Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) reported a 32% decline in vehicle output across its Italian facilities during the first nine months of 2025, according to figures released on Tuesday by the FIM Cisl union.

Between January and September, the automaker produced just over 265,000 vehicles in Italy, spanning both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, the union said in its quarterly review of Stellantis’ manufacturing performance.

Looking ahead, FIM Cisl expects total annual production to amount to slightly above 310,000 units, suggesting a year-on-year contraction of roughly one-third. The union also projected that passenger car output would drop below 200,000 units in 2025, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by Stellantis’ Italian operations amid shifting market dynamics and industry transitions.
