, it was almost as though a basher puppet was in charge, and the heck with what everyone else wanted.

I halfway almost am starting to think that an admin guy should probably know absolutely nothing about stocks, just how to run a site, and stay out of it all and just enforce the TOS, not even being able to read who writes the posts. Then after he makes a decision he finds out who wrote it. LOL.

But this board is just here for people to be aware that they always have a choice, and they can always come and look here and find other boards, if they feel that that is what they must do to be happy.. They don't have to feel trapped here if they have the knowledge.

I am not giving up on IHUB either, at least not yet anyway.

Marty ... I support IHUB and the original concept that was designed to escape the cronies of SI & RB. Even though we have Bob and I do carry the cyberscars of a massive urban legend character assassination that was not put into check, I feel that now that Bob has experienced some of the effects of being attacked. He may be more sensitive to his logic and adminstration concepts and the affects it has on people.

As the SI cronies are rushing here posting off topic, mounting personal attacks to defend Bob, he is savvy enough to understand that what is happening is not good for him, IHUB and most of all for the people. People have a right to tranquility and peace to share their opinions and these are the same people that always state an underlying basis to their opinions. The ones that do not are the cronies and their numerous personal attack cards.

Francios should have gotten a suspension but not a ternimation. I am not one that will run from a fight nor do I easily turn my loyalty away from where I truly believe is in the best interest of the people. Cronies care not about people only about the mountain of disruption they can cause through Urban Legend generation.

This incident was bound to happen and many will have learned a lesson from it when it is finally resolved. I see no reason to bail out just yet but allow IHUB in its infancy to change the banner of Immediately Humble Unto Bob to IHUB meaning Informative Harmoniously Understood Boards!
