IMO.......they don't seem to want to talk?......because they don't even have a website updates on WTF is going on, which is RUDE.......because we have been here for a long time and its a private company. How hard is a line or two update every few years?

they called me a few years ago because I knew/had contact with a few of the people who had bought the prefered shares many years ago. MY main source and Friend has died and taken that information of his contacts with him. I knew a few of those and they are gone also?

So if those shares exist?......they are in some dusty envelope or in the dump years ago? Time kills all ambitions.......So?.....all we have if the few retards here and in the company still breathing.

He does a great job with every few days updating the site with current news articles related to mercury and its articles from all over the world.


As I see he is doing that to let people or possible joint venture partners or any kind of partner that the company is a going concern, but it is a private company for now.


I drop in every once in a while, maybe once a week? sometimes more to see what has been posted. As I understand it from what I have gathered from Bob's actions and a few communications over the years that ........if some deal is done and consummated we will find out about it when it is completed and done.

I think the last time where it was 99% done and then it got derailed at the last minute was a big shock and emotional drain on everyone. 

IMO......it's all going and ticking behind the Scenes.....but they are not talking and wasting time doing that.

We will find out when we find out? or.....nothing because there is no 100% done and consummated deal. 

So this seems to be the policy so save energy and stress with the few people running the company and I can understand that.

I always keep up the hope within myself and do get encouraged by every article that Bob posts, because we are in the right space. There is a huge need to fix the mercury poisoning problem, but when will the world step up and do it?

That is the question. It is almost a Spiritual question at this point. When will people say enough is enough and fix this crime of mercury poisoning. I think it will happend and I think all the time that we are close.

It could happen at any moment if you ask me. But I have been saying that and buying stock for 20 years? I am a long long.........long term optimist. But I sure am getting long in the tooth?

I'll repeat here what I said there, which is that I was actually able to make a sell at 0.005, which would have been up over 1000% at the time. Basically, I saw that there was a bid posted at that level and I wondered if it was real, so I offered up some shares I had in an IRA that I wanted to clear out anyway. The transaction took maybe ten minutes to execute I think.

Doing my periodic check in. I put in a buy order on Etrade at the current low price of 0.0004 - no action. I notice that there is still a $6.95 commission, so I do need to worry about a bunch of tiny transactions. Over at AladdinTalk Bob Lembo is still at it. Same bleak story of environmental destruction, but no company news.

I got the same notice from E-trade and from TD-Ameritrade.....zero comish?......how does that work? It feals like bad to me.

As I see it...... the only way we are going to make money is not from zero commissions, but from some kind of deal.

I see that the Aladdin blog is still being updated. Lots of stuff about environmental damage from miners. The only problem for Aladdin is that mercury poisoning is only a part of the damage. There were a lot of trades on 5/14/2019. Since then only these two:

If I am counting the decimals properly, the 8/13 transaction amounts to 10 cents.

It's that eTrade commission charge drobx and I stumbled upon.

"Ugh, I had been under the impression that there was only one commission charge as well. I went back and checked and found just as you did that there were in fact multiple $6.95 commissions per order. I don't think it's exactly per fill, but rather per day that any fill occurs. So if there were two fills in one day, then that only costs one commission."

But then, even a partial fill each day for a month would only be $200+ and effectively double my Bid cost. Which I would accept if I got those 400,000 rather than a few hundred, as a dozen each time.

Just knowing that any, and I mean any small little tiny insignificant news from this company would push .0001 to a penny or dime or more.

What do you mean by "do a dummy"?

I was not allowed to do a dummy.

My buy order (eTrade) for 400,000 ASPTs at $0.0002 expired with no fill.

It was a one day (today) order.

Maybe a buy at $0.0005 will work.

It will take a few more days before my $100 transfer into my cash account to happen, then I'll have $200 to play with.

It seems like the price of .000001 is too low to make any sense in an actual market situation. A possibility is that when people have shares in a stock whose value is less than the cost of a commission the broker takes them off their hands for essentially $0 and forgoes the commission. This is something I have done in the past. By assigning a non-zero value the trade then shows up in the 1099, helping people not to forget to take the tax loss.

I wonder how shrs were sold on 5/14 for .000001? I can not put in a bid for under .0001 with Etrade. I have seen this low price per share in the past. Did anyone ever buy ASPT for .000001?

