The point is, they might have already "shown interest." They probably already have. We just don't know about it, and couldn't, and probably shouldn't yet.
Talks occur all the time of which the public is unaware.
Bottom line, just because no PRs tout "interest" does NOT mean that interest has not been shown. Hell, they could be close to inking a deal, and we would never know.
Regardless, I would still prefer that they obtain capital from sources OTHER than Lilly or other big pharma. I live close to Lilly for example, and I view them like the chemical company in the first Batman (i.e. Keaton)--don't trust them at all.
But that's beside the point--I want them to remain independent and obtain capital from sources other than partnerships or JVs or mergers or acquisitions or reorganizations, etc. More money for them and more money for us with that strategy. That's all.
