Bought 2,000 shares of JOEZ the other day at $1.15. Added to my position with 3,000 shares at $1.08 today.

Sold $5,000 shares of ZAZA at $2.03. Stoploss triggered. Trading around work seems to have my hands tied. I wonder if I should avoid using stoplosses, but it's my only line of defense to capital while at work. Took a steep loss on ZAZA.

My reflection on my first week back trading in my regular account is that I need to get back to being more patient on my buys. I had a buy order in on ZAZA at $2.00, but I got impatient and bought at $2.20. Only then to see it drop to $2.00 a few days later. Also on GKK, I had a buy in at $3.01 but moved it up around lunch to $3.07 only to see it close at $3.00. Trading around work is sort of a disadvantage for best price maybe.

Dumped GSS at $1.78 for a small loss and picked up 2,000 shares of MTG at $2.61. I'm expecting this one to pull back a little, but overall, I like this one for 2013 in the ROTH. I may try to time a sell before earnings and then hop back in after earnings. I'm not sue yet if I'll do that or just hold through the year.

SPOM is accumulated heavy. Volume was good IMO, float is less then 25 mil, and news will be released next month. This is a real company with real products in CVS, SEARS, AMAZON, etc.

SPOM has no volume. Today there were 16 trades. Even if it goes up to 5 cents, you will never be able to sell 400,000 shares without crashing the price. The spreads are huge and the last trade of the day was worth $347. Pennies are just people with money screwing with people without money. Play big boards with a million plus in volume. I've made ten times more money over the years playing big boards than I ever did playing pennies.

Patience is the key. I remember in the beginning when I had no patience. Constantly selling at break even or a loss only to see it explode days/weeks later. Now I make my decision on what I think the possible percentage return is and then wait for it to hit that number. I miss out on crazy runs that explode past my target but I'll take my consistent gains that add up in the end.

Nice pic. I'm interested in what Nissan decides to do with the next generation. Some rumors floating around that Nissan will downsize the Z to compete more with the Subaru/Toyota BRZ/FRS. Supposedly more like a return of a 240Z than what the Z has become. I currently own a 1973 Datsun 240z so I'm hoping that turns out to be reality. Of the 3 Z's I've owned, the 240 has been my favorite.