Following this company is good for keeping your decimal skills sharp. You put $50 at risk (plus commissions of course). Think of it like buying a Zimbabwean trillion dollar bill - a novelty, not an investment.

Dang, I would have gone as high as 0.0002. It is indeed very weird how the trades play out at such widely different (percentage wise) prices. BTW, the trades I listed were limited by the size of the "most recent trades" page on the website I use, so there were presumably some earlier trades I missed.

This was a partial fill of an order I had outstanding for months. They could have sold me a lot more at .0001 but instead sold some for less and some for more. The grey sheets sales for ASPT never seemed to flow logically.
I believe grappa2 nailed it with his experience. Tdamerica (or some brokerage firm) cleaned out a lot of unused accounts. I checked all of my old Scottrade account that turned into Tdamerica accounts and they left them alone even though I have large aspt balances and just a few dollars cash.

I sure wish we could get a buyout too. I would have been pleased to buy all 685,230 shrs for .0001. It would have been for under $100. I spend a lot more at a baseball game with no hope of a better return. At least with ASPT I have a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of hope that has stretched on for years.

At this point it’d be just nice to wake up to a nice buyout offer and be glad we waited.... an update that they’re still alive would be cool too... I’m sure Al’s working it.... like to think so anyway..... sooooo much potential with current changes in thinking ....

The chart on Etrade does show a volume of about 700k for that day.

I can explain one of those transactions. It was on one of my wifes old account from years ago. It was the trade of 3333 shares executed @ 15:09:30 for $ .0004.

It had the proceeds of .93 cents .........and I found out it was executed by TD Ameritrade by their in house computer because we owned the firm $ 37 dollars on the old account that was not actively used by us anymore.

It appears that the in house computer for TD Ameritrade did this on its own. So......IMO.....maybe other accounts from other old foggies here got sold out also for fees that get build up over the years?

At first I got excited when the broker mentioned a buy out!!!......WTF said I.......but not to be.

Just a dead dog that got burried for .93 cents. We only had 10,000 shares in this account to begin with and after the 3 to one reverse of a few years ago that caused all the silence and broke All's heart in seems........that is all that was left of a great idea and some hope.

The reason that you may be getting a $0 commission is that the price can by unlimited on the upside. This means that the broker does not know the closing cost until after the trade.

I have ran into this before and had trades on only one share be into the hundreds of dollars because the stock was on the greys. The reason for this is that this is done with paper in a way and there can be costs on delivering the paper certificates or shares, ther can be even unlimited legal cost if there are problems getting the certs from whom ever was selling or the transfer agent.

Some shares could be counterfit in this kind of market and for some of those reasons most brokers don't mess with it because it can be a real hastel clearing the rades and mailing the certs and even having to get opinion letters from lawyers.

So.......I never tried again after my broker scared me with that information. NOW some of that is a few years old info.....but IMO......better ask a broker directly even on e-trade because it may all go smooth until it does not go smooth and then you will be charged.

We think we get a bargain and then we can get reamed. Also I heard that limit orders and all or none and restrictions that you think you have may not be so clear........since it is a grey market.

problaby a good idea to ask them both on what is the hidden risk in this market. It sure is tempting though.....if you get lucky and get the shares in your account and they are real and clear of any issues......which sometimes you or the broker do not know until may be years latter when some transfer agent in these pink sheets goes out of business and can't deliver.......So???

I have done all of my ASPT buys through Etrade. I also have a Schwab account so I decided to check if I could buy through them and it appears I can. At least I was able to enter an order. The weird thing was that it showed a commission cost of $0. Another thing I noticed, was that in my order I have more choices of order type than with Etrade. In addition to "all or none" there is a "minimum quantity" option on Schwab, which I don't see on Etrade. That would take care of the danger of getting miniscule partial fills. Of course, if the commission is really 0 then that wouldn't matter.

What broke do you use? if you don't mind sharing that will do grey sheets? thanks

The interesting thing is that I had at that time outstanding orders for 50K shares at 0.0003 and 0.0006. They were both set to "all or nothing." If the 95K trade had been matched to my 0.0006 bid they would have made nearly as much money and had 45K shares left over.
