Well, think on this: Roku is the undisputed king of OTT Streaming with sales approaching 10mm units & they are opting to risk having ZERO 4K presence in 2014 due to cost. They have a business model, they selected a chip set, that chip has been DELAYED REPEATEDLY & Roku is not adapting. (if you can get PAST the OBVIOUS FACT that this makes Roku a BIG SCAM!!!...MORE BROKEN PROMISES!!!)
Instead, 4K Streaming Technologies are likely to include quite a few OTT Streaming Options & Devices eventually; (for the Moment NTEK has THE ONLY 4K STREAMING MEDIA PLAYER on the market) but for the first time in YEARS: NO ROKU!!!!
I suspect Seiki is taking the same tact: COST CONSCIOUSNESS.
However, I believe Seiki hired NanoTech to provide a "4K Content Solution" & commissioned NTEK to innovate a suitable option for their 4K TV Panels. I believe NTEK, via their Nuvola NP-S1 did EXACTLY that, & delivered the product to Seiki ON TIME in advance of The 2014 CES Trade Show.
I believe we'll see that in the upcoming filings, along with additional revenues & announcements. I am uncertain why NTEK has not been allowed to speak, or has chosen to remain silent (at this point), but I believe that technology was developed by NTEK.
